Nomophobia is a phenomenon that occurs as a result of the development of communication technology, especially mobile phones, which some people unconsciously experience. This study aims to reveal the tendency of Nomophobia experienced by students of SMAN 1 Pangalengan, especially class 10 in the 2019-2020 academic year. Assessed by using a descriptive quantitative approach to reveal the phenomenon that is happening. This study uses an instrument developed by (Yildirim, 2014) called the NMP-Q instrument (Nomophobia Quessionaire). NMP-Q is a list of statements totaling 20 items covering four dimensions of Nomophobia: (1) unable to communicate, (2) loss of connection / connection, (3) unable to access information, and (4) giving up comfort. All items were assessed using a Likert scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). The level or level of the nomophibia depends on the value obtained. ≤20 then no Nomophobia occurs, 21-60 means experiencing mild Nomophobia, 61-100 means moderate Nomophobia, and> 101 means severe Nomophobia. The results showed that 6% of students had mild Nomophobia, 46% of students had moderate Nomophobia, and 48% of students had severe Nomophobia, so it can be concluded that students of SMAN 1 Pangalengan in class 10 in the 2019-2020 academic year were identified as having Nomophobia.

Since it was declared as one of the crucial issues in the Sustainable Development Goals agenda by the United Nations, gender equality has entered every country including in Aceh province. This study aims to reveal the parent’s role in giving gender education for children in the family, and to seek the forms of gender education, and the importance of gender education in families. This study was conducted by using the method of descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through library research and interview. The result showed that in Acehnese families the role of parents in gender education is not found and there is no gender education. Two factors causing the absence of gender education in Acehnese society. Firstly, the lack of parents understanding about gender equality, and secondly, gender issues are considered as western culture and still taboo to discuss. Gender education in the family is important because children acquire gender stereotypes at an early age, and they learn about gender equality from their family for the first time.

This article aims to examine the motivations, roles, ideologies and bases of two Acehnese women's movements, namely Inong Balee and Balee Inong. Inong Balee and Balee Inong are interesting to study, considering that these two women's movements are played by grassroots communities in Aceh. This study is a literature research. The results showed that the two basic women's movements were played by grassroots communities even though in their journey these two women's movements opened themselves up to the involvement of highly educated communities. These two women's movements have a very important role in making changes to the conditions of society that are not profitable and marginalized. Ideologically, these two movements are different even though they both have the goal of improving the situation of marginalized communities, Inong Balee has an ideology of ethnic nationalism with the aim of separating himself from the Republic of Indonesia, while Balee Inong has an ideology of injustice and marginalization.

Many studies on campus sexual assault in the past use lifestyle-routine activities theory to explain the crime. According to those studies, certain lifestyle factors can increase the likelihood of victimization while still in college. Our research shows that the two theories fail to explain that several institutional policies or regulations set by universities can limit and shape an individual's lifestyle, thus increasing the risk of victimization. These policies or regulations include class schedules, thesis consultancies, and campus-community service programs. Against this background, the authors argue that the root cause of campus sexual assault lies in the patriarchal culture in the Indonesia context hence women have a higher risk of victimization than men.

Fishing activities are usually associated with rural based economic activities. However, studies in Gaya Island Village, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah found that fisheries also carried out by the urban community. Urbanization have created opportunities and dilemmas for fishermen in these villages. This ethnographic study is based on two objectives (i) to discuss the impact of urbanization on fishermen economic life; and (ii) to describe factors affecting the sustainability of fishing activities in urban areas. The study found that urbanization open opportunities to the involvement of non-fishery employment among the fishing households, increased education awareness, fishermen engaged in part-time jobs, urban wage-earner and fixed income as well as enjoying urban facilities. All of these provide income stability to the fishing household in Gaya Island Village but at the same time invokes the issue of uncertainties in fisheries economic activity through tourism development and conservation. The involvement of fishing households in the urban economy especially in the service sector has led to the questionable future of this activity. However, this study found that the nature of the fisheries sector is easy to access, government incentives and fishing skills are among the factors that can influence the sustainability of fisheries activities among the fishing community in Kota Kinabalu city.

The agricultural sector is the main center in rural areas. this happens because the community works to cultivate the land in their environment. With the formation of farmer groups, community agricultural activities will be more structured. this can be found in the community in Nagari Pasir Talang. the community at work is more structured. but all things did not go well because there were obstacles that must be overcome so that it is interesting to research. This study uses a qualitative type in data collection. theory developed by Robert K Merton. The results showed that the community's capacity was still weak in developing and managing a farm which was formed in the form of farmer groups. so that there are farmer groups that can survive and some die by themselves. The management ability of the community is still very weak in the citrus farmer groups in Nagari Pasir Talang.

Economic diversification is fundamental in driving economic growth in rural areas. Encouragement of and stimulus for the economic diversification in the rural areas allow for the generation of opportunities and new economic chains. Apart from that it will assist in the diversification of the sources of income for the rural population. In Malaysia, apart from emphasising on development policies, economic diversification began to take place in rural areas through positive developments in the economic sectors other than rural agriculture such as tourism as well as small and medium industries. The importance of leveraging on the opportunities and available space has created a need to examine the pattern and defining factors of economic diversity that is taking place in rural areas. The discussion in this article pays attention to the diversification of the economy that is taking place in the rural areas in Sabah by selecting the village of Tambatuon as a study area. In addition to the secondary data, the data is also obtained through observations, involvement in the newly created economic activities and interviews with the village heads and members of the Village Community Management Council (MPKK). The results of the study confirm that economic diversification in rural areas is in place. Most of the new economic activities exist based on the initiative of the villagers who receive support from the Government and non-governmental organisations. Nevertheless, the study also shows that the ongoing economic diversification process is still limited to the horizontal level. Hence, there is considerable potential for economic diversification that can be further expanded to enhance the competitiveness of the rural population in general. In this context, rural residents should be creative by using available local resources from the surroundings to broaden the process of economic diversification. Assistance and external support, especially from the Government, is significant in providing an environment that can stimulate economic growth to ensure that the process of diversifying the economy continues to flourish and becomes sustainable.

This paper is based on a preliminary study of the survival of Pala’o ethnic group living in Banggi Island located in the northern part of Sabah, Malaysia. Banggi Island is inhabited by various ethnic groups and dominated by Bajau Ubian, Dusun Bonggi, Suluk, Kegayan, Bajau Sama’ and Molbog ethnic groups. Today, Banggi Island is also inhabited by the ethnic of Pala’o, also known as Bajau Laut or sea gypsies, and Palauh/Sama Dilaut, which originate in the Semporna waters of the Sulu and Celebes Sea. Based on the qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, the Sea Gypsies off the coast of Karakit town, Banggi Island was found to be able to adapt to changes in the environment and adapt it to their suitability. The need to continue living is seen as an essential part of this ethnic 'migration'. The study found that for survival, the Pala'o tribe in the context of this study adopted four survival strategies namely sea migration to land, physical strategy, social strategy and economic strategy. However, the fate of Pala'o's ethnic group remained largely unchanged. They are still subject to poverty and they have always been, and still remain, ethnic 'without citizenship'. The success of a survival strategy is seen to be closely related to the economic sector and the work it does, knowledge, skills and education but it does not apply to this Pala'o tribe. Their lives are still being faced by the hardships of the poor but their insistence on life has given them a chance to continue living even though their lives on the land are different from their life's experiences in the great sea.
