In this paper, a robust fuzzy digital PID control strategy, via multiobjective genetic algorithm, based on the gain and phase margins specifications, with applications to uncertain dynamic systems with time delay, is proposed. A mathematical formulation based on the gain and phase margins, the fuzzy model and PID digital controller structures and the time delay of the uncertain dinamic system, is deduced. A multiobjective genetic strategy is defined to tune the fuzzy controller parameters so the gain and phase margins of the fuzzy control system are close to the specified ones. Computational results show the efficiency of the proposed methodology through the accuracy in the gain and phase margins of the PID control system compared to the specified ones and tracking of the reference trajectory.

There is the conflict among the agents in MAS which is a loosely-coupled system, and non-symmetrical usually. Firstly, the paper introduces the concept of ordered couple of sets and establishes the conflict model in the frame work of information systems. Secondly, it defines and analyzes the conflict and neutrality states of the agents in MAS. Finally, it gives an example for how explaining the works in the paper.

The traditional learning resources system gathered a mass of heterogeneous data. It is deficient in intelligence and personalization. Its development is complicated and long period. Learners acquire desired resources only through tedious frequent search. In view of shortcomings found in traditional learning resources system, this paper applied data mining technologies to the research of intelligent push while using Ruby on Rails' full-stack MVC architecture for the system development. The system framework and algorithm is designed in this paper. This paper proposed an effective method for EEG data classification in a Brain-Computer Interfacing system. We use Principal Component Analysis for feature extracting, then use an optimized Support Vector Machine for classification. The SVM's parameters are optimized by Genetic Algorithm. Furthermore, and optimal signal combination search is performed to get a higher classification rate, an explanation from the human physiological point of view is given. Experiment shows that this method can achieve higher classification accuracy than normal SVM classifier and artificial neural network.

Inspired by the natural ripple-spreading phenomenon that occurs on a water surface, this paper proposes a novel ripple-spreading algorithm (RSA) for the k shortest paths problem (k-SPP). In nature, a ripple spreads at a constant speed in all directions, and the node closest to the source will be the first to be reached. This very simple principle forms the foundation of the proposed RSA. By mimicking the natural ripple-spreading phenomenon, the new algorithm starts an initial ripple from the source, and initial ripple triggers new ripples at other nodes as it spreads out. A new ripple can also trigger ripples at nodes farther away, until the destination is reached by k ripples. Then the kth ripple that reaches the destination determines the kth shortest path. The comparative experimental results illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

This paper investigates the maintenance policy of Two-Machine-One-Buffer flow line two machines with an intermediate buffer and analyzes effects of parameters on maintenance policy and system performance. The system produces good products with gradually decreasing probability when no maintenance is executed. A maintenance policy of control limit form having been testified in many literatures is adopted and a discounted reward Q-P-learning algorithm based on policy iteration is used to find out the optimal maintenance triggering states and also verify the model.

Software faults are the underlying and important roots which result in the mistake, failure and even breakdown of system. So software Fault Diagnosis and the Spectrum-based Fault Localization (SFL) is very significant to software quality assurance. The current fault diagnosis technique based on the artificial intelligence and Multi-Agent attracts more and more attention. Multi-Agent System (MAS) have autonomy, intelligence and social ability, which is well-suited for Fault Diagnosis, and which can easily be used in software testing schemes of software intensive equipment. This paper gives a Fault Diagnosis system based on MAS and the proposed system is applied to real software Fault Diagnosis to validate its effectiveness.

This paper proposes a circular road sign detection and analysis method based on monocular vision, which can be used for visual localization of mobile robots. To achieve a stable and reliable real-time detection, a simple but useful circular road sign has been designed. By color-based image segmentation, edge detection, contour selection, ellipse fitting and sign verification, road sign can be detected from monocular vision. Furthermore, perspective geometry is carried out to calculate the robots position based on sign detection result and sign position. The proposed method is experimented on a robot platform. The experimental results show that the method achieves a promising performance and meets the requirement of real-time and practical situations.

For extracting classification rules of academic relations in research project applications, insufficient samples result in deviation because irrelevant features has a impact on decision tree generating. Therefore, this paper proposes a decision tree algorithm combined with correlation feature weight selection to solve this problem. The algorithm selects relevant features at first, which are assigned a prior weight when decision tree is being generated, so that relevant features can be preferentially selected. This paper states the principle of correlation feature weight selection, designing of feature extraction functions of academic relations and the extraction process of classification rules of teacher-student, co-author and co-project. The experiment results show that the proposed method is effective on extraction of academic relations.
