The article presents the data of the study of the relationship between leadership qualities and emotional intelligence of the individual. The purpose of the presented research is to identify the influence of emotional intelligence on the formation of leadership qualities of high school students. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the research are based on the concept of McGregor's theory of leadership, D. Gulman's model of emotional intelligence, L. S. Vygotsky's ideas about the unity of intelligence and affect. The analysis of the emotional intelligence model of Salovey et al. is also carried out. The article examines the leadership qualities of high school students as the ability to manage and organize a group, which is closely related to emotional intelligence. The role of leadership qualities is determined and how they influence behavior and actions when achieving goals. As a research task, two types of leadership qualities are identified here that correspond to the structural elements of emotional intelligence: personal and business qualities. The expression of leadership potential and its effectiveness in the organization of group activities are considered. In the course of the study, the methods "I am a leader", "Diagnostics of N. Hall's emotional intelligence" were used and an analysis of the results was provided. The correlation coefficient of significant connections between leadership qualities and emotional intelligence of high school students is calculated, a quantitative analysis of the results of an experimental study before and after specially organized group training is performed. The results of mathematical statistics are presented with a demonstration of their accuracy. As a practical significance of the study, it is noted that its results can serve as a basis for further in-depth study of leadership qualities of high school students, as well as the preparation of methodological manuals for its development in the learning process. World experience shows that musical art significantly affects the psycho-emotional, moral, aesthetic and cultural-moral state of a person, as evidenced by a large number of interesting facts and scientific papers. The relevance of the research problem in this article lies in the need to generalize and systematize theoretical and practical knowledge related to the problem of predicting the influence of music on the psycho-emotional and physical state of a person. The article discusses the question of what effect music has on the psycho-emotional state of the student and his creative abilities. For this purpose, a short-term study was conducted with students. In the course of the study, the method «Music Graphics» was used. Music graphics are a unique way of visualizing by creating the impression of music through any visual media. The study studied the impact of various musical styles, including classical music, modern and rock music, on the psycho-emotional state of a person. As a result of the study, it was found that all styles of music affect the psycho-emotional state and creative abilities of students in different ways, and it was concluded that classical works and modern music had a positive effect, in particular, there was an improvement in mood, and listening to rock music had a negative effect on the psycho-emotional state of a person. The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of critical thinking in order to develop emotional intelligence in the subjective activity of an intellectual person in interpertation with new traditions and trends. The concepts of "thinking", "emotion", "emotional intelligence", "critical thinking", "intellectual abilities", "intellectual process" were disclosed, allowing to theoretically substantiate the relationship of critical thinking to the development of emotional intelligence of students through a review of psychological and pedagogical, philosophical literature. In the course of the study, the structure of the correlation of intellectual processes of mental actions of the personality was developed, contributing to the definition of the psychological attitude of critical thinking in the development of emotional intelligence of students. The considered methodological approaches as synergetic, motivational, cognitive allowed to substantiate the integrated scheme of concepts, and abilities of critical and logical thinking and communication of personality. The author clarified the psychological mechanism of critical thinking in the development of emotional intelligence of students through theoretical findings and judgments studied in the article. The results of the experimental work showed the effectiveness of the proposed method of formation of critical thinking activity in the development of emotional intelligence of students, resulting in the dynamics of levels of control and evaluation of emotional intelligence of the student. The scientific results of the study were the fulfilled functions of the psychological mechanisms of critical thinking in the development of emotional intelligence of students, in the process of which they increased the desire for successful learning and acquired skills to regulate their emotions in the process of communication. The article is devoted to the contribution to psychological science of the outstanding scientist Nikolai Nikolaevich Obozov, rector of the Academy of Psychology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Doctor of Psychology, professor, academician of the International Academy of Psychological Sciences, the Baltic Pedagogical Academy, the International Personnel Academy and the head of the laboratory of anthropology and differential psychology of the Research Institute for Comprehensive Social Research of the Leningrad State University, who worked directly under the guidance of an outstanding Soviet psychologist, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences Boris Gerasimovich Ananiev. The life path and professional development of N.N. Obozov and his contribution to the development of scientific and technological progress, namely the introduction and achievement of instrumental and technical research in the development of social psychology and experimental psychology in the USSR and Russia. The article gives a detailed insight into the history of the development of systemic cyber-training technologies: cyber-training, cyber-diagnostics, cyber therapy, and also analyzes the innovative scientific methods of Nikolai Nikolayevich Obozov, which served to develop the psychology of joint activity and its various aspects - harmony, compatibility, cooperation. In his scientific works, he draws attention to the complexity of studying the phenomena of compatibility and harmony and the inconsistency of the results obtained by various authors. The created modern models of cybernometers are successfully used both in the process of teaching practical psychological and socially oriented disciplines, and in various trainings of APE (additional professional education). For the sustainable socio-economic development of the country within the framework of the "New Kazakhstan" model, it is important to ensure equal social conditions for quality education in urban and rural schools, as well as schools of different specialization. In the field of education in Kazakhstan, not enough attention has been paid to the issue of considering high school students as subjects of professional self-determination. Therefore, the proposed author's research is aimed at comparative analysis and identification of factors contributing to changes in professional preferences of high school students of secondary general education and specialized schools. at the same time, the main issue is the study of regional and gender characteristics of professional cities. The results of the study revealed individual factors that influence the professional preferences of schoolchildren: high salary level (92%); possibility of career growth (89.0%); highly qualified profession, work (53%); profession allows management, management (42.0%); enables self-realization (41.0%); gives high status in society (27.0%). At the same time, it is important in this article to study the regional and gender characteristics of professional choice, the influence of educational inequality on it. The purpose of the work is of high importance both on a national and international scale, which is due to the fact that this study will allow deeper and systematic identification of social problems of the formation of professional preferences of high school students and will suggest ways to solve them. The methodology and tools developed in the work can be used in further practical research on the educational, labor and professional behavior of young people. Research processes of modernization and digitization of economy and education in Kazakhstan, employment policy and support of certain areas of professional and higher education, as well as lived experience of pandemic and online education, value perceptions of students, their families, close social environment and professional It allows us to identify this issue by considering how expectations affect students' professional preferences. The article examines the theory of the Second Demographic Transition (SDT) and its main elements, which help to explain modern socio-demographic processes. This theory is related both to changes in purely demographic changes and to institutional, ideological shifts in modern society. It is emphasized that the theory of the second demographic transition takes into account different variations of changes occurring in the family and demographic sphere. The purpose of this article is to analyze the conceptual elements that underlie the theory of the second demographic transition. The VOSviewer software was used to provide a broader coverage of scientific works concerning the theory of the second demographic transition and to identify its concepts. This tool made it possible to effectively search the world's research in the field of SDT and graphically present its main elements. On the basis of the results obtained it was revealed that the attention of the theory of the second demographic transition is most focused on the conceptualization of changes in such spheres as marriage, family, fertility, cohabitation and divorce. The theory of the second demographic transition has a high conceptual significance in the context of manifesting uncertainty in the development of society, which significantly affects the demographic behavior of the population. Its explanatory and analytical capabilities allow for a deeper understanding of contemporary demographic changes, which can improve the effectiveness of population policy. The article examines the process of formation of the women's movement through the prism of international and Kazakh experience of feminist marches. The purpose of the study is a comparative analysis of national and foreign practices of feminist marches for a better understanding of the processes of formation of the women's movement in Kazakhstan. The article describes four high waves of the feminist march during its appearance. At the same time, comparing the experience of the Kazakh and foreign women's March, questions were raised about the cautious attitude towards feminist movements in connection with the policy of a particular country, as well as in ensuring women's rights. The methods of historical and comparative analysis, in-depth interviews and questionnaires were used as the methodological basis of the study. This made it possible to reveal the history of the development of the foreign and Kazakh feminist march, its common and distinctive features related to the politics of various states, and the interview method allowed to obtain information about the current state of feminism in Kazakhstan and the problems of organizing the march. According to the results of the research, the authors conclude that only the feminist movement has constantly and systematically defended the rights of women since its inception, and the effectiveness of the movement (in particular, the provision of economic, civil and political rights to women at the present time and at the beginning of the twentieth century, primarily suffrage) was that the feminist movement played an important role in social and political life. The analysis also showed that the organization of Kazakhstan feminist marches did not have full support from the political authorities and obtaining permission to hold marches requires great effort and painstaking work. The practical significance of the study is determined by the fact that the conclusions obtained in the study can be used in the work of women's socio-political organizations, in the preparation of courses in national history, political science and sociology on the history of the women's movement. The article deals with the problem of assessing feelings of happiness and satisfaction in the subjective study of the psychological quality of life of young women, which is actively engaged in a new direction of positive psychology. The political processes taking place in the world, the dynamic development of society and competitive conditions encourage a person to a comfortable, harmonious life and maintain a positive and productive level of mental mood. The main purpose of the study is to determine the indicators of life satisfaction and happiness of young women. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the data obtained as a result of the work carried out contribute to maintaining a productive level of mental mood, increasing the self-esteem of young women, which opens up great promising opportunities for a harmonious life for them. In order to determine the indicators of satisfaction and happiness of young women, the following methods were chosen: the questionnaire "life satisfaction", compiled by E. Dinner's colleagues, and the Oxford "happiness Inventory" (Oxford Happiness Inventory, OHI), compiled by M. Argyle's colleagues. To verify the reliability of the results of feelings of satisfaction and happiness, an analysis of the reliability of each of the points of the questions was carried out (a total of 5 points), the internal sequence of the questionnaire meets the psychometric requirements. Questionnaires can be used as a psychometrically based diagnostic tool to study the assessment of a person's quality of life. The study showed that the feeling of satisfaction and happiness in young women is influenced by education, age, marital status. Professional attitudes are formed in the process of interaction of personal preferences and the influence of the social environment and are the basis of the professional choice of a school graduate. Professional attitudes are influenced by many factors, including goal-directed career counseling. Career counseling is aimed at forming professional preferences among high school students that meet the needs of the labor market. Despite the career guidance provided in schools, increased informational efforts, and the allocation of educational grants, high school students still encounter difficulties when it comes to choosing their future profession. As a result, there is a noticeable trend of employment in fields unrelated to their specialization, pursuing second higher education, and a decrease in competitiveness in the job market. The article presents the results of the study conducted among high school students in 2022. The purpose of the research is to study the process professional attitudes formation of high school students in Kazakhstani schools and evaluate the influence of school and out-of-school career counseling. The results of the study show that the majority of high school students have changed their initial professional attitudes. The main factors that have influenced these changes are the transformation of the labor market, the advice of «significant others», and employment opportunities. The study shows different frequency in providing career counseling depending on the type of school. Results of the study contribute to understanding the process of professional attitudes formation and assessing the significance of various factors. This study aims to analyze the socio-demographic profile of internal migrants residing in Almaty. The main goal of the study is to identify socio-demographic characteristics of internal migrants, such as gender, education level, age group, nationality and marital status. To achieve this goal, the data provided by the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan (BNS APR RK) from 2017 to 2022 and data from the scientific project IRN AR 09058370 "Social integration of internal migrants in the local community of large cities: social networks, social capital and urban space development" under the leadership of S.S. Serikzhanova were used. The study applied proportional analysis conducted in Statistical Analysis System (SAS), using a frequency table and a summary procedure. The analysis involved examining the distribution of categorical variables to determine the relative frequencies or proportions of each category in the dataset. The significant finding of the analysis indicates that a substantial majority of internal migrants are female who belong to the Kazakh nationality and are of working age. Furthermore, it reveals that most of these female migrants have a higher education level and are married. The predominant trend among these female migrants is their origin from rural areas. The study’s findings hold practical significance for future research in the field of internal migration, including its dynamics, trends, and the social integration of internal migrants into urban society. Additionally, the results provide valuable insights into the social processes within the city, such as the spatial and socio-demographic transformations.
