Online activity in consumer’s behavior is gradually growing at a very fast rate with the tremendous involvement in social media and user created content on sites, like Face book, blogs, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. In businesses, social media is generally used to spread the awareness about the products and services, promoting brands, to retain the existing customers and to find new prospects. Social media provide better relationship with the customers for the business.

Analysis of Purchasing Decisions and Brand Loyalty of Consumers towards Apple Products¬ – A Study in Coimbatore District 消费者对苹果产品的购买决策与品牌忠诚度分析——以哥印拜陀地区为例

Gadgets have become an essential part of the lives of current generation. This study aims to find out the influence of brand loyalty while purchasing gadgets in Coimbatore District. Thestudy also concentrates deeply on the features that affect the consumers to prefer a particular brand of gadgets. The population for this exploration were Apple users above the age of 18 in the Coimbatore district. A formative questionnaire was framed and variables like demographic, specialized attributes, features of the gadgets were included. This method was exercised in order to collect the primary data from the respondents. The data was analysed with the help of statistical tools such as percentage analysis, Friedman rank analysis, Chi square test and ANOVA. Constructive suggestions were provided with the help of results so derived.

Awareness on Environmental Degradation by Conventional Energy Sources - Persuading the Adoption of Solar Energy Products 认识到传统能源对环境的破坏-说服采用太阳能产品

Energy has been a universal measure of all kind of work by human beings and nature. Energy has been the major input to drive life cycle and improve it. Energy consumption has been closely related to the progress of the mankind. The main objective of the study is to elucidate the impact of conventional energy on environmental degradation and preference towards the purchase of non- conventional energy products - with special reference towards solar energy products .The study has been based on primary data collected from Urban Households in Urban areas of Coimbatore, by administering a questionnaire from a sample of 300 Households selected by applying Simple Random Sampling technique. Primary data has been analysed by using statistical tools namely per centage analysis, Friedman rank analysis, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test. According to the study one of the major causes for environmental deterioration has been accounted to usage of conventional energy. Respondents have been convinced that solar energy products contribute to a greener lifestyle and safer environment. If the government intends to develop consumer-friendly policies and subsidies, solar energy products will be utilized by the majority of the population.

A Study on Consumer Satisfaction towards Water Purifier with Special Reference to Coimbatore City 净水器消费者满意度研究——以哥印拜陀市为例

The main aim of the study is to know the awareness and level of satisfaction towards water purifier. It’s widely acceptable that access to clean and safe water in sufficient quantities is the foremost serious challenge of survival at intervals in the twenty-first century. That’s why the necessity for water purifiers to produce clean and safe water was exaggerated. Water purifier removes undesirable chemical substances from water. There are different corporations in water purifiers, wherever customers are glad about different water purifiers. Customers have different perception towards different brands. So a study has been made on this topic “A Study on Consumers Satisfaction towards Water Purifier with Special Reference to Coimbatore City”, the main aim of the study is to know the awareness and level of satisfaction towards water purifier. Questionnaire method had been used to collect data. Three hundred and nine samples were collected for the people of Coimbatore who are all using water purifiers. This study reveals that people are aware about the water purifier and brand name of the water purifier rank first in selecting a water purifier.

A Study on Effect of Gender Inequality in the Workplace with Reference To Coimbatore City 职场性别不平等的影响研究——以哥印拜陀市为例

This project paper explores the various gender discrimination faced by women in their workplace and how it affects the women’s contribution in the society. Questionnaire was issued and collected from 181 female respondents from all sectors. Percentage analysis, t-test, Anova, Friedman rank analysis was the tools used for measuring gender discrimination in the workplace in this project. Satisfaction level, factors affecting women’s employment opportunities had been analysed from this project.The analysis shows that even though gender discrimination does not take place in every sector of the society it still exists in some part of the society. Not all the women were facing discrimination in their workplace but still some falls victim to gender discrimination which discourages their contribution to society. The result is that gender discrimination decreases satisfaction, motivation, and enthusiasm level of women employees.

Consumers’ Perception on Logistics Services– An Empirical Study 消费者对物流服务认知的实证研究

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a series of interconnected activities relating to the movement of raw materials to finished goods until it reaches the consumer whereas Logistics is the detailed organization and implementation of a complex operation. The logistics services industry is obtaining, producing, and distributing of the materials and products in the right quantities to the consumer. The essential focal point is to satisfy client needs, further develop effectiveness of the product. The objectives include the consumers awareness, perception, satisfaction level and the problems in logistic services. Logistics service companies has become an essential part of everybody's life as well as modern business services who needs this service on a regular basis to deliver parcel, business documents & other goods from one place to another at a fast time. The empirical study analyses the services rendered by logistics in rural, urban and semi urban areas. It’s based on questionnaire method confined to persons who use logistics service for business purposes. It does not cover logistics companies functioning in other states than Tamil Nadu. The data required for the study has been collected from both the primary and secondary data.

A Study on Employee Productivity and Job Satisfaction of Work from Home Employees in IT Sector with Special Reference to Coimbatore District IT行业在家办公员工生产力与工作满意度研究——以哥印拜陀地区为例

The present study has been undertaken to identify the level of job satisfaction of Information Technology Sector (IT) employees and their productivity during work from home (Covid-19). Work from home has not been predominantly possible for all the organizations prior to the pandemic, but in one way or another it has become a new and unrivalled standard. The unforeseen shift to remote work posed a new set of challenges for the employees. As the lines between work and home got obscured, employees struggled to remain motivated and productive. The purpose of this study has been to explore the link between job satisfaction and productivity of employees in the Indian Information Technology Sector during COVID-19 pandemic times and to determine if there has been a provable relationship between these two variables. This study concludes that most of the employees have been satisfied and equally productive while working from home as it provides greater flexibility to the employees. Therefore, the organizations can continue the concept of work from home as most of the employees prefer to work from home in the future.

An Event Study Analysis of India Cements Share Price in NSE With Reference to IPL 参考IPL的NSE印度水泥股价事件研究分析

The investors invest their savings in any of the company’s stock with an intention to earn returns in future. The investors buy and sell shares by carefully analysing the price fluctuations of the company. An event which has an impact on the company, which leads to price fluctuations. One such event identified has been IPL and due to that event, there has been effect on share price of India Cements Limited. By applying the event study methodology, the share price movements can be measured effectively. The major objective of this study is to analyse the average return and risk of India Cements Limited and to study the impact of IPL on India Cements by applying Event study tools. The paper deals with the Event study analysis of India Cements share price in NSE with reference to IPL. Our research intention is to test 41 days share price in NSE website in order to ascertain the behaviour of stock returns during that specific period. For this study we examined the announcement of IPL date by comparing the results, before and after the 20 days of the IPL announcement date. The secondary data has been used for this study. The authors suggest that it has been safe for the investors to invest in India Cements share because the market has been less volatile in that period. It can be concluded that share investment requires keen analysis on the value of money flow, averages and returns in order to choose better investment options.

Trust, Reciprocity and Religion in a University Setting: An Experimental Approach 大学环境中的信任、互惠与宗教:一项实验研究

A distinctive feature of economics that sets it apart from other fields in social sciences is that we base it on the belief that it can explain most behavioural actions by assuming that all consumers are rational and have well-defined preferences. If a decision is difficult to 'rationalise,' it is considered as an anomaly. By using various games such as “ultimatum” games and “public goods” games, the paper experimentally tries to observe the effects of bias and discrimination on the economic decisions of individuals with opponents of distinct ethnic and gender affiliation and uses the "dictator game," to detect a systematic mistrust toward players of different religious origins. By this we tried to identify whether strategies differed based on religious affiliations and gender identities. While standard economic theory claims that individuals are rational actors and will always act out of self-interest, games played with our respondents showed exciting results.
