This research focuses on the development of a temperature monitoring device for chicken coops and chicken feed, which is essential in the poultry industry. The device is designed to address specific conditions in the livestock industry that cannot be manually handled by humans. The design methodology involves software development using object modeling (UML), hardware design through circuit schematics, and the construction of the device. The device utilizes HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and DHT11 sensor to measure humidity and temperature inside the chicken coop. Testing is conducted to measure the chicken feed supply using the ultrasonic sensor, as well as the humidity and temperature inside the chicken coop using the DHT11 sensor. The final outcome of this research is the implementation of a temperature monitoring device for chicken coops and chicken feed that functions according to the needs of poultry farmers. The Arduino Nano microcontroller is integrated with an SMS gateway device as an intermediary to transmit programmed process instructions as text messages containing real-time information.

Electricity is one of the essential needs for human life, as almost every activity humans engage in involves the use of electric energy. The advancement of technology in the field of computers has enabled humans to have a forward-thinking mindset in the application of electronic devices. The development of sophisticated technology that can remotely control household electronic devices such as lights using the Internet of Things (IoT) aims to save electrical energy used in each home. IoT serves as a transmission medium for embedded computing devices that are individually identified within the internet infrastructure. The control system in this research is designed through the relay circuit control method using the Arduino ATmega328 microcontroller as the central control unit of the system. It is supported by the ESP8266 WiFi module, which functions as a communication tool between the microcontroller and the wide-ranging interconnection network via WiFi, collaborating through a user interface design for an Android-based application.

The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various fields, both through the use of electronics and mobile devices, as well as the easily developed Android operating system. However, the current vehicle security systems are still inadequate in ensuring the safety of vehicles, especially concerning criminal activities such as theft and robbery. To address this issue, the idea of implementing a telephone facility through research has emerged, aiming to design and create a prototype of a start engine and motorcycle alarm system using the Arduino microcontroller based on Android. The purpose of this research is to reduce the frequency of crimes that occur through tampering with vehicle contacts, with the expectation that the implementation of an improved security system will lead to a decrease in vehicle theft cases and provide better protection for vehicle owners.

Hands are one of the potential mediums for viruses to enter the body during daily activities, so handwashing is one way to prevent the entry of viruses into the body. Using a hand sanitization device is one alternative. An automatic hand sanitization device can be useful in encouraging people to wash their hands without having to touch the device itself, which is usually done manually by pressing to dispense the soap. By planning and creating an automated hand sanitization system based on Arduino integrated with an ultrasonic sensor, this provides a solution to detect objects around the container. Consequently, the servo motor component will work automatically as a lever presser on the soap container pump. The hand sanitization device is programmed using simple instructions, and its performance will help the community prevent the entry of viruses by cleaning their hands after activities without having to touch the soap container.

Baby cribs typically require human effort to swing, which can be time-consuming and exhausting if done manually by a person continuously. Hence, the idea emerged to design a prototype device that can automatically swing the baby crib, helping to ease the mother's task, just like cradling a baby. The purpose of this prototype device is to lighten the burden of mothers who often become fatigued when soothing their children and then need to leave them in a calm state to attend other activities. This device can automatically swing the crib triggered by the sound of a crying baby, which will be detected by a sound sensor and processed by the ATmega328 microcontroller on Arduino. Subsequently, Arduino commands the servo motor to activate and swing the baby crib. Having this device will provide benefits in assisting a mother to soothe her baby while still being able to carry out other activities.

Charity boxes provided in many public places today still use locks such as master locks or padlocks. The rampant cases of theft of charity boxes occur repeatedly because charity boxes are easily broken into and even transported by thieves. The absence of a double security system is an obstacle for charity box managers. Realizing the design concept of a double security system for charity boxes using several electronic components such as fingerprint sensors and methods of sending notifications will minimize the occurrence of the crime of theft or burglary of charity boxes. The security device design architecture is made using the notification method in the form of notifications via short messages using a communication device, namely the SIM800L serial module as a transmission medium for sending short message text data if irregularities are found in the charity box. This charity box security system uses an authorization system for managers who are entitled to be registered with the device in the form of a cellular number. The microcontroller control board plays an important role in processing various instructions so as to produce output information on the screen that is installed in the charity box to display access information when the device is working. Another feature of this tool is that it is equipped with a buzzer component as a warning sign in the form of a sound if an activity process is not recognized it will ring loudly according to the conditions. A security system like this will provide a solution and increase security in the storage of charity boxes so managers can feel comfortable.

The average time spent indoors while working or doing activities tends to be long. A room needs a sense of comfort to support activities in the room. A comfortable room is not only influenced by attractive furniture and decorations, but the smell in the room is one of the most important factors to make residents feel comfortable when they are in it. Rooms that give off an unpleasant odor can come from bacteria that have long settled on decorative items and can cause an unnatural smell and disturb comfort. Therefore, a tool is needed to neutralize odors in unpleasant room conditions with an air freshener that can work automatically, so that the room smells good at all times and is consistent with the tool's working time. To overcome this, this study aims to design and build an automatic air freshener based on Arduino Uno using the Real Time Clock (RTC) module.

A room needs a sense of comfort to support activities in the room. A comfortable room is not only influenced by attractive furniture and decorations, but the smell in the room is one of the most important factors to make residents feel comfortable when they are in it. Rooms that give off an unpleasant odor can come from bacteria that have long settled on decorative items and can cause an unnatural smell and disturb comfort. Therefore, a tool is needed to neutralize odors in unpleasant room conditions with an air freshener that can work automatically, so that the room smells good at all times and is consistent with the tool's working time. It is very important to pay attention to the management of electrical devices in spaces for human activity related to the specified time when the time is on and when it is off to avoid wasting energy using wasted energy. There are several procedures for managing electricity that has been implemented using renewable technology in the current era of industrial trends 4.0, including controlling lights and other electrical devices. In general, light control uses manual procedures by turning on the switch directly, starting from offices, shopping centers, public places and others. In this modern era, it is possible for humans to use technological updates by changing the use of light switches to become automatic using a microcontroller control board and a wifi module as a transmission medium that is integrated with the web as a portal for monitoring light points installed in a building or facilities. general. This study aims to obtain new habits of the community regarding the use of automatic light control devices in order to save on the cost of using electricity. This change is also beneficial for everyone who is outside the house in their daily life, so they don't have to go home when they want to turn on the lights. By using the website platform, electrical devices located in different rooms can be controlled via cell phones and can also be controlled via computers or gadgets.

Congestion has become a significant problem for road users, in particular, the occurrence of queues at intersections. Traffic lights have an important role related to the control system to regulate road users so that they are orderly in every queue at the crossroads. The current traffic light control system still uses a static timing system, so to solve this problem an innovation is needed in the form of making a traffic light monitoring device at a five-lane intersection using a web-based microcontroller as the input used to control road user traffic lights. The design of this tool uses a module with the ESP8266 series as a module capable of managing and sending data via internet media, by installing three LEDs each on five lanes which will be processed automatically, equipped with a buzzer component as a marker where traffic light signs are placed. . The circuit will be controlled using an Arduino type microcontroller with the ATmega2560 series. The results of the tests carried out show that the website that has been made can control LEDs, with a buzzer as a marker of information regarding the state of the traffic light, it can work with related provisions at intersections.

Communication is a very important factor to avoid misunderstanding, with communication it will be easy to understand what is meant between the object of introduction and the recipient of information. However, communication is still an obstacle for those who carry out underwater activities such as diving. Many ordinary divers do not understand the diver's signal code which will be a problem because of the difficulty in communicating if something happens that requires them to carry out information sharing activities underwater. Innovation is needed to be implemented, namely research that is able to facilitate divers to communicate underwater the same as using diver sign language. The purpose of this research is to design a wireless data transfer tool that can be used underwater by utilizing the Arduino microcontroller control board as a data processing component supported by an infrared sensor as a transmitting medium which aims to capture infrared light waves as a wireless communication medium. The marker components such as LEDs and LCDs indicate and display information from the processing results when data is successfully received and sent. The power distribution uses low voltage currents to carry out the performance of wireless data transfers underwater with the results of safe test criteria while the device is working in water.
