This research broadly aims to reveal the role of ulama as political communicators and specifically to reveal the involvement of Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS) in the perspective of political communication in the 2020 Pilkada. The results show that of the three kinds of political communicators, Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS) falls into the third, namely the spokesperson and opinion leader. Because the goal is not to gain a position, but to provide support because of the same vision, mission and goals. UAS is also a highly charismatic person in the community, so it is believed to be able to move people to make political choices in the political contestation in the 2020 Pilkada. The political messages conveyed by UAS in the 2020 Pilkada are as follows: a) Politics is part of community education, b) Politics is a means to apply da'wah, c) Resist political pressure, d) Reject money politics.

Digital Era is an era where a shift process come up from industrial based to an information technology using computer or other technology devices as medium or communication. It gives benefit to preacher which various Islamic Ideologies background. The internet has a significant influence to millennial generation and Z generation. The increasing number of Islamic identities that are spread in online media can have an effect on forming religious hybridity among Y and Z generations. This study aims to answer whether online media has an effect on forming religious hybridity among Y and Z generations. The research method used is literature review, data obtained from previous research, research keywords become references to find data. This study found that online media has a major influence in shaping religious hybridity among millennial and Z generation. This can be seen from the high use of online media among millennial and Z generation and they often look for religious issues through online media. This is also supported by the effect of da'wah in online media that comes from various religious identities. This research aims to explain the concept of santri da'wah in the era of disruption. The existence of the concept of da'wah for students in the era of disruption will determine the success of da'wah as an effort to symbolize Islam. Santri have a big role in creating a life order that is in accordance with the noble values contained in Pancasila and Islamic teachings. So that the concept of da'wah carried out is also expected to be on target and in accordance with current technological developments. This research is a qualitative research based on library research using descriptive analysis. Interpersonal communication is one of the communications commonly used to convey persuasive messages and increase intimacy as well as a form of communication that can be a bridge for expressing a thought or opinion so that it can lead to a solutive and positive goal. Interpersonal communication between parents and children can affect the success of children's education. During the COVID-19 pandemic, children's face-to-face learning was shifted to online, this tightened the role of parents in supervising their children because children were required to use automatic gadgets for children to deal directly with the online world for quite a long time. Therefore, the results of research from three family informants show that the role of parents is very important in different ways in each family, some interpersonal communication roles are associated with several functions including affective functions (affection), educational functions, religious functions, protective functions and recreational functions, which helps researchers find out how the role of each dual career marriage parent in supervising children's online learning and from four types of families there are only three types of family that occur in three family informants, namely consensual, pluralistic, protective, none of which is in the tolerant category. This research was conducted in Surabaya using a qualitative descriptive approach and phenomenological methods. The results showed that the type of family determines how the role of parents' interpersonal communication with their children because the role of parents' interpersonal communication in supervising children's learning has an impact on the success rate of children's education.

Suro Bali is one of the villages in Bengkulu province where the people are involved in ethnic and religious interaction, especially, Hindu and Muslim communities. Furthermore, an intense interaction for decades certainly has an impact on Muslim society. This paper is intended to determine the impact of socio-religious interactions on the Muslim community in Suro Bali. The phenomenological perspective or interpretive perspective is a big umbrella from the perspective of symbolic interaction which is the guideline in this study with a focus on the interaction of the dominant communities in Suro Bali, who are Hinduism and Islam.The result show that the effect of social-religious interaction on Muslim communities in Suro Bali can be seen from several aspects. This article aims to explain the connections between hate speech, hoaxes, mainstream media with impact on Indonesian Social Islam. the article will explain the role media in developing in the social field, and technology until giving new perusal, in problems in related actual issues until becoming rich perspective and understand information. The mapping in this paper is described from the 2014 Presidential Election to the issues that have been circulating recently, including the development of the dynamics of Indonesian Islam. The solutions presented in this paper are; the role of parents in controlling their children and early social media education. This must be done because the current generation is a generation that is aware of technology, thus it is appropriate to educate based on the needs of the times. There are results found that there are deficiencies in understanding and applying social media so that it often creates anxiety that starts from the virtual world and then is brought to the real world or vice versa from the real world to the virtual world.

Religious instructors are people who play a role in providing education, guidance, and information to the community. For this reason, the therapeutic skills of extension workers need to be improved continuously, considering that the success of counseling lies in getting the message to the community. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of therapeutic communication based on aspects of the communicator's ability, acceptance of the communicant, the message conveyed, the use of media, and the effect of the interpretation of a message. The type of research conducted is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects of this research were 32 religious instructors in the city of Padang. The data collection tool uses instrument development in the form of a valid and reliable therapeutic communication questionnaire. The data collection technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that communicators must have the ability to master problems, speak effectively, motivate, look attractive and use appropriate language. Then from the communicant aspect, the extension worker must understand the background and cultural characteristics and the level of need for the communicant for the material presented. The material aspect of the instructor should use structured, monitored, and evaluated material. The use of media in counseling is very supportive of achieving the goals of counseling. Taking into account all these qualifications, the extension worker can avoid misinterpretation of the material presented, so that the target of the extension can be achieved.

The radio listener's comments and questions in weekend talk show broadcasting program entitled “Polemik Trijaya” were delivered via Twitter, which is also used to promote the program. This methodological study was determined to describe the broadcasting program's interaction and promotion in Twitter by studying the phenomenon in this research. The data was collected with interview, observation, and documentation techniques to be analyzed and concluded later on. It was found that the interactions used retweet and hashtag features, in which the hashtags used were specifically meant for the program topic which allows the interactions to continue even if the broadcasting program is ended. Twitter itself is an effective media to promote the “Polemik Trijaya” due to the promotional content that can be repackaged to be more interactive, the interactions are included in promotional content that can attract the interest of advertisers as a contributive element to the operational continuity of MNC Trijaya.

AbstractThe success of a missionary in delivering da'wah cannot be separated from the effective pattern he uses. Tabligh or Da'wah is a moral force that is able to drive social change and offers an alternative in building the future dynamics of the ummah, by taking the right, creative and wise ways and strategies. This paper aims to describe the pattern of da'wah in the Cireundeu Cimahi Traditional Village. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study explain that Ustad Abdullah uses a traditionalist pattern, namely conveying Islamic messages or teachings from the yellow book. Using the method of delivery by word of mouth, by action, and equipped with writings from books, magazines or relevant leaflets obtained from outside. Cultural communication used is low context communication.Several factors caused the development of da'wah in the Cirendeu village to be hampered, namely: 1) Ingrained customs; 2) lack of creativity of missionaries; 3) limitations of missionaries; 4) The method of da'wah is monotonous; 5) The negative mindset of the followers (adherents of Sunda Wiwitan) towards Muslims; 6) there is no motivation of religious figures.

Tabligh or Da'wah is a moral force that is able to drive social change and offers an alternative in building the future dynamics of the ummah, by taking the right, creative and wise ways and strategies. This paper aims to describe the pattern of da'wah in the Cireundeu Cimahi Traditional Village. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study explain that Ustad Abdullah uses a traditionalist pattern, namely conveying Islamic messages or teachings from the yellow book. Using the method of delivery by word of mouth, by action, and equipped with writings from books, magazines or relevant leaflets obtained from outside.
