Ensuring Quality of High-Speed IO Interfaces through System Level Test 通过系统级测试确保高速IO接口的质量

In new process nodes, high-speed IO interfaces marginality caused by analog defects are resulting in a noticeable increase in customer detectable defects per million. Performance variation and signal integrity degradation become greater as high-speed IO data rates increases. In addition, printed circuit board manufacturing and environmental variances can cause increase in channel loss, cross talk, and channel discontinuities which result in increased system noise, deteriorated jitter performance and signal eye closure. The lane margining feature can help system designers assess their design's performance variation tolerance early in the design and production cycle by obtaining margin information. The same feature can be used in production Test. This paper describes new methodology used on few products to screen for marginal IO defects using System Level Test (SLT) platform.

Software System for Modeling Temperature Distribution During the Electron Beam Welding 电子束焊接温度分布建模软件系统

Now, electron beam welding (EBW) has become widespread in the manufacture of aerospace products. However, to achieve a stable quality of the weld and the required geometric dimensions, it is necessary to set the appropriate technological parameters, which causes difficulties when commissioning a new product from another alloy or purchasing welding equipment (in particular, an electron beam welding equipment; an electron beam gun with a different accelerating voltage from used). At the same time, there are the following most common technological problems that are encountered in the production of thin-walled structures for aerospace purposes: (1) root defects; (2) the absence of computational models of the EBW process. The authors of this work propose to develop a software system that will allow: (1) to simulate the process of electron beam welding for almost any products and alloys, which will make it possible to determine the optimal technological parameters and, therefore, prevent root defects; (2) to simplify the EBW modeling process, in comparison with such systems as MATLAB, ANSYS and Comsol, in which the EBW modeling process is complicated by the features of these programs, the requirements for knowledge of calculation models, the ability to program them and the creation of a product sketch in CAD systems. The software system proposed by the authors will make it possible to simplify the modeling process, reduce the time of modeling the EBW process, considering the thermophysical and geometric characteristics of the product, store both the results of the developed technological process and the simulation results. Thus, the software system developed by the authors for modeling the temperature distribution in the process of electron beam welding will prevent the technological problems encountered in production and obtain a stable quality of the weld in the process of electron beam welding.

Development of a nano-bioplatform for SARS-CoV-2 specific antigens detection SARS-CoV-2特异性抗原检测纳米生物平台的研制

Lateral Flow Immunoassay (LFIA) has been employed for the development of rapid, low-cost, and relatively simple devices for Covid-19 diagnosis. The proposed approach reports the use of the antibody labeled by Gold nanoparticles for the simultaneous detection of Nucleocapsid protein and Spike protein. A comparison with the results obtained by conventional analytical methods (PCR) has been considered in a significant number of nasopharyngeal swabs; 48 and 26 samples from positive and negative individuals respectively. This research provides the basis for the development of a more efficient antigenic test for SARS-Co V-2 detection as a low-cost and quick pre-screening tool.

BPA detection nanoplatforms: toward an eco-friendly and cost-effective strategy 双酚a检测纳米平台:朝着环保和成本效益的策略

BPA is a chemical compound found in many food containers, including baby bottles. It is an endocrine disruptor that may cause many health risks. This work aims to show a comparative study for the detection of BPA using on one side, commercialized silver nanoparticles/f-MWCNT/GCE nanoplatform, and on the other side, green AgNPs from Moringa Oleifera plant extract /functionalized MWCNT/GCE nanoplatform. Both nanoplatforms showed good performances in terms of limit of detection, reproducibility and repeatability. A reduction in cost and environmentally friendly strategy were provided using biosynthesized AgNPs compared to commercialized silver nanoparticles.

Accurate Real-Time Face Mask Detection Framework Using YOLOv5 基于YOLOv5的精确实时人脸检测框架

After the COVID-19 pandemic, wearing a mask has become a must because it decreases the probability of infection by 68%. That is why a fast and accurate automatic mask detection is crucial to public institutions. In this paper, we present an accurate framework for real-time mask detection using YOLOv5 object detection algorithm. Our framework consists of four stages: image preprocessing by normalization and adding noise, adding negative samples and data augmentation then the detection core based on a modified version of YOLOv5. The proposed framework achieves 95.9% precision and 84.8% mean average precision using the Face Mask Detection dataset with a 10 milliseconds inference time.

Dynamic errors of broadband Chebyshev bandpass filters switched on at the ADC input in automatic control systems 自动控制系统中ADC输入端接通宽带切比雪夫带通滤波器的动态误差

The dynamic errors of band-pass filters (BPF) of the n-th order, consisting of series-connected low-pass filters (LPF) of the Chebyshev type of the n-th order with a cutoff frequency of the amplitude-frequency characteristic (AFC) of the filter $boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SH}}$ and high-pass filters (HPF) of the Chebyshev type are investigated n-th order with the cutoff frequency of the frequency response of the filter $boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SH}}$. It is shown that the dynamic errors of the nth order BPF are determined by the cutoff frequency $boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SH}}$ of the LPF and significantly depend on the frequency ratio $boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SB}}/boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SH}}$. As a result of the simulation, the delay times of the BPF were determined, which negatively affect the effective capacity of the ADC. Approximating equations for the dynamic error of the BPF as a function of the parameters $mathbf{n}, omega_{text{SH}}$ and $boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SB}}/boldsymbol{omega}_{text{SH}}$ are obtained. Estimates of the maximum dynamic error for filters of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd orders, as well as the errors of the proposed approximation are given.

Development of neural network based numerical platform for nanoplastics discrimination in water 基于神经网络的水中纳米塑料判别数值平台的开发

Electrochemical sensors could be employed as digital equipment and systems to measure samples. As a result, computational modeling is necessary as well as experimental results. In the current work, our electrochemical sensor is fabricated by the binding of silver nanoparticles (AgNps) to glassy carbon electrode (GCE) combined with the multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural network. The sensitivity of our sensor, also the repeatability, the reproducibility, and the stability were all demonstrated, with minimal preparation cost. The developed electrochemical sensor was also applied to determine phenolic compounds in real samples of mineral and tap water. The MLP model was created using the findings of the experimental studies. The current and the concentration of each species, were the input and output parameters, respectively. The results of MLP modeling were consistent with the studies, indicating that it could be effective in electrochemical sensor technology.

3D Wideband Channel Characterization Using Ray-based Technique 基于射线技术的三维宽带信道表征

To improve the performance of industrial processes, it has become crucial to properly model wireless channels in industrial settings. This enables a means of new applications including building control and industrial automation and integration. The paper presents a comprehensive 3D indoor industrial channel characterization to represent the IEEE 802.15.4a channel model CM 7. Using a ray-based recipe, this is achieved by considering a general wave with horizontal and vertical polarizations. The field evaluation is performed ray-by-ray and is thus affected by the transfer functions of both the transmitting and receiving antennas. In addition, a deterministic procedure to evaluate the magnitude and phase of the voltage captured by each receiving antenna in a 3D wideband massive MIMO channel is proposed. The channel conditioning is evaluated via the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of both the channel matrix singular value spread (SVS) and the correlation coefficient among users' channels, and the sum-rate capacity. The assessment is carried out by using a uniform rectangular array (URA) and a uniform linear array (ULA) at the base station. It is found that URAs provide enhanced channel conditioning and therefore higher capability for spatial separation of users' channels is guaranteed with respect to analogous ULAs. Moreover, due to the improved spatial diversity of the URAs, constructed by combining two orthogonal ULAs, the achieved sum-rate for a URA setup is higher than that for the corresponding ULA. The implemented 3D ray tracing scheme is simple, modular and shows a full agreement with the experimental results in the literature.

Olive Leaf Disease Identification Framework using Inception V3 Deep Learning 使用Inception V3深度学习的橄榄叶病识别框架

Olive has great economic and health benefits. However, it is susceptible to be infected with many diseases that cause damage to the harvested crop. Aceria Oleae is a mite that feeds on the growing points in the leaves and significantly inhibits the olive tree growth. Aceria Oleae causes leaves deformation that is known as Aculus Olearius disease. Whereas peacock spot is a fungal disease caused by Castagne fungus (Venturia Oleaginea). Peacock spot causes premature falling of the leaves and may lead to serious crop losses in the case of strong defoliation. Early detection of such diseases allows the farmers to take the appropriate countermeasures. In this paper, we present a deep learning framework based on Inception V3for the identification of olive leaf diseases. The proposed framework achieves accuracy of 96.66% which outperforms the related literature.

Raised Cosine Multicore Fibers For High-Density Space Division Multiplexing (H-DSDM) Systems 用于高密度空分复用(H-DSDM)系统的高余弦多芯光纤

Space division multiplexing (SDM) over multicore few mode fibers (MC-FMFs) is considered among the latest technological drive towards high data rates in next generation optical communication systems. In this paper, we propose and design novel (MC-FMFs) that we refer to as raised cosine multicore fibers MC-RCFs and Trenched-raised cosine multicore Fibers (MC-TRCFs). the designed MCFs has seven cores each of which supports seven orthogonal spatial modes with large effective mode area (min AeJ J =96μm2) and with low differential mode delay (DMD) (max DMD =33 pskm). The intercore crosstalk of each designed fiber and their associated relative core multiplicity factor (RCMF) are assessed, discussed and compared with recently reported MCFs. The designed fibers are promising candidates for next generation short and medium haul interconnect dense-SDM systems.
