The purpose of the present study was to explore the effects of using syntagmatic and paradigmatic relationships on learning grammar among Iranian pre-intermediate EFL learners. To fulfill the objectives of the study a Homogeneity test (Oxford Quick Placement Test) was administered among 70 students at the pre-intermediate level of a private language Institute and finally 40 participants were selected. Then, they were randomly divided into two subgroups, namely control and experimental groups. Before starting the treatment, a validated teacher-made grammar test was administered to students as pre-test to assess the participants' knowledge of grammar at the beginning of the course. Then, the experimental group received the treatment, which was teaching grammar through using syntagmatic and paradigmatic relations while the control group was taught using traditional methods of teaching. After 20 sessions of treatment, the two groups were administered the same teacher-made grammar test as post-test. Data were analyzed by Paired and Independent Samples t-test. The findings showed that the experimental group significantly performed better than the control group. Generally, the experimental groups outperformed the control groups. The results suggest that syntagmatic and paradigmatic relations can be used in English classes to develop listening grammar ability among Iranian EFL learners.

, This research aims to determine the extent of efforts to increase the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra Province, especially for Islamic Religious Education teachers who teach in public schools. This is qualitative research, researchers conducted interviews directly with stakeholders involved in efforts to improve teacher competency in the North Sumatra provincial ministry of religion offices, they were Head of Office, Head of the section on Islamic religious education, Head of education and training centers and teachers directly involved in every activity to improve competence. The results of this study have found the following; 1) Increasing teacher competence has become a top priority in the section on Islamic religious education through planning activities such as workshops, training, seminars and direct assistance to teachers. Costs in these activities have been budgeted in the DIPA of the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra Province each year. 2) The Workshop Implementers and various trainings are the Office of Religious Education and Training of the Province of North Sumatra which specifically has the task of conducting training. 3) Participants involved in the training are all PAI Teachers who teach in public schools. The implementation of these activities is periodically arranged according to needs. This study aims to delve deeper into the evaluation of education, especially Islamic education, contained in the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which is narrated in two major books, namely the Book of Sahih Bukhori and Sahih Muslim. This research was conducted by classifying the hadiths in the two books into groups of hadith indicated as hadiths about the evaluation of education. As a finding, there are three terms in the two major hadith books, namely Al-Hisab, Al-Bala ', and Al-Imtihan. In the Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim books the traditions of the evangelization of education are clearly explained. so that it can be concluded that Islamic Education related to evaluation has been clearly described through the Prophet's hadiths narrated in the books of Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. T his study aims to find out about the position of the child of the result of a broken marriage due to the existence of cancellation, and the inheritance position of a child who is a result of a broken marriage due to a marriage cancellation The method used in writing this Journal is a qualitative method with data collection techniques is library research collected and analyzed with descriptive techniques. The results of the study show that the Nasab position of a child who has a broken marriage due to a marriage cancellation is attributed to his father and mother, this is based on Article 28 of Law No. 1 of 1974 and Article 75 of the Compilation of Islamic Law affirms that the cancellation of a marriage based on a court decision does not apply retroactively to the children born from the marriage. The inheritance of a child who has a broken marriage due to a marriage cancellation can still inherit the property from his father or mother and also the child has a family relationship with the family of the father or mother . This SWOT analysis is carried out to encounter the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of UIN of North Sumatra in relation to the transformation of its status changes. As is known, before the transformation, this institution had been dealing with the problem of Religion study programs that were quiet. The addition of the Faculty and the New Public Study Program after the transformation certainly added to the difficulty in resolving the study program problem. Because the problem of lonely interest is closely related to the availability of employment, the most effective way to overcome the problem of lonely interest is by opening an employment opportunities for the alumni. The MoU was conducted with various institutions prioritized to market the alumni. Then internally the academicians of UIN of North Sumatra Medan must have the same spirit of realizing a professional education program and a Combined degree so that every alumni of UIN of North Sumatra Medan has a wider opportunity to obtain employment. The conclusion of this study is that in carrying out the transformation of UIN of North Sumatra Medan is supported by several strengths including assets owned, support from the government, community, trustees and alumni. Meanwhile, weaknesses appear on separate campus locations so that student administration services become ineffective and inefficient. The toughest challenge for the transformation of UIN of North Sumatra Medan is the source of funds, because the budget given by the government every year is very limited while the need for fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure cannot be delayed. As a university located in a strategic area with potential natural resources, UIN of North Sumatra Medan has the opportunity to develop its financial resources from several sectors, such as business, hospitality, plantation, fisheries and tourism .

The study aims to find out more about the effect of teaching Islamic Education (PAI) subjects on the character building for students of State Senior High School I of Panyabungan. This research was carried out with a qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained by conducting direct interviews with school stakeholders including principals, teachers, counselors and others. The results of this study are; through Islamic Education Teaching Material Teaching (PAI), State Senior High School I of Panyabungan has succeeded in shaping the character of students which include; behave well, honest, virtuous, responsible, trustworthy, carrying out discipline and always on time. As a conclusion, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) became one of the important material to be taught in public high schools in particular and all high schools in general. Because Senior High Schools are still very minimal knowledge of religion as a foundation for the formation of student character. This paper aims to propose substantialisation of the doctrine of Islam in the economic field, explore the ideas of Islamic economics that developed into Islamic economic movements, Islamic banks, and then to the state response seen in national policies in contemporary Indonesia. This paper uses political perspective by looking at the development of increasing degrees of democratization, the information technology revolution, increasing economic growth including rising numbers of the middle class, and the masses of demands of the Indonesian Muslim community in terms of Islamic life, I optimisticly argue that Islamic economics will continue to grow in Indonesia, and it also helped strengthen the national economy and more equitable welfare progress. This study aims to investigate the roles of financial system on education in the Holy Qur’an. Research was done by interpreting verses of holy Qur’an in relation to financial guidance specifically in education. As findings, there are several verses explaining about financial system on education, they are al-An'am; verse 38, Yâsin; verse 12, al-Hashr; verse 18, and al-Anfâl; verse 60. These four verses are explaining about the importance of planning in financial on education. Moreover, in Al-An'am verse 135 has explained about the significance position of organizing, actuating and controlling. Furthermore, in Yasin; verse 12 and Al-Anfal; verse 60 has also talked more about the flexibility in arranging the financial institution on Islamic education, whilst others verses have explained deeply about the openness on financial sources in Islamic education as well. This study aims to describe the program of teacher competency improvement, efforts in improving teacher competence, financial policy in improving teacher competence, constraints faced in improving teacher competence, and efforts made in overcoming obstacles to improve teacher competence in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School Medan. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation study. Data management consists of data reduction, data display / data presentation, data analysis, techniques to ensure the validity of research results. The results of the study revealed that the first program to increase the competence of teachers in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School Medan is the improvement of education qualification, equalization and certification, competency-based integrated training, education supervision, empowerment of Subject Teacher Consultant (MGMP), symposium, and other traditional training. The effort of developing the competence of teachers in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School Medan is by conducting education and training such as training, internship activities, school partnerships, tiered training and special training, short courses of LPTK or other educational institutions, internal coaching of schools and further education. Activities other than education and training are discussions, seminars, workshops. Obstacles in increasing the competence of teachers in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School Medan is influenced by factors such as structural factors, teacher personal factors, teacher economic factors, social factors, and cultural factors. Efforts to overcome the obstacles to increase the competence of teachers in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School Medan is always doing communication, monitoring and evaluation to ensure that the planned program can be implemented in accordance with the objectives, how far the achievement .
