In this study an innovative RFID model ispresented. This is a very innovative concept, pursuing anew way of looking at current systems as well as theirpotential. This model includes the necessary equipment, includes also the current systems and the differentbusiness areas in which the company operates. The aimof this study is to bring together the existing processesand technologies, providing a different solution, organizing a different way of operating and offering amore efficient approach. The aim is also, by offeringcertain products and services, to become part of aproject embraced by a company, with an interest indeveloping it given that it has the capacity for itsimplementation. In this particular case an essay of thenetwork model was presented to Brisa Inovacao eTecnologia, MARL - Mercado Abastecedor da Regiaode Lisboa and Frigoservice. This model can be appliedto individuals or to the services they may need, such asthe anticipation of compact traffic on a lane, thanks tothe real-time information of passage speeds in certainframes. Is also shown in this study the equipment thatpermits the model that is presented to become possible(the OBUi equipment).

The tea industry of India has been a long journey since 18 th century. In spite of having a strong base as manufactured product, it earns more for the country as an agricultural output. Among the tea producing states of India, Assam is well known internationally since long back. The state dominates the country’s tea map by producing almost half (50 per cent) of total tea production. In recent years, Indian tea industry has witnessed many structural changes like Small tea plantation replacing large plantation, emergence of Bought Leaf Factories (BLFs) etc. Cultivation of tea on smallholding has gained considerable momentum amongst the youths. Being a labour intensive industry, it is the source of employment for the indigenous people of Assam. It has the potentiality for making a positive economic impact ensuring new employment opportunities, proper utilisation of local resources and source of revenue. It is estimated that there are nearly 90,000 Small Tea Growers (STGs) in Assam creating employment for around 1.5 lakh people apart from producing innumerable rural entrepreneurs with the potentiality to transform the socio economic condition of rural Assam. This paper will highlight the prospects of small tea cultivation as a source of self-employment in Assam.

A set of texts on the theory of anti-commons have been published in the last decades concerning the study of property rights. When "anti-commons" emerge resources are prone to be underused because there are too many rights of exclusion. This may be seen in many areas, either social or economic. In Portugal, the processes of aquaculture projects approval depend on too many people (and institutions) decisions. This dependence in the approval process of too many people leads to the sub-utilization of the resources that promoters aim to exploit, because the time used for its approval becomes too long and the project implementation would be too late.

Important results of Colin Clark’s research in the 70s are used again in the discussion of the limits to the privatization of the fisheries. Those results highlighted the possibility of species extinction motivated by special forms of the natural growth function. This paper revisits the situation in which the growth function exhibits a non-feedback, or depensation, curve. The existence of non-shrinkage curves poses problems in determining the sustainable yield and has important implications for resource management. The so-called "Allee Effect" may explain the difficulties of recovery of certain stocks, even when there are a set of limitations to the fishing effort. Ultimately, it explains the extinction of some species: if we face a situation of non-critical feedback, an effect of irreversibility is introduced. These effects are considered in the schooling species fisheries case.

Marketing function per se is undergoing a shift in managing transaction in a transparent e-marketing way (Kauffman et al , 2004) especially in Indian Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) – see Reynolds et al (2007). The effectiveness of e-marketing and disposal system of scrap and purchases in PSUs, namely NLC Ltd and ICF, have been studied. Factors such as e-auction offers, time of auction, experience, security deposit (EMD), basic rate per unit, allotment of bid, acceptance of bid; payment and delivery of successful bids on select items in two PSUs over a period of three to five years have been dealt with. The study adds strength to the concept of e-marketing as well as to the theory of marketing.
This paper studies the reasons why mostPortuguese cork manufacturing firms are concentratedin Santa Maria da Feira, a small municipality in thenorth of the country, whereas the bulk of the cork isproduced in the south (Alentejo and Ribatejo). It startswith a brief introductory discussion of the advantagesand limitations of clusters and industrial districts, together with an illustration of the recent theoreticalfindings of evolutionary economic geography. Next, acomparative analysis is made of the economicperformance over the last decade of firms located inSanta Maria da Feira and other regions, leading to apowerful conclusion that points to the absence of anyclear advantages for clustered firms. Finally, an attemptis made to discover the historical and socio-politicalreasons why so many cork firms are concentrated inSanta Maria da Feira. These are shown to beindispensable for understanding and substantiating thebusiness location decisions of most Portuguese corkentrepreneurs.

Corporate social responsibility advertising(CSR Advertising) results from commercial advertising, having social dimensions. This concept works as amarketing tool of cause-related marketing (CRMarketing). In this study, the case of IOCL (an Indianoil company) is presented to show how the companycreates innovative advertising ideas, serves the society, contributes to save environmental natural resourcesand allows to add economic value. Historically in the world, since last century, fish stocks of many species have been overexploited. A good management of fisheries became essential to permit the preservation of species. Managing fisheries got increasingly complex, once many interests, often contradictory, are always involved. Moreover, through time, political will has not been enough to change things in many places around the world and overexploitation has remained for many species. In India, with a strong population density in many coastal areas depending on fishing, the situation is very severe for many species and new requirements for preservation are now being tried. In literature, fisheries have been analysed in contexts of uncertainty. Chaos theory is one of the theories that have been used to explain fisheries. This work intends to represent a reflection about fisheries overexploitation, considering the utilization of chaos theory and the understanding of the related problems taking into account ethics setting. The India situation is showed.
