Achieving Supply Chain Resilience through Supply Chain Risk Management and Supply Chain Partnership 通过供应链风险管理和供应链伙伴关系实现供应链弹性

Supply Chain Resilience (SCRs) is a set of adaptive capabilities that enables preparedness for unanticipated occurrences, reduces interruptions, and restores operations to a steady state by restoring operations to the expected degree of connection and control over the structure and function. This study aims to assess supply chain risk management (SCRM) and supply chain partnership (SCP) promotes SCRs among shipping companies in Indonesia. The shipping business is often exposed to more risks and requires partnerships with other companies. A descriptive quantitative research design was used to conduct this research. The research using an instrument was a questionnaire delivered to 108 companies, but only 89 returned for data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that SCRM and SCP have a significant and positive relationship with the resilience of the supply chain. Management involvement suggests that enterprise supply chain managers should pay attention to SCRM and establish a risk assessment scale to more effectively prioritize risks to operate a resilient supply chain. Other shipping companies should establish SCP and pool their resources due to their needs and exposure to their techniques and procedures. By contributing to supply chain management, this study complementing the sparse literature on SCRM and SCP as facilitators of supply chain resilience in Indonesian settings.

Blockchain Technology in Post-Covid Agriculture 后疫情农业中的区块链技术

The Covid-19 pandemic poses great challenges to the resilience of global agriculture in response to disasters or crises. The pandemic mitigation measures prevent the spread of coronavirus but bring disruptions to the agriculture sector. Smallholder farmers and small agricultural producer particularly showed their vulnerability to these disruptions amid the pandemic. Technology innovations can be adopted to develop resilient, flexible and inclusive agriculture. Blockchain enables autonomous and decentralized coordination of trust in a distributed network without any trusted third-party intermediaries that can vastly reduce the transaction costs of exchange and trade. This paper examines the viable applications of blockchain technology in enhancing the resilience of agriculture and the food supply chain, facilitating trades and financing, and driving value allocation from a perspective of institutional economics.

Operational Effectiveness of Logistics: Empirical Evidence from V. O. chidambaranar Port Trust- Tuticorin 物流运作效率:来自V. O.奇丹巴拉纳尔港口信托公司的经验证据

With the emergence of the concept of Globalization, the international trade has been happening in an unimaginable way. For any company to sustain in this ever competitive and evolving business environment, the practices and also the logistics involved should be affordable. In this context, ports play a major role in minimizing the cost to the companies involved in international trade and hence this study has been conducted by taking VOC port as a point of interest. The study has conducted a survey about the opinion of respondents who are classified as three categories who are involved in freight forwarding, transportation and warehouse operations on the effectiveness of customs clearing operations and specifically about the opinion of freight forwarders on the challenges faced by them in logistics. The results indicate that there has been the same opinion among the freight forwarders regarding one particular variable which includes the financial background which measures about the financial performance of the companies who are involved in the operations in the port of Tuticorin. Another major finding of the study indicates that some major improvements has to be made when it comes to the customs clearing procedures since most of the respondents irrespective of their position felt the need to improve the customs clearance procedures which in turn will eventually helps them in gaining the comparative advantage in the global trade.

Perceived Quality Created by the Light Reflection on a Car's Exterior Design 光在汽车外观设计上的反射所创造的感知品质

Product design can be broadly divided into styling and perceived quality. In general, the former tends to attract attention, but it is difficult to obtain significant results in proportion to investment. For example, even if a large budget is allocated to a design styling project, there is no guarantee that the styling will improve in proportion to the amount spent. Moreover, perceived quality has a clear return on investment. High quality can be achieved as much as the investment. For this purpose, it is necessary to understand the factors that increase the product value from the consumer's point of view, and then invest appropriately. In industrial design, perceived quality consists of color, material, and finishing (CMF) which stands for color, material, and finishing. Among them, this study analyzed color with a focus on brightness. The following hypothesis was tested: "in car exterior design, light reflection brightness enhances consumer-perceived quality." Five designs were produced with the same styling but different levels of light reflection. Further, via an online survey in Japan, the designs were evaluated using Thurstone's paired comparison. As a result, the aforementioned hypothesis is supported. Although the importance of perceived quality has been recognized, there still exists a lack of discussion about how it can be embodied and its effects for purchasing behavior. This study provides meaningful suggestions for creating value in industrial design.

The Importance of Procurement Organization, Policy, and Value on Supply Chain Performance 采购组织、政策和价值对供应链绩效的重要性

∗ The supply chain plays a critical and strategic role in government and the private sector. In terms of efficiency and effectiveness, a good supply chain performance is very important. The purpose of this research is to determine the significance of procurement organization, policy, and value in improving supply chain performance of an Indonesian non-ministerial government entity. This research is a cross-sectional survey by quantitative approach. In this study, a G-form questionnaire was used to collect data, which was then processed using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test. Purposive sampling was also used in this study, with a sample size of 58 respondents. The results showed that the procurement organization, policy, and value all played an important role in the supply chain performance of the procurement department of an Indonesian non-ministerial government entity. In accordance with the findings, the study was provided by discussion, implications, and future studies advice.

Systematic Literature Review on Industry Revolution 4.0 to Enhance Supply Chain Operation Performance 工业革命4.0提升供应链运营绩效的系统文献综述

Industry 4.0 is a notion in which industries automate systems and processes, innovate digitally, and share information. It aims to obtain a smart factory in an attempt to lessen required time in responding to consumer demand or unexpected circumstances and to enhance organizational productivity. The integration of Industry 4.0 and supply chain management (SCM) ensures immense development opportunities for manufacturing firms. This article provides a systematic literature review and formulation of the existing research on Industry 4.0 in SCM, resulting in some intriguing analyses that will be useful to academics and industry, particularly top managers. The content of the article is classified into three categories: exploratory vs. confirmatory, qualitative vs. quantitative, and management level vs. technology level. The findings will benefit managers in understanding the significance of Industry 4.0 and its relationship with SCM. The formation of clusters and their affiliations has resulted in the emergence of new areas requiring managerial attention. The article concludes by examining the possibilities of the present and future research.

A Chaincode-based Framework for Securing Patient Health Information in Hospital Environment 基于链码的医院环境下患者健康信息保护框架

Goal of any healthcare system is to provide good service to the public in a most effective manner. The hospital healthcare system is a common platform for people to access the health related services, anytime and anywhere. This service is completely driven by the regulations and policies of government and hospital administration. At present most hospital systems in India lack a secure mechanism for maintaining and managing patient health records. This is a crucial capability which a hospital healthcare system must have. Failure to have a robust system will cause multiple issues like inaccessibility when required, wrongfully sharing patient health record or allowing unethical players to access the health records. This will ultimately lead to lack of trust in the system Most of the current hospital healthcare systems store information centrally and provide access to the connected nodes as required. This architecture leads to single point of failure when central server is down or crashes or gets hacked. To overcome this problem, we have proposed a Chaincode-based framework to secure patient health information in hospital environment. Chaincode is a smart contract program which gets executed on Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain network automatically. A Chaincode stores the information in decentralized digital ledger and creates a secured and private blockchain network with trusted nodes and provide data visibility, data security, and data transparency with respect to patient health record at any time. This technology could solve the above said problem in more efficient way and provide better visibility and transparency to patient health data with more security.

This will ultimately lead to lack of trust in the system Most of the current hospital healthcare systems store information centrally and provide access to the connected nodes as required. This architecture leads to single point of failure when central server is down or crashes or gets hacked. To overcome this problem, we have proposed a Chaincode-based framework to secure patient health information in hospital environment. Chaincode is a smart contract program which gets executed on Hyperledger Fabric Blockchain network automatically. A Chaincode stores the information in decentralized digital ledger and creates a secured and private blockchain network with trusted nodes and provide data visibility, data security, and data transparency with respect to patient health record at any time. Predictive model based on Machine Learning for the Supply Chain and its influence on the logistics management of car sales company 基于机器学习的供应链预测模型及其对汽车销售公司物流管理的影响

Without a doubt one of the greatest strengths that a country has is the production and exportation of raw materials and also finished products, but none of this would be possible without an optimized and automated supply chain in relation to logistics management, what this research aims to do is to present a smart supply chain model through a predictive algorithm of machine learning. After applying the predictive model, the obtained result showed that sales increased according to the type of car; Sedan 48.60%, Wagon 11.73% and Hatchback 32.52%. On the other hand, it is also observed that there is a marked relationship between variables 1 and 2 of 80.2%, and it is also observed that there is a relationship between variables 1 and 3 of 78.9%, and we also observed a relationship between variables 2 and 3 of 82.3%.

An Application of Newsvendor Model on Pipe Stringing Operations of a Gas Pipeline Construction Project 报贩模型在某输气管道工程管柱施工中的应用

With the increasingly fierce market competition, enterprises must maintain their invincible position through continuous improve-ment, innovation, and optimization of their operations to save cost and maximize profit. In this article, the authors introduce a resource allocation technique for a long-distance gas pipeline construction project. Through the introduction of the newsvendor model, the optimal resource allocation, workforce, and equipment, on the pipeline stringing operations, which makes the welding crew perform its functions are the crucial tactic of the operation manager. The idea of this study is to adopt the concept of the newsvendor model for trading between overstock cost and understock cost of gas pipe transportation management. The result of applying has shown that the model provided the optimal control of the pipeline stringing operation in which concern to the uncertainty of relevant factors. In this case study, the total cost is $760.13 per day compared to the total cost of the traditional method, delivering the pipes at an average quantity, which is $1,587.22 per day. As a result, the newsvendor model could save the company money by 52.11% on supply chain and logistics operations. Furthermore, the newsvendor model does not only provide a simple optimization technique but also shows a guide to businesses to think about applying other optimization tools to their business processes and manufacturing processes.

An Exploratory Study of Identifying Critical Success Factors for Customer Preferences in Medical Tourism Supply Chain using MAXQDA 2022 基于MAXQDA的医疗旅游供应链客户偏好关键成功因素识别的探索性研究

∗ Medical tourism is one of the significant industries that drive the economies of countries and leads other domestic business sectors to grow parallelly. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the critical success factors for customer preferences in the Thai medical tourism supply chain. A semi-structured interview was chosen to collect data from ten rich experienced practitioners from JCI (Joint Commission International) accredited hospitals in Thailand. Researchers employed a qualitative approach based on the interpretivism philosophy to gain current facts of customers’ preferences and insights from dynamic phenomena within the medical tourism industry. Researchers employed a thematic analysis approach to classifying the factors by adopting MAXQDA 2022. MAXQDA 2022 is selected as the efficient qualitative software to rigorously analyze and display the results. The finding from this research provides medical tourism policymakers and its stakeholders build awareness of 10 critical success factors affecting the growth of the Thai medical tourism industry and enable them to take potential actions in advance for potential medical tourists in the future.
