Serial production of superconducting (SC) magnets for the Nuclotron Ion-based fAcility (NICA) and Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) projects is currently underway at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, Russia [1]. SC-coil electrical parameters should be checked before each stage of assembling and cryogenic testing to avoid faults, such as inter-turn short circuit and insulation failure. A system for checking of SC-magnets electrical parameters is described in this paper. The results obtained by this system are presented and outlined.

We present a study of ω(782) and φ (1020) mesons mixing in the framework of the chiral Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model. The decay φ → π0γ is considered as a basic process to determine mixing angle. The width of the decay φ → 3π and the cross-section of the process e+e− → π0φ are calculated in the satisfactory agreement with experimental data. A predictions for semileptonic decays φ → π0[e+e−, μ+μ−] are given.

This paper presents the theoretical analysis of neutron transfer mechanism for the reaction 181Ta(18O, 19O) at energies 81.86 and 90.05 MeV in the center of mass system. Numerical solution of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation is used for studying neutron transfer processes. The evolution of the wave function for the neutron from the uppermost occupied single-particle neutron level of the 181Ta nucleus is determined. The dynamics of neutron transfer process is described and the probabilities of occupation of initially unoccupied single-particle neutron levels of the 18O nucleus are determined.

The Spin Physics Detector (SPD) is a planned set-up for spin physics research at one of the two interaction points at the Nuclotron-based Ion Collider fAcility (NICA) that is under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. Effective studying of the nucleon spin structure in colliding polarized proton beams is possible with the pp collision luminosity L = = 1x1032cm−2s−1 at the energy range of Ecm = 27 GeV. Reaching of necessary level of the luminosity is connected with the accumulation n ~2x1013 particles in each of the collider rings and solving the problems of stable beam dynamics. Building of the collider ring impedance model is necessary step for determining at the design stage possible limitations on the stored beam intensity, and reducing the influence of the impedance effect on the beam dynamics.

We analyze the possibility to discover the production of a Higgs boson in association with a single top quark at the LHC. Such process is strongly suppressed in the Standard Model. An observation of this production mode would be an unambiguous indication of the New Physics providing an important insight on the nature of the Higgs mechanism. The production is sensitive to the relative sign of the coupling parameters describing Higgs interaction with fermions and gauge bosons. Our analysis considers single top quark production via t-channel using Higgs boson decays to a bottom quark-antiquark pair and semileptonic top quark decays. We present a Monte-Carlo study of the pp → Hbq process and discuss the experimental signatures that can help to discover it at the LHC. Two scenarios have been considered, the Standard Model case and the Inverted Top Coupling scenario.

In this talk we are going to discuss recent results on non-Abelian vortex strings in four-dimensional (4D) N = 2 supersymmetric QCD with U(N = 2) gauge group and Nf = 4 flavors of quark hypermultiplets. It has been recently shown that these vortices behave as critical superstrings. In particular, the lowest string state appears to be a massless BPS “baryon.” Here we confirm the existence of this stringy baryon using purely field-theoretic methods. To this end we study the conformal world-sheet theory on the non-Abelian string – the so called weighted N = (2, 2) supersymmetric CP model. Then we use the 2D-4D correspondence to show that a marginal deformation of the target space is associated with the emergence of a non-perturbative Higgs branch in 4D theory which opens up at strong coupling. The modulus parameter on this Higgs branch is the vacuum expectation value of the massless BPS “baryon” previously found in string theory. Moreover, we explicitly demonstrate the occurrence of the so-called “instead-of-confinement” phase. Based on the talk given at the XXIV International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS-2020).

Azimuthal anisotropy of produced particles is one of the important observables sensitive to the transport properties of the strongly interacting matter created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. In this work, we report on the calculations of elliptic flow (v2) of identified charged hadrons produced in Au+Au collisions at sNN=4.5−200 Gev from a viscous hydro+cascade hybrid model vHLLE+UrQMD and provide the direct comparison with published results from STAR and PHENIX experiments. The results would be useful as predictions for the upcoming beam energy scan experiments at NICA Collider.

The gauge model SU (2)L × U (1) with extension of the lepton sector by right sterile Majorana neutrinos is considered. A block diagonalization of the total mass matrix 6 × 6 of light (active) and sterile neutrinos is performed for the general form of the mixing matrix in the sterile neutrino sector. Production rates and distributions for pTN and yN for processes pp → Nl± and pp → NV were studied including gluon fusion gg → h*/Z* → NV at s=13 Tev LHC energy.

Evaluations of nuclear binding energies are obtained, and proton and neutron drip lines are localized using method of local mass relations. The formula describing the residual neutron-proton interaction is approximated and used to obtain estimates. Results based on several compilations of experimental data are obtained to confirm the robustness of the method. In addition, results for binding energies of superheavy nuclei are obtained by machine learning method based on support vector regression. Binding energies of several neighbouring nuclei are used as input parameters. Comparison with other works estimates shows reliable accuracy of the results.
