SOME REMARKS ABOUT THE OBLIQUITY FACTOR USING IN THE KIRCHHOFF DIFFRACTION THEORY 关于基尔霍夫衍射理论中使用的斜度因子的一些评论

In the framework of the work the description of sphere wave filed in the far observation region is discussed. Theconsideration is based on the decomposition of the wave field over the longitudinal and transverse spatial parameters ofthe problem in the direction of observation. It is shown that the approximation of a sphere wave by the flat field iscorrect only if the consideration is conducted in the limit of solid angle. The magnitude of the solid angle, whichincludes the area of flatness of the spherical wave, is determined using the so-called wave parameters corresponding tothe observation area and the illuminated point.The wave field created by a small flat area is defined as a limit case of a superposition field generated by a system ofpoint sources. It is shown that in an observation point the wave field of a small flat area can be characterized by theangle between the area normal and the vector indicting from the given area the observation point. The problem ofdescription of a wave filed in the framework of a small flat aria is also discussed. A new method for deriving of thewell-known obliquity factor of the Kirchhoff diffraction theory is suggested.

AGRICULTURAL AND HEALTH-RELATED PERSPECTIVES OF LYCIUM BARBARUM L. INTRODUCTION 枸杞的农业和健康相关视角 导言

The introduction of the Lycium barbarum (LbL) plant variety to the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh,considering soil and climate conditions along with phytotechnology of cultivation, resulted in the preservation ofits growth and development stages without significant alterations. The plant successfully formed fruits andmaintained biochemical content typical of its natural habitat. This suggests that the flora could benefit from theaddition of this new, promising plant species, which possesses medicinal and preventive properties, nutritionalvalue for both humans and animals, and potential for enhancing ecological environments through various meanssuch as greening of bare slopes, ornamental gardening, and roadside plantings. Furthermore, LbL exhibits frostresistance, drought resistance, and low agrochemical requirements for soil. The discovery of germanium in thebiomass of LbL fruits and leaves, and its correlation with environmental and cultivation conditions, implies thatthe concentration of this anti-tumor element in the plant material can be regulated.

A NEW APPROACH FOR SOLVING ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS 求解常微分方程的一种新方法

A new method for solving ordinary differential equations is suggested. As it is shown the differential equation can be solved not only by means of integration its differentiation as well. The developed method is applied for consideration of corresponding equations for the exponential and trigonometric functions. In the framework of the developed method the simple approach for derivation of Taylor series of a function is demonstrated. Based on the geometric definition the connections between trigonometric functions and their derivatives are obtained as well. The well-known Euler formula is also produced, which establishes a connection between trigonometric and exponential functions.

BENCHMARKING DATA OF GROMACS: GPU AND GROMACS VERSION 对标数据:gpu和gromacs版本

The parallel scaling of GROMACS package has been studied in detail by estimation the performance of machine in presence of new generation graphical cards. This paper aims to estimate the speedup and performance issues depending on GROMACS network parametrics and as well as the version. The obtained results show that depending on threads/MPI ratio the new version of GROMACS plays rather good than previous one, meanwhile there are cases when the performance values are nearly same. The presence of GPU is significantly increasing the performance scaling up to ten time acceleration. Pinning threads to cores guaranties up to 15-35% increase.

ABOUT HEAVY METAL ACCUMULATION POTENTIAL OF SOME EVERGREEN TREES IN GREEN SPACES OF YEREVAN (ARMENIA) 亚美尼亚埃里温绿地常绿乔木重金属积累潜力研究

This article presents the final research on the study the metal accumulation potential of two evergreen species Thuja occidentalis L. and Juniperus virginiana involved in the green infrastructure of Yerevan-Armenia’s capital city. We studied the condition of both evergreen species, seasonal variations of heavy metal contents in their needle at the end of summer and winter, and the bio concentration factor of plants. The decreased longevity shows that both studied evergreen species are inappropriate for planting in the streets with heavy traffic or close to industrial pollution sources.

Nowadays, it is hard to imagine any scientific team engaged in only one scientific discipline. The best confirmations of that statement are recent years’ Nobel Prize winners in chemistry, physics, and biology. The study of those subjects starts in school. Thus it is crucial to provide interdisciplinary connections to students from the early years. To achieve that we tried to provide methods based on interdisciplinary connections for solving several types of problems. In the article, well-known concepts of Mathematics and Physics are used to solve complex chemical problems.

ORNITHOLOGICAL RESEARCH IN THE MID REACHES OF THE ARAKS RIVER IN ARMENIA 亚美尼亚阿拉克河中游鸟类学研究

The Araks River is the main water artery in Armenia sharing a nearly 150 km border with Turkey. Its mid reaches historically served important passage grounds for migratory waterbirds. However, the left banks of the Araks River within its border strip have not been surveyed since the late 1960s due to restricted access. The research aimed to survey the species diversity of waterbirds and their habitats preferences along the river shoreline. In 2020 and 2021, a total of 55 waterbird species from 13 families have been observed. Their abundance peaked in summer and declined in midwinter which was due to reduced habitat availability during these seasons in the Ararat valley. The current research revealed that despite nesting grounds for waterbirds are limited along the length of the shoreline, the river continues to provide important stopover and foraging grounds for diverse groups of waterbirds before and during the periods of migration.

INTERFERENCE PATTERN OF THE WAVE FIELD OF TWO SOURCES IN THE NEAR FIELD OF OBSERVATION 两源波场在近场观测中的干涉图样

The paper considers the problem of an approximate wave field in the so-called near, middle and far zones of observation. The possibility of introducing a more accurate than the Fresnel approximation, the so-called quasi-exact approximation, is indicated. For the interference problem usually considered in the Fresnel approximation, the intensity distribution in the near field of observation is obtained. It is shown that the positions of intensity maxima in the near zone of observation are determined by a cubic equation.

The Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) is the world's most widely distributed avian predator, which also inhabits various natural ecosystems of Armenia. In the past, the Peregrines faced a dramatic decline in the mid-20th century being affected by pesticides used in agriculture and forestry. Today, in Armenia, the species is rather vulnerable from the pollution of mining industry, municipal dumps, pollution by pesticides, and potentially, from illegal trade for falconry, therefore its population needs proper assessment. Population modeling is one of the novel and precise assessment methods, which can serve for more effective species conservation. The existing estimation of Peregrine’s population in Armenia was not based on a comprehensive model, which considers such aspects as food sources, potential risks, and actual threats. Thus, in our study, we have developed and tested a model, which includes the following parameters that potentially can impact the population’s growth and reduction: nest competitors, food competitors, potential prey species, juvenile predators, poachers, and pesticides used to manage forest pests. Modeling of Peregrine’s population in Armenia was conducted using Euler’s method in frames of the STELLA package. The model demonstrated a decrease of Peregrine Falcons’ population in the south of Syunik with its potential vanishing in the next 25 years. The field observations confirmed the predicted decline in some extent.
