1964 yili, Rauf Denktas icin hayal kirikliklari ile dolu bir yil olmustur. Kibris Rum Kesimi’nin, Kibris’i resmi olarak temsil ettigi Birlesmis Milletler tarafindan onaylanmistir. Birlesmis Milletler Guvenlik Konseyi’nde yaptigi konusmadan oturu, Makarios hukumeti, tarafindan Denktas hakkinda tutuklama karari cikartilmistir. Yapilan gorusmelerden sonra Denktas’in yargilanmamasina karar verildi ancak Ada’dan uzaklastirilacakti. Denktas, 1964-1968 yillarini Ankara’da surgunde gecirmek durumunda kalmistir. Denktas fiziksel olarak Kibris’tan uzakta da olsa, akli ve kalbi Kibris’ta olarak, davasi icin faaliyetlerine devam etmistir. Bu calisma, Denktas’in Ankara’da zorunlu ikamet yillarindaki faaliyetlerini anlatmayi hedeflemektedir. Denktas’in Ankara’daki faaliyetleri, Turkiye ile iliskileri ve Turkiye’nin Kibris Meselesine bakisi acisindan onem tasir.

The fast-paced developments and improvements in information and communication technologies have made internet an inseparable part of daily life. The spread of social networks specifically now allows the measurability of socialization as in everything else. And the measure of socialization has largely become the social networking sites. It is an interesting fact that the social networks, used intensively especially by students, have become an indispensable part of life. This study aims to discover the opinions of students attending Marmara University Technical Sciences Vocational School on social networking. For this purpose, students are surveyed, and the data collected is analyzed to discover the reasons behind students' using the social networks.

In this research is examined subscales of personality traits according to the 5-Factor Personality Theory in terms of the variants of “gender, class, type of university entrance score, the place undergraduates spend most of their lives, family income, family structure and attitude of parents”. According to research results; it’s found out that in terms of the variant of gender, the mean scores of extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness of subscales of undergraduates’ personality traits don’t vary significantly(p>.05); but in terms of the variant of gender, in the subscale of emotional instability/neurotucism, it changes remarkably (p.05);in the subscale of extraversion and openness to experience, in terms of the variant of class, it changes remarkably in favor of the fourth grade(p.05); in terms of the variant of the place undergraduates spend most of their lives, the mean scores of emotional instability/neurotucism, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness of subscales of undergraduates’ personality traits, it doesn’t change remarkably (p>.05); in terms of the variant of family income, the mean scores of emotional instability/neurotucism, extraversion, openness to experience and agreeableness of subscales of undergraduates’ personality traits don’t differ significantly (p>.05) but in the subscale of conscientiousness, it differ significantly; in terms of the variant of family structure, the mean scores of emotional instability/neurotucism, agreeableness and conscientiousness of subscales of undergraduates’ personality traits don’t differ remarkably (p>.05) yet in the subscales of extraversion and openness to experience in terms of the variants of family structure, there is a significant change in favor of extended family(p

Meseleye 19. yuzyil Misir ve Cin’inden orneklerden hareketle yaklasan calisma, bilgi uretiminin uluslararasi tasiyicilarinin (yani misyonerler ve teknokratlar) ozgun secereler insâ edip kavramsal bir kumeleme islemi vasitasiyla yeni kuresel bilim tarihlerini nasil yarattigina bakarak baslamaktadir. Among the western scholars, Franz Taeschner, the German orientalist, is one of the famous authors who had studied on Islamic World, especially on Turkey, from the first half of the 20th century. There are valuable researches among the Taeschner's studies which are about the Anatolian geography and road system of this region. Among these studies Muhtelif Devirlerde Anadolu'nun Yollari ve Cihan Munakalatina Nazaran Vaziyeti plays an important role. This study describes the status and development of the road network in the historical process. The status and past changes of the Anatolian roads during the Roman, Byzantium, Seljuk and Ottoman periods are also included in this study. After the settlement of Turks in Anatolia there have been some changes in the way systems in this region. The Seljuks built roads which are continuously accessible and safe by establishing caravanserais on them and taking security precautions. The Ottomans used the roads they inherited to a large extent. In this period, the construction and repair of roads were generally done because of military reasons during war times. However, the 19th century onwards, new roads were built and broken into a new era in the construction of the roads after the Tanzimat period.
