ANALISIS KESESUAIAN LAHAN UNTUK USAHA GARAM INDUSTRI DI WILAYAH PESISIR KABUPATEN PANGKAJENE DAN KEPULAUAN

The purpose of this study is to find suitable pond areas for salt ponds. Modeling in GIS,site selection studies are appropriate for industrial salt farms. Geographic InformationSystem modeling can predict ponds that are appropriate and not appropriate for industrialsalt ponds. The model used in this study is the index model. In Suharyadi and Danoedoro(2004) explained that index modeling involves the use of scores for each different category.this model can be applied to GIS Vector or raster. Overlaying maps involves arithmeticcalculation processes, either amount, subtraction, multiplication or division. The index orscore possessed by the new mapping unit on the derived map illustrates the combinedconditions of various criteria used as the basis for decision making. The results of theanalysis found that the area that was very suitable for salt ponds reached 1716.58 ha or81.97% of the area of ponds in Pangkep Regency. Areas that are not suitable for salt pondsreach 377.48 ha or reach 18.03%. from pond area. . Fishponds suitable for industrial saltfarms are found in areas close to the coastline

EFEKTIFITAS PAKAN DARI BUNGKIL KELAPA SAWIT TERHADAP SINTASAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus) 油棕菌的饲料对油棕鱼(学名Oreochromis niloticus)和生长过程的影响

Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) including the Cichlidae family from Africa. Measuring 200 -400 grams and omnivorous, it can consume vegetable and animal feed. Palm oil waste has a highenough protein so that it can be used as a source of vegetable protein in fish feed. This study aims todetermine the effectiveness of palm oil waste feed on the survival rate, growth and feed conversion oftilapia. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the number of treatments 3namely A = Palm Oil Dregs (POD) plus fine bran, B = POD plus fish meal, C = POD plus soy flour;with 3 replications. The parameters observed were survival, growth and Feed Convertion Rate (FCR).Stocking density for each tilapia 10 individuals / container. The results showed the survival oftilapia in treatments A and B gave the same results (86.66%) and treatment C (80%). The results ofanalysis of variance showed that the treatment did not significantly affect the survival of tilapia. Thegrowth parameters, both in absolute growth and growth rates of tilapia during the study showed thatthe treatment had a significant effect on the growth of tilapia and the best treatment was treatment B,while treatments A and C were not significantly different. The FCR obtained was treatment A (1.27), B(1.18) and C (1.16). The results of variance analysis showed that the treatment had no significanteffect on the tilapia FCR.

Research of the sustainability analysis of fisheries resources by using trap net in the coastal ofPangkep Regency was conducted on August to October 2018 in the coastal zone of pangkep Regency.This research aims to 1) Analyze the location of trap net fishing areas, (2) Analyze environmentalfriendliness of trap net, (3) Analyze the sustainability of fish resources by using trap net in the coastalareas of Pangkep district. The method used was case study by following fishing operations using trapnet directly. Analyzed of the determination of the trap net installation location was used by geographicinformation systems (GIS), analyzed the selectivity of fishing gear used the formula based on theprovisions of FAO (1995), and analyzed the sustainability of fish resources used Rapfish analysis.Results of the research showed that fishing ground of using trap net covers the coastal areas ofPangkep Regency, there were four locations that have been determined based on analysis, which wereDistricts of Bungoro, Labakkang, Ma'rang, and Segeri. Trap net included in fishing gear that was notenvironmentally friendly, so it does not support the sustainability of fisheries resources. Utilization offishery resources by using a trap net in the coastal areas of Pangkep Regency is less sustainable.

In general, land use in Pasangkayu Regency is dominated by forests, both protected forestsand production forests, plantations especially oil palm plantations, mixed gardens, rice fields bothirrigated rice fields and rainfed rice fields, as well as shrubs, weeds, mangrove forests andwetlands, beaches, settlements, government buildings and other infrastructure facilities. This studyaims to (1) Know the biophysical and chemical aspects of the waters, (2) Analyze the suitability ofaquaculture land in supporting the development of aquaculture, and (3) Assess strategies fordeveloping aquaculture ponds. The results showed that (1) the biophysical and chemical aspectsof waters in coastal and marine areas, where coastal ecosystems, physical and chemical aspects ofthe waters strongly supported aquaculture activities, (2) the results of suitability of aquacultureland in the development of pond culture in Batu Oge Village Very suitable land with a land area of1,72 Ha, Adequate According to 61,07 Ha, and Appropriate 122,34 Ha. The research is entitled Utilization of coastal fisheries resources with trap net fishingequipment in the waters of Pangkep Regency. Related to that, the community uses thepotential of fish resources in the coastal waters of Pangkep Regency with a variety offishing gear, one of which is trap net (local read: tiku). Objectives are: 1) Knowing thecomposition of the type of trap net caught operated in coastal waters; 2) Knowing thelevel of environmental friendliness of the trap net fishing equipment operated in coastalwaters 3) Knowing the economic feasibility of trap net fishing equipment operated in thecoastal waters of Pangkep Regency. This research is expected to provide constructorsregarding the composition of catches in the use of Coastal Fishing Ground resourceswith net trap fishing equipment in the waters of Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi toensure access to sustainable use of fisheries resources. The study was conducted in June -December 2018 in the coastal waters of Sigeri District, Pangkep Regency. Materials andtools related directly or indirectly to research to make measurements and observations inthe field. The data needed consists of pruimer and secondary data. To achieve the goal,the data collected is carried out by analyzing fishing gear designs and analyzing thecomposition of catch species.The design of the trap net fishing gear is rectangular with avery small mesh size and the material is made of nylon (waring). The size of the trap netis 500 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. The composition of the types of trap net catchesoperated in the coastal waters of Pangkep Regency is very large and in general, fish thatmigrate daily at low tide take place.

This study aims to conduct spatial and temporal analysis of boat chart fisheries in BarruRegency by (1) mapping potential fishing areas, (2) analyzing the status of fish resource utilization inthe Boat chart in Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Regency. This research was conducted inFebruary-March 2019 in the waters of Barru Regency which is a fishing base boat chart in SumpangBinangae Village, Barru Regency. The data used are catch data and fishing location data as well asoceanographic data (sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a concentration) in February andMarch 2019 collected from the download of Satellite Images, Provincial Fisheries Service statisticsfrom 2007-2017 to Barru Regency area. Analysis of the determination of potential fishing areas withboat charts using geographic information systems (GIS), analyzing the status of utilization of fisheriesresources is used analysis of maximum sustainable potential (MSY) and optimum fishing (fopt) byanalyzing the effort of catch per unit effort (CPUE). The results showed that Sea surface temperature(SST) in February and March of small pelagic fish in the waters of Barru Regency favored warmwaters with a range of SST 28.61 oC - 29.7 oC waters and productivity of Chlorophyll-a range of0.44-0.0 94 mg / m3. The highest catch in March is in the waters of the western part of Barru Regency,which is 1391 - 2060 Kg. Utilization rate (Tp) Anchovy in the new regency in the last 10 years, namelyin 2008 - 2017 has not yet passed JTB so that its utilization still needs to be improved.

The optimum effort effort in fishing activities and the actual level of utilization of tembangfish resources in the Makassar Strait waters are increasing every day.Based on the realityconditions above, in order to increase the selling value of tembang fish to further increase theincome of fishermen, engineering research on tembang fish processing technology is needed intoseveral commercial products with more modern processing methods and can be stored in arelatively long time and sell well on standard markets. national and international.The purpose ofthis study was to find out how the practical method of processing tembang fish into canned fish,fish sauce and fish silage, is a standard home industry that has high economic value and relativelylong lasting power. The urgency of this study is expected to be a basic knowledge of thecommunity in order to increase the selling value of tembang fish as a fishery product with higheconomic value that can improve the standard of living of the community.The processing methodcarried out is a combination of traditional methods and modern methods, including methods ofcooking, fermentation, salting, enzyme use, sterilization, and packaging systems to produceprocessed products that are of high quality and have high selling value. Data analysis to becarried out for quantitative data is analysis of variance (complete randomized design) and forqualitative data observed by organoleptic test and processed by descriptive method. Processedproducts produced in this study are fish sauce, canned fish and fish silage.

Pendaratan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Beba is one of the most crowded Fish Port landing andfish market in Takalar Regency. The high trading volume and marketing of fish at PPI Beba hascaused the need for an assessment of marketing efficiency to determine the effectiveness of fishmarketing at the PPI Beba so that a Marketing Strategy can be arranged that is suitable with theconditions of fish marketing in the PPI Beba. This research was conducted from September toOctober 2018, using primary data and secondary data. The aim of this research are formulatingfish marketing strategies at the PPI Beba North Galesong District Takalar Regency. Data analysiswas carried out in several stages, namely by conducting namely by analyzing the margins anddistribution of marketing, analyzing marketing effectiveness and then conducting the S.W.O.Tanalysis method (Strengthen, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats) show that marketing marginswere still more enjoyed by retailers and collectors than those received by fishermen. In addition,the analysis showed that the marketing efficiency of fish at PPI was still quite low. The results ofanalysis using the SWOT method show the marketing strategy of fisheries production at PPI It isnecessary to pay attention to faktors that are significant to the condition of the PPI, activation ofauction (TPI), develop marketing facilities and infrastructure, develop market access, modernizetools and fishing vessels, determine pricing, capital capabilities, knowledge of fishermen rangingfrom preproduction, processing to marketing to improve the welfare of fishermen.

The increasing global market demand is an opportunity for the development and improvement of the eco-shrimp category of Penaeus monodon. The global market demands for producing eco-shrimp shrimp and the application of EAA (Ecology Aquaculture Area), initiated the establishment of the Shrimp Eco-farming Park area in Pinrang Regency. The Minapolitan Lowita area in Lanrisang Subdistrict is an expansion of the Minapolitan Lowita Area in Suppa Subdistrict, agreed upon as a development area for tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) oriented to the Shrimp Eco-farming Park in Pinrang Regency. This study aims to analyze the level of the feasibility of ponds in Lanrisang District to be reserved for the Shrimp Eco-farming Park Region of Pinrang Regency. The study was conducted in Lanrisang District, Pinrang Regency from April 2017 to March 2018. The research method was by observation and analysis of test samples. The number of test samples was 12 samples, taken at 12 locations during the rainy season and dry season. The parameters measured were aquatic biophysics (water quality, soil quality, topography, rainfall, and tides) during the rainy season and dry season. Feasibility analysis uses a weighting system and suitability parameter scores. The results showed: the level of the feasibility of the pond was very suitable during the rainy season (8.45) and the level of the feasibility of the pond was suitable in the dry season (7.15).

Food safety is one of the requirements that become non-tariff barriers to enter the export market, mainly on the quality of products that do not meet quality standards set by the importing country. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes and development of rejection of fishery products in the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA) and the strategy of increasing the safety of frozen tuna and mahi-mahi products that are suitable for export to various export countries. The study was conducted on August 1 to September 30 2018 in the Makassar industrial area (KIMA). Using the Pareto diagram analysis method, causal analysis and SWOT Analysis. The results showed that during the years 2010-2017, six companies in the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA) experienced cases of rejection caused by salmonella, filthy and histamine in 25 cases. The results of the priority analysis of fisheries product development strategies were based on the results of the analysis carried out. the best strategies in developing product development are as follows: (1) There is a need to provide comprehensive training on how to handle good catches for fishermen, suppliers by related agencies that are competent in their field; (2) Increased supervision of product quality processed by Quality Control (QC); (3) Companies must be able to review the causes of product rejection so that it does not recur from suppliers, every step of the process until delivery.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes and development of rejection of fishery products in the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA) and the strategy of increasing the safety of frozen tuna and mahi-mahi products that are suitable for export to various export countries. The study was conducted on August 1 to September 30 2018 in the Makassar industrial area (KIMA). Using the Pareto diagram analysis method, causal analysis and SWOT Analysis. The results showed that during the years 2010-2017, six companies in the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA) experienced cases of rejection caused by salmonella, filthy and histamine in 25 cases.
