Outdoor Learning Methods to Improve Students' Biological Concepts 提高学生生物概念的户外学习方法

Outdoor learning is a method in learning and teaching. With outdoor learning, students can get to know the environment and biological concepts. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' understanding of the concept of the interaction between living things and the environment in the outdoor learning method. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) with two learning cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMPN 15 Kabaena Utara with 20 students. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students' understanding of the concept of cycle 1 was 40.95 and cycle 2 was 70.5. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the outdoor learning method can improve the understanding of biological concepts in class X SMPN 15 Kabaena Utara.
户外学习是一种学习和教学的方法。通过户外学习,学生可以了解环境和生物概念。本研究的目的是确定在户外学习方法中增加学生对生物与环境相互作用概念的理解。这种类型的研究是课堂行动研究(CAR),有两个学习周期。本研究以SMPN 15 Kabaena Utara班共20名学生为研究对象。所得资料采用描述性分析进行分析。结果表明,学生对周期1概念的理解程度为40.95,周期2概念的理解程度为70.5。根据研究结果,可以得出结论,户外学习方法可以提高X SMPN 15 Kabaena Utara班学生对生物学概念的理解。

The Effect of Inquiry-Based Audiovisual Media on The Communication Skills of Biology Students 探究性视听媒体对生物系学生沟通技巧的影响

Communication skills is ability to explain concepts or materials. This study aimed to determine the effect of inquiry-based audiovisual media on students' communication skills on human excretion material. This quasi-experimental research employed a Post-test – Only Control Grup Design. This study's sample was class XI IPA2 as a learning class taught using audiovisual learning media and class XI IPA1 as a comparison class taught without using audiovisual learning media. Data on students' communication skills was collected by a test and analyzed using a descriptive statistical and inferential analysis using the ttest. The research result indicated that the use of inquiry-based audiovisual media has significantly influenced the students' communication skills on human excretion material.
沟通技巧是解释概念或材料的能力。本研究旨在探讨探究式视听媒体对学生排泄物材料沟通技巧的影响。本准实验研究采用后验组设计。通过测试收集学生沟通技巧的数据,并使用ttest进行描述性统计和推理分析。研究结果表明,探究性视听媒体的使用显著影响了学生对人体排泄物材料的沟通能力。
