Dedication to the society is done in the form of socialization awareness of the dangers of drugs among students. This activity aims to provide understanding and knowledge of the dangers of drugs, in order to be able to avoid the abuse of drugs. This activity also aims to foster a healthy culture from an early age. The importance of growing a healthy culture among drug-free adolescents. Subjects of dedication to society activities are the students grade VI in the 66 East Singkawang national School which amounted to 21 students. The socialization and mentoring activities were conducted by lecture, demonstration, discussion and practice with question and answer. Availability of adequate expert in providing socialization, the enthusiasm of the participants, support by goverment, RT and RW to the implementation of activities and financial support from STKIP Singkawan is a supporter of this dedication activity. Benefits to be gained by participants of this dedication activity is with these activities can provide awareness to students about the dangers of drugs. This socialization activity also can giving an understanding of the importance of healthy culture from an early age.

This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for the use of ICT especially computer and internet and foster interest and motivation of students to learn. The target in this task were all of students of SDN 62 in East Singkawang Sub-District. The methods used in PPM activities are briefing and simulation. The advantage of this activity could be obtained by participation of students in this social activities was provided the knowledge and skills on implementation of ICT as a tool of learning so that elementary school students more skilled in their class. Event PPM is one of dedication to the community listed in the Tri Dharma College. The PPM activities conducted involving several professors, students, teenagers around the village Nyarumkop and some employees of the village. Measures undertaken in the form of socialization about the impact of social media for teens in the Village of East Singkawang Nyarumkop in the district in 2017. The method used in the service activities of these activities are lectures, discussions and question and answer. Results of implementation and yag response was obtained from the participants can be concluded that the purpose of these activities successfully and on target. Hopefully with these activities can contribute to society as one application of the Tri Dharma College, especially community service.

The purpose ofthis activity is to educate the community to know the symptoms of landslides and increase community awareness early on and provide assistance to the community to identify layers of soil or rocks that have the potential to cause landslides around residential areas using geoelectric. To achieve this goal, landslide disaster preparedness counseling activities are carried out for residents of Nyarumkop Singkawang Timur Village. The number of participants of the activity as many as 20 heads of families. Counseling activities carried out include coordination with the East Singkawang Sub-District and local RT, material briefings, simulation of landslide disaster mitigation, identification of potential landslides, and follow-up activities. The results of this community pengabdian activities can be described as follows: The community has been aware of the symptoms of landslides and there is an increase in public awareness early on. The community has also known the layers of soil or rocks that have the potential to cause landslides around their residential areas, namely limestone layers with layers of the top of the field of derailment in the form of clay, clay sand, and sandstone that can store water content

Pengabdian ini mengkaji tentang kendala yang dihadapi petani dalam upaya pengembangan hasil pertanian jagung yang disebabkan oleh masyarakat yang belum mengenal teknologi pengolahan produk olahan jagung. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kreativitas masyarakat dalam mengolah jagung menjadi produk olahan baru yang berdaya jual tinggi dan bernilai ekonomis. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu tahap persiapan dan pembekalan, pelaksanaan, dan rencana keberlanjutkan program. Observasi serta wawancara dilakukan guna pengumpulan informasi yang lebih konkrit. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu terlaksananya kegiatan pengolahan jagung (Nguping) sehingga menambah pengetahuan warga akan olahan lain dari hasil pertanian jagung di Desa Kumba, Kecamatan Jagoi Babang.
