In this study, a rakaat counter tool was designed and implemented to reduce mistakes in calculating the number of rakaat during prayer. The piezoelectric is used as sensor which is placed on the top of the prayer mat. Rakaat is calculated when piezoelectric has detected twice prostration. There are four modes in this system, namely fardhu prayer with seven segment display, fardhu prayer with LED display, sunnah prayer with seven segment display, and sunnah prayer with LED display.. There is an LED indicator when the rakaat is done which should be in accordance with the prayer time using RTC. The first test of this tool was carried out with piezoelectric calibration when pressed by the load and forehead. This was accomplished to determine when piezoelectric counting proceeded as piezoelectric was connected directly to the ADC of Arduino Uno. The second test was carried out by testing the tool to be used for 3 days in 5 fardhu prayers and 1 sunnah prayer. From the results of the testing it is proven that this tool works properly, and piezoelectric can be used as a replacement button as a tool for rakaat counter.

The COVID-19 pandemic condition has changed various aspects of life, especially Muslims’ prayer activities. COVID-19 pandemic has especially affected mosques as a place for Muslims to pray five times a day and to have Friday prayer congregation. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Sabilussalam Mosque located at Jl. Dr. Hatta Bandung has restricted its capacity and ensured visitors’ body temperature below 37,4 C manually. However, physical contact still occured, and its capacity still exceeded 50%. Therefore, the adoption of self-check temperature and automatic capacity counter as a method of mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic in mosques was needed. This community service aims at implementing a system for controlling mosque capacity and for avoiding physical contact during praying. The Low Code-based app counts temperature data broadcasted by K3 Pro and stored in NowDB cloud-service. As a result, the system manages to control the mosque's capacity to a maximum of 50% without any physical contact because it relies on internet connection.

In traffic regulation, Maintenance of Traffic Light Signaling Devices (APILL) is a competency that must be possessed by every employee of the Department of Transportation, so that every APILL at road intersections is able to regulate the speed of vehicles in an orderly manner. The method used was to provide education and training to employees of the Kulonprogo Department of Transportation for 5 (five) days. To measure the level of understanding of the training participants, pre-test and post-test were conducted. The average value of pre-test and post-test was 68 and 83 with an average increase of 16%. The conclusion of the APILL Maintenance Training at the Transportation Office of Kulon Progo Regency is said to be successful as indicated by the increase of the post test scores of all training participants. This shows the training participants understand the material well.

This study discusses the design of a 3000 VA PLTS-BBM hybrid power generation system in the tourist village of Kampung Cilintung Situgede Karangpawitan Garut. This is necessary because an energy tourism area will be built there, and it requires an adequate supply of electricity. PLTS is the main electricity supplier combined with the uses of fuel generators to harnest solar radiation in the area. The determination of the initial power energy requirement is 3000 VA or 2550 watts for 18 hours of use so that the energy required is 45900 Wh. The rating of the device used is 48 V. The number of solar panels are 14 panels connected in series-parallel, using 24 units of battery. The generator used is a gasoline generator with a four-stroke engine having a capacity of 3000 W with an electrical output of 220 V AC. The design process also makes use of the PVSyst application. The design of this solar module will be realized in form of a powerhouse to supply the entire tourist village area.

Energy is a basic need for every human being in the world, including in Situgede Village which is located in Karangpawitan Subdistrict, Garut Regency. According to the design concept of the Situgede village as a tourist village, there would be built a solar power plant forwhich construction aconcept of Solar Power Treewas designed. The methods employed in the design process started from calculating the total load estimation, calculating battery capacity, determining the peak wattage value of the PV module, determining the inverter, determining the SCC, to designing the physical power of the Solar Power Tree. The result was a design of Solar Power Tree having capacity of 2 kWh with a total estimated load of 1896 Wh.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a type of language test of which results are often used as a reference for new student admission in Universities. However, this test is not included in the English language learning curriculum at the secondary level so high school students are not familiar with it. Therefore, this community service activity aims at introducing the test to middle-level students so that they have knowledge and are familiar with the types of questions tested in this test. To determine the progress of students' knowledge and abilities, pre and post-tests were conducted, and the result was the improvement of the scores indicating that the learning approach chosen in this activity is in accordance with the objective of the training. In addition, a simple information system for test assessment was created using Microsoft Excel. This information system helps record student grades and makes it easier to convert TOEFL scores.

During the pandemic situation, laboratories with a limited number of equipment cannot be used to their full capacity to avoid over crowded. Thus, innovation is needed in the design and arrangement of laboratories so that they can be accessed remotely with flexible schedule. However, when the community service team studied cases of teaching and learning practices during the pandemic, problems were found, among others, the imbalance between the number of tools and users, as well as limited practical opportunities in online-based learning. Therefore, in this community service a remote laboratory which could be accessed from where the users were as long as they connected to the internet was designed to provide solution to the problems. The designed remote laboratory utilized the Internet of Things (IoT) to help students do practicum on the topic Microspcope by using a remote desktop employing TeamViewer technique as a tool to access the lab computers with the users’ device. As expected, it is proven that remote laboratory can be used to overcome the imbalance between the number of laboratory equipment and laboratory users, and to avoid dangerous crowds during the pandemic as it can be accessed from where the users are located as long as they are connected to the internet.

he purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to young farmer groups in Cicarulang village on the use of social media such as Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook as a means to better market agricultural products, so that they get the best selling price, and to expand their agricultural product market. The method used in this service activity was online training and workshops which were done in two stages. This training was held collaborativelly by Cicarulang young farmer groups and Indraprasta PGRI University. The result of the activity is the improvement of participants’ ability in how to create good and attractive social media accounts, to manage business-based social media accounts as well as to create good marketing content such as making photos and interesting sentences to advertise their products.

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be utilized to improve the quality of services in the world of education. Bina Tani Mulya Al Mujahidin Foundation Boarding School Junior High School (YBTMA) previously did not have ICT infrastructure, especially hotspot or access point services. Based on this, it was necessary to provide assistance to design the installation of Microtik hotspot and access point devices, as well as human resource training to use and maintain these devices so that they could be utilized as much as possible. The installation of hotspot devices and access points was carried out on November 9, 2019, while the training was carried out on November 16-17 2019. This program received positive responses from the program recipients. Our strategy of deploying internet access supporting tools, which was then followed by a briefing of theory and practice, was well received.

Bina Tani Mulya Al Mujahidin Foundation Boarding School Junior High School (YBTMA) previously did not have ICT infrastructure, especially hotspot or access point services. Based on this, it was necessary to provide assistance to design the installation of Microtik hotspot and access point devices, as well as human resource training to use and maintain these devices so that they could be utilized as much as possible. The installation of hotspot devices and access points was carried out on November 9, 2019, while the training was carried out on November 16-17 2019. This program received positive responses from the program recipients. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide socialization about the use of Youtube as a medium for improving youth’s creativity so that they are active and creative in making events and activities in their environment. From the implementation of this community service, it is hoped that it can spark enthusiasm of Jagakarsa Karang Taruna’s members to develop their creativity in creating events and activities in their village. This community service was carried out at Karang Taruna RT 002 RW 03 Jagakarsa Village, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta. The result of this community service activity is that the members of this Karang Taruna are able to edit their video documentation so that it is ready to be published on their Youtube channel Karang Taruna RT 02 RW 03 Jagakarsa.
