In order to achieve the function of the quantitative control in a variety of flow systems, a new type of electronic valve with quantitative control is designed. The valve collects flow pulse signal from the impeller Hall flow sensor. STM32 chip is used to calculate the flow value and cumulate the total value. It's also used to control relay in order to real-time control solenoid valve. The communication network of upper and lower computer is built through the serial port of STM32, which achieves remote real-time monitoring between the upper computer and multiple quantitative control valves. Experiment results show that the electronic valve has a high precision and the error is less than 2.5%.

User interest is an important basis for providing users with personalized search results. In this paper, the personalized query expansion is improved by combining the notion of user interest and domain knowledge. We present an approach to personalized search that involves calculating and annotating the interest weight of terms which are implicitly derived from user browsing history, and matching them with different domain dictionaries, finally selecting the expanding terms from three aspects: ontology-based correlation degree between expanding term and query term, interest weight and domain proportion. Our experiments show that the method is effective and is better than the traditional method, especially in the case of the query term belonging to more than one field whose advantage is more obvious.

Acoustic emission (AE) sensors are used to detect acoustic signals from serious and active defects of vessels inspected. Ordinary AE sensors generally can not be directly coupled on walls of high/low-temperature or complicated vessels because of the limitations of their temperatures or configurations. In this paper, several practical and improved wave-guide rods are designed so as to test these special vessels using ordinary AE sensors, and more importantly, some “green” wave-guide methods are put forward for the same purpose. As a successful practice, this paper introduces the AE on-line testing of a cryogenic bi-layer storage tank by means of a special wave-guide method. A lot of field testing practice shows that those recommended wave-guide methods are economical, simple and practical, and that they meet the needs of AE testing of most high/low-temperature or complicated vessels using ordinary sensors.

Prediction of upcoming events has very critical role in many disciplines of life. Air accidents and incidents are one of such critical events. There are many existing learning methods in literature. Case-based reasoning (CBR) is a lazy learning technique of artificial intelligence which exploits past experience very efficiently. It works well when precise information is not available and available information is not well-structured. In this paper, we propose to apply CBR for prediction of air accidents and incidents. In the proposed framework, we describe the retrieval strategies, solution algorithms and revision mechanism. We have implemented the proposed idea for the data of air accidents, incidents and crashes. The results show that up to 87% accuracy can be achieved using the proposed framework.

According to the need of specific object's tracking of multi-viewpoint video, a specific object's tracking method of multi-viewpoint video based on multi-template decomposed tracking and route scheme has been put forward in this paper. First, the route may be schemed by gridding search in this method. Then the object area from motion detection can be blew up, subsequently subtle location should be done again by integration chart. Last, the object from subtle location and the image templates from each angle should be matched. When matching the templates, the features can be extracted by up and down decomposition to the objects. The object with best match and over the threshold can be set as the object to be tracked further. Experiments show that the amount of computation can be reduced greatly and the speed can be improved by the route scheme. The tracking precision has been improved by the precision location of integration chart and the match of multi-template. The method in this paper can become a new method to effectively tracking the specific object of multi-viewpoint video.

By using wavelet transform modulus maxima method to detection image edge, edge details are easily smoothed out in the large scale analysis and related parameters great influenced by the noise is not easy to extract in traditional small scale analysis. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a method based on one-dimensional discrete wavelet image edge detection. This algorithm decompose image into one-dimensional signal, making signal-noise separation with one-dimensional discrete wavelet, and detect the edge of de-noised signal's high frequency components. The article has experimented the multiple vehicle detection in real scene for many times, and the result shows that this algorithm solved the problem that exist in wavelet transform modulus maxima method to test image edges in small scale analysis, restraining noise better, and had higher precision in edge localization.

Considering the need of video retrieval and images retrieval, a cascaded retrieval method of specified object based on fusing multiple features has been put forward in this paper. The color and the SURF features should be fused subtly by the algorithms. And then the retrieval object can be extracted gradually from the rough to the subtle by the cascaded retrieval method. It mainly includes the following 3 parts: rough retrieval on the first level, subtle retrieval on the second level, comprehensive judgment on the third level. The rough area containing the suspected vehicles can be recognized by the color histogram with color layered in rough retrieval. Further recognition on the basis of rough retrieval can be done by obtaining SIFT features information in subtle retrieval. The comprehensive confidence of the object vehicles can be obtained by some principles according the independent similarity from the rough retrieval of colors and the subtle retrieval of features in comprehensive judgment. The experiments show the problem that the object features cannot be extracted from rigid object and flexible object at the same time has been solved by the algorithm in this paper. It has a better retrieval precision and a high processing speed, so that it prove to a new method to retrieve the video and image effectively.

Design and simulation of frequency adaptive controller for induction heating power supply is raised in this paper. When the load characteristics of power supply are changed, the controller can automatically track and lock the frequency of the load, so that the inverter circuit is kept in a resonant state. In order to achieve wide frequency range and high accuracy, the control system applies DSP devices as the control CPU, and FUZZY as well as DPLL control as dual controller strategy. Simulation in MATLAB has been carried out whose result shows that the control method proposed in this paper has better performance than the traditional ones.
