The Time Evolution of Meso-scale Disturbances in the Atmosphere Caused by Frontal Instability 锋面不稳定引起的大气中尺度扰动的时间演化

1. はじめに 大気中の前線に伴って擾乱が発生 ·発達する現象は前 線不安定と呼ばれる. この前線不安定によって, 空間ス ケールや発生要因が異なる大気擾乱が発生することがあ る. その一例として,冬季日本海上の帯状収束雲に沿っ て発生するメソ α, βスケールの擾乱が挙げられる. 本研 究では帯状収束雲の断面に見られる前線状の構造を念頭 に置いた水平 ·鉛直両方のシアーを持つ連続成層した基 本場を考え, 準地衡系による線形安定解析,および名古 屋大学地球水循環研究センターで開発された非静力学モ デル “CReSS”を用いた非線形時間発展によって, どの ような条件でメソ α, β どちらの空間スケールの擾乱が 卓越するか, またその要因は何であるのか調べた. 本研究で対象とする擾乱,特にメソ βスケールの擾乱 は, 空間スケールが 200km以下と小さく,1日より十分 短い時間で急速に発達する. このような性質を持つ擾乱 における準地衡系での線形不安定モードの取扱いについ ても言及する.
首先,伴随大气中的锋面而产生的扰动被称为锋面不稳定。有时会发生空间尺度和成因不同的大气扰动。冬季日本海上沿着带状辐合云发生的甲烷α、β尺度扰动就是其中一例。在本研究中,考虑到在带状会聚云的截面上看到的锋面状结构的具有水平和竖直两种滑道的连续成层基质。通过使用准地衡系的线性稳定分析,以及名古屋大学地球水循环研究中心开发的非静力学模型“CReSS”的非线性时间发展,在任何条件下都可以使用甲氧α,β调查了哪一种空间尺度的扰动更好,以及其原因是什么。本研究对象的扰动,特别是β甲烷尺度的扰动,空间尺度小到200km以下,在比1天还短的时间内迅速发展。对于具有这种性质的扰动,准地衡系中线性不稳定模式的处理也将有所提及。
