Recently, several studies on the application of organic-mineral fertilizers (OMF), based on sapropel and peat), were carried out in Middle East countries. The OMF named “Sapro Agro” (manufactured by LLC LATPOWER, Riga, Latvia) was tested in Saudi Arabia in organic agriculture, as a fertilizer as well as a soil conditioner, while the study of the OMF named “Humin Plus” was conducted in Jordan. Results of the effects of Humin Plus on the pre-treatment of soil in greenhouses showed that yield increased 24%. The study of the effects of Humin Plus on cucumbers in greenhouses showed yield increased by 31%. An experiment on plants which are lagging behind in their development caught up and surpassed other plants in appearance when treated with Humin Plus. Also, researches in Jordan showed that Humin Plus was very effective in the early stages of fruiting and the optimal application rate of this OMF in this case was 1 ltr/10000 m2. In Jordan, several experiments were conducted with Sapro Agro and Sapro Elixir, which were mixed with mineral fertilizer (Kama-Eco+) at a ratio of 50/50. Results of these experiments showed that yield increased 28-35%.

Precision farming technology depends on accurate zoning of agricultural fields so that proper management applications can be imposed. Many existing methods for zoning of agricultural fields are based on the use of complex parameters, which includes both topographic yield data and soil characteristics. Utilization of these methods is dependent on relating the assessment of the significance of each of these parameters to the productivity of specific zones found in the field. In this paper, a new method for assessing the significance of the parameters affecting productivity is elaborated in combination with existing method for zoning of agricultural fields.

In the early 60-ies among the leading Russian agricultural physicists was discussion about what is agrophysics. A.F. Chudnovsky, outstanding the thermal and agricultural physicist, participated in this discussion. He wrote a book, which sets out his vision of problem (Chudnovsky, 1963). A. F. Chudnovsky clarified that "Like any new science, standing at the crossroads of many interrelated disciplines the agrophysics continues to develop, and its content is still clarified. This situation is largely explained by the fact that there are very many and varied allied sciences, on which it is based". Value of this book for the modern understanding of definition and scope of agrophysics is undoubted.

Traditionally decision of agrophysics problems was evaluated with problem-oriented models. Utilization of fuzzy computing gives new dimension for agrophsics. It is well known that in agricultural sciences there exists much fuzzy knowledge, that is, knowledge which is vague, imprecise, uncertain, ambiguous, inexact, or probabilistic in nature. Fuzzy Computing is power tools for dealing with randomness and uncertainties. This paper reviews exploitation of fuzzy computing in agrophysics. The emphasis is on the achievements of Agrophysical Research Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia, especially in the fields of soil tillage, crop management, precision agriculture, melioration, and agricultural engineering.

Microfertilizer called as «HUMIN PLUS» (the German patent application 10 2012 100 315.7 dd. 15.01.2012 «Reagent-free mode of getting reception humus containing suspensions of the raised biological efficacy from connatural raw materials (sapropel, peat and organic waste - chicken manure), and production on the basis of its organic and organic mineral fertilizers for ecological and traditional farming») is the fast-acting and cost-effective micro fertilizers with multifunctional actions. Recently, several tests of microfertilizer HUMIN PLUS were conducted in different climatic conditions and in different countries. Testing shown, that increase yield is equal to 12 - 32 % (for sugar beet), 18 - 27 % (for corn), 30 -36 % (potato), 24 - 28 % (for organic potato), 23 - 25 % (for winter wheat), 18 -22 % (for spring wheat), 18 - 25 % (for tomato), 15 -20 % (for barley), 45 -55 % (for canola), ), and 30 -36 % (for soy). Research using special program indicated that HUMIN PLUS corresponds to German laws on the quality of fertilizers.

Data evaluation of investigations of soil contamination by heavy metals is very important for decision of regional planning problems. In this study utilization of fuzzy set theory for interpretation of data of investigations of soil contamination by heavy metals is presented. Several simple fuzzy indicator models are elaborated. Case of the use of linguistic variables is discussed. Utilization of triangular fuzzy numbers (TFN) for assessment of soil contamination by heavy metals is developed. The theoretical consideration is illustrated by simple examples.

The use of environmentally friendly organic-mineral fertilizers of humin nature has led to considerable interest in many fields of agronomy. In this paper, the fuzzy multi attributive decision-making tool was used to evaluate the influence of the organic-mineral fertilizers "Stimulayf" and “Humate Sodium” on the growth of Dracocephalum L. The analysis was performed in two ways: 1) evaluating applications of Stimulayf and Humate Sodium using crop characteristics, and 2) evaluating applications of Stimulayf and Humate Sodium, using both crop characteristics and economic parameters. In the first method, alternative 17 (К-8 + St-L (2009)was ranked the best alternative. The second rank was alternative 13 (К-8 (2007)). Alternative 22 (К-10 (2009))was ranked the worst. In the second method, alternative 10(К-7 + Hum-Na)was rankedthe best followed by alternative 7 (К-8 + St-L). Alternative 4 (К-10) had the lowest rank using this method.

Application of microfertilizer HUMIN PLUS in combination with magnetic treatments of seed and water was evaluated. By using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), several fuzzy inference system (FIS) were built to define the contiguous relationships between the energy of seed germination, different HUMIN PLUS solution concentrations, and magnetic treatment of seeds and water. Results from ANFIS simulations gave reasonable results, offering a feasible alternative to more traditional statistical techniques for evaluation of relations between characteristics of seed germination energy, emulsion of sapropel concentrations, magnetic treatment of seeds and water, and time after sowing.

An assessment of the quality climatological information plays an important role in evaluating climate change processes. Such an evaluation is particularly important for generating precise climatological maps. This paper introduces a concept of evaluating the quality of climatological maps based on a fuzzy logic approach. The developed methodology was used for assessing climatological map quality for the Karelia region in Russia. By utilizing a map fuzzy indicator, every climatological map evaluated provided a better assessment of the quality of thematic climatological map data.
