Effects of Withdrawal Velocity and Rheological Properties on Film Thickness of Dip Coating Film of Polymer Solutions 提取速度和流变性能对聚合物溶液浸涂膜厚度的影响

Dip coating flows of polymer solutions were experimentally studied. A plate was coated with a solution at several withdrawal velocities. The effects of both the withdrawal velocity and rheological properties of polymer solutions on the film thickness were investigated. The film thickness was measured with a CCD laser displacement sensor. In addition, shape of the film surface in a meniscus region was observed. Five fluids were used as test fluids : two Newtonian fluids having different viscosities and three polymeric liquids which have almost the same shear viscosity and are different in elasticity. For every test fluid, the film thickness increased with increasing the withdrawal velocity. The increasing rate of the film thickness was almost constant for Newtonian fluids, while it decreased with increasing the withdrawal velocity for polymer solutions with shear-thinning viscosity. Moreover, the comparison of the results for the three polymer solutions showed that the film became thin for a polymer solution with high elasticity.

Prediction of Fabric Hand by Neural Network 织物手性的神经网络预测

In this paper, the method that applied the neural network to the prediction method of the hand value was proposed.The cotton fabrics which made the structure of the textile and density change were woven, and the hand value was predicted by the information of the their textile structures.Also, it was examined about the validity of the prediction method. The information about the their textile structures are data about the ups and downs of warp and density, they are input data for neural network. It could be predicted comparatively precisely as a result of predicting the textile hand value which wasn't being learned in the neural network.The results that the textile hand value which made only density change was predicted could be predicted comparatively precisely, too. In addition, the estimation accuracy of prediction method by neural network is higher than that of the method by multiple regression analysis.
本文提出了一种将神经网络应用于手值预测方法的方法。对使织物结构和密度发生变化的棉织物进行编织,利用织物结构信息预测其手值。并对预测方法的有效性进行了检验。它们的纺织结构信息是经度和密度的起伏数据,是神经网络的输入数据。通过神经网络对织物手值的预测,可以较准确地预测织物手值。仅预测密度变化的纺织手值也能较准确地预测。此外,神经网络预测方法的估计精度高于多元回归分析方法。

Representation of Fabric Textures by Texture Mapping Technique using Surface Reflection Characters and Thread Pattern 利用表面反射特征和螺纹图案的纹理映射技术表示织物纹理

In the computer graphic technology for indication of three-dimensional image of fabric surface, there is no indication method to express precisely the fabric textures by the surface reflection characters of fabric and thread pattern. It becomes possible to express the textures of four kinds of fabric with different materials using three kinds of surface reflection characters such as the luminance of surface reflection, distribution of irregular luminance, and thread pattern. We studied the extraction method of three characters and the procedure of generating textures from three characters and we considered the method of expressing the realistic fabric surface by computer graphics. The detection and expression of each character was performed according to the following procedures. (1) Luminance of surface reflection and distribution of irregular intensity were detected from nine images of fabric surface with various incidence angle γ. (2) The numerical model for reflection luminance was indicated by the function formula. Using least-squares method, this formula was obtained from the relation between the average gray level of image and cos γ. (3) Distribution of irregular luminance was indicated by the function formula. Using least-squares method, this formula was obtained from relation between the standard deviation value “σ” of gray level histogram of image and cos γ. (4) Extraction of thread pattern was carried out by detecting line segments on a fabric surface image. (5) The thread pattern was generated from the routine of “MONDRIAN-ART”. This routine was improved to adapt it to the result of measurements. (6) Finally, we used texture mapping technique to compose three kinds of characteristics on image, and generated the image that expresses textures.By using our technique for fashion design system and apparel CAD system, the expressing of a high precise fabric texture becomes possible.

Tension Control System of Filament Yarn in Preparing Process for Weavingby Hysteresis Tenser 迟滞张紧机织造长丝准备过程张力控制系统

In the process of preparing warp yarn by using a sectional warper, washer tensers, in which a pair of disks compensate the friction forces of running yarn, have been used to maintain filament yarn tension in a constant level. By this method, however, it is difficult to compensate abrupt changes of yarn tension. In this report, we have designed the tension control system by method of fuzzy theory which is composed of a tension sensor, a tenser device and a personal computer. The tenser device was prototyped by the use of a direct current motor, a pulley with pieces of permanent magnet, and a cogwheel. This control system was evaluated as a tension controlled experiment for a sectional warper. As the results of experiments, it is possible for this system to control filament yarn tension within deviation ±2cN to set the tension value 20cN under 200m/min in yarn speed. And we confirmed that this tension control system is excellent in transition characteristics and stability in tension control for a sectional warper comparing with two types of traditional tension devices.

Objective Evaluation Model of Visual Elegance of Swirl Skirts Part (I) Regression Method 旋流裙视觉优雅度的客观评价模型(一)回归法

The elegant impression of swirl skirts has been well received by most ladies, yet the textile industry does not have an objective method of evaluating the visual elegance of swirl skirt by grades. In the present study we there for use fabric mechanical properties through the KES-FB system to predict the elegance of swirl skirt manufactured that is to create a method for objectively evaluating visual elegance of swirl skirt by grades. From the study it is found there is a notable correlation between fabric mechanical properties and the visual elegance of swirl skirt by grades. It can also establish a objective evaluation model of visual elegance of swirl skirt by grades basing on the regression method using several key fabric mechanical properties in which the said models pass the fitting test with results exceeding 0.80. In addition, in the present study we use stepwise regression selection method to pick out the most significant key factors ( bending rigidity and shear hysteresis at 0 .5° ) affecting the visual elegance of swirl skirt by grades and then reapplies the regression method successfully thus establishing a method only using two fabric mechanical properties for objective evaluation of the visual elegance of swirl skirt by grades, in a more simple and objective manner.
