A new combing method of Adaptive Array Antenna for ISDB-T Mobile Reception system is proposed in this paper. From experimental results, it is clarified that the BER performances of the proposed system are superior to the conventional system.

Compact LTE/WWAN antenna with reduced ground effects for tablet/laptop applications 紧凑型LTE/WWAN天线,减少地面效应,适用于平板电脑/笔记本电脑应用

A compact uniplanar antenna design for tablet/laptop applications is proposed. The main design principle of this antenna is the use of coupling-feed mechanism. The proposed antenna is composed of a T-shaped feeding strip, parasitic shorted strip, and a step tuning stub. With a small size of 50 mm × 15 mm × 0.8 mm, the proposed antenna is able to excite dual wideband operation that can cover the entire LTE/WWAN operations 698–960 MHz and 1710–2690 MHz. Furthermore, the proposed antenna also exhibits reduced ground effects, in which reducing the ground size of proposed antenna will not affect the antenna's performances.

This paper presents a beam switched antenna using inverted F antenna for mobile terminal application in satellite communication. The antenna produces unidirectional radiation patterns in yz-plane which can be switched in two directions using a simple feeding circuit. This paper discusses the prototype antenna as well as the feeding circuit which is fabricated to demonstrate the switching of the beam patterns in vertical plane.

FDTD analysis of capsule dipole antenna in digestive system of human body 人体消化系统胶囊偶极天线的时域有限差分分析

The transmission factor from a capsule dipole antenna located in a digestive system of human body to the outside are investigated using the FDTD analysis. It is found that the peak values of the transmission factor are observed in a frequency range of 400–600 MHz for different organs of digestive system. High received power was obtained when a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna have the same polarization. Received power was compared with different impedance matching conditions.

Vertically polarized omni-directional loop slot array antenna for mobile base station 移动基站用垂直极化全向环形槽阵天线

A slim vertically polarized omni-directional feed circuit integrated loop slot antenna for mobile base station is proposed in this paper. Picocell antenna requires a compact and slim structure, because its construction space is limited in urban areas. The proposed antenna consists of loop slots and patches to improve omni-directional pattern and bandwidth. In order to enhance the directivity gain, we arrange two loop slot antennas in vertical plane with microstrip line connecting the slots. The size of antenna is only 0.17λ× 1.45λ. This antenna realizes more than 15% relative bandwidth, and an omni-directional pattern in both simulation and measurement results.

Dual-circularly polarized parabolic reflector antenna with microstrip antenna array for 12-GHz band satellite broadcasting reception 用于12ghz波段卫星广播接收的微带天线阵列双圆极化抛物面反射面天线

NHK will start test satellite broadcasting of UHDTV in 2016 and practical broadcasting in 2018. The test broadcasting will be provided in the 12-GHz (11.7 to 12.75 GHz) band by using right-hand circular polarization. We are planning to provide multiple UHDTV programs for the practical broadcasting by using left-hand circular polarization in the same frequency band. For the UHDTV satellite broadcasting reception, we manufactured and tested a dual-circularly polarized reflector antenna that has a feed antenna composed of a 2 × 2 microstrip antenna array. Measured results showed that the fabricated antenna complied with our requirements, with voltage standing wave ratio of less than 1.4, antenna gain of 34.5 dBi (i.e., the aperture efficiency was 69 %) and cross polarization discrimination of 28.7 dB. In the future, we will improve the sidelobe characteristics.

Design of dual-band reflectarray using genetic algorithm 基于遗传算法的双波段反射天线设计

This paper proposes novel design method of dualband reflectarray using genetic algorithm (GA). Ordinary, each elements of reflectarray are designed to have desired reflection phase. However, when we adopt same polarization in dual frequencies, the element configuration designed to satisfy desired reflection phase in one frequency influences the characteristics in other frequency. Therefore, it is difficult to achieve dual-band reflectarray. To address the issues, we adopt two layer patches for element to increase flexibility of design and optimize the patches configuration using GA. As a result, we achieve novel reflectarray that reflect wave towards the direction of theta equal to 27 deg.

2-D DOA estimation of multiple signals based on sparse L-shaped array 基于稀疏l形阵列的多信号二维DOA估计

This paper proposes a novel method for two-dimensional (2-D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of multiple signals employing a sparse L-shaped array structured by a sparse linear array (SLA), a sparse uniform linear array (SULA) and an auxiliary sensor. In the proposed method, the elevation angles are estimated using the SLA and an improved MUSIC method. The azimuth angles are estimated by two stages. Firstly, the rough azimuth estimates are obtained by a cross-correlation matrix (CCM) of the array received data and the elevation estimates. Secondly, the fine azimuth estimates can be achieved using the SULA and the rough azimuth estimates. The proposed method can achieve automatic pairing of the 2-D DOA estimates. Simulation results show that our approach outperforms the existing methods based on L-shaped array.

Through-hole less microstrip line to waveguide transition with quarter-wavelength open stubs 用四分之一波长开桩的无通孔微带线到波导的过渡

A through-hole less microstrip line to waveguide transition is proposed in this paper. Conventional transitions are required through-holes in order to prevent unwanted emission in the substrate. However, the product cost of the transition is increased by making through-holes. In addition, the through-holes will be broken by heat deformation of the dielectric so that the characteristics of the transition may be deteriorated. Therefore, this paper replaces through-holes to quarter-wavelength open stubs in the transition. In this paper, our proposed transition is designed and the characteristics of that are analyzed. Moreover, the characteristics of our proposed transition are compared with the characteristics of the conventional one. The results show that our proposed transition can maintain the same characteristics as the conventional transition, reduce the product cost and increase the reliability of the transition for heat.

Therefore, this paper replaces through-holes to quarter-wavelength open stubs in the transition. In this paper, our proposed transition is designed and the characteristics of that are analyzed. Moreover, the characteristics of our proposed transition are compared with the characteristics of the conventional one. Performance evaluation of propagation control devices for active propagation control 主动传播控制中传播控制装置的性能评价

The authors have proposed “Active Propagation Control” (APC) as a method to improve receiving transmission performance of a wireless communication channel. By APC, we can obtain better transmission performance by changing propagation characteristics actively in some ways, such as moving, rotating or transforming objects in the surrounding environment. In this paper, we evaluate the variation performance of the propagation characteristics of propagation control devices by indoor experiments to show the fundamental effectiveness of APC quantitatively.
作者提出了“主动传播控制”(APC)作为提高无线通信信道接收传输性能的一种方法。通过APC,我们可以通过一些方式主动改变传播特性,如移动、旋转或变换周围环境中的物体,从而获得更好的传输性能。本文通过室内实验对传播控制装置的传播特性变化性能进行了评价,定量地展示了APC的基本有效性。
