The rate of mobile shopping has been increased since people are able to use the internet while walking on the street or taking public transportation. Many enterprises make efforts to build new business model to attract a mobile shoppers. Therefore, this paper intends to design an application, which is able to add products into mobile shopping cart by scanning the barcode through smartphone camera and place an order with connected online store. We expect that this study will tear down the walls between online and offline.

ARINC 653 applications using event synchronization may result in behaviors unexpected by the programmers when concurrency bugs, such as race conditions, occur due to their non-deterministic executions. Previous tools do not consider race conditions for debugging ARINC 653 applications. This paper presents a visualization tool, called ConpathView that intuitively shows the aspect of the process execution with race conditions and the accesses to the shared memories based on the event services in ARINC 653 applications.

Cluster head is selected distributed manner in a same hop count. For high probability of upstream cluster head within transmission range, we use reduced transmission range to calculate hop count.

ARINC 653 specification has been introduced as a standardized interface of real-time operating system and an application executive (APEX) to simplify the development of integrated modular avionics (IMA). The ARINC 653 provides a strict and robust time and space partitioning to guarantee the reliability of avionics by isolating the failures of the system. Configuration data for the time and space partitions in the ARINC 653 can be defined as the XML configuration file that can be accessed only by system OS. It is well known that the integrity of partition scheduling is quite tedious activity to check the syntax errors of XML during the integration tasks. Moreover, existing configuration tools for integrating requirements provide limited functions to configure the partitions for host OS or do not provide Health Monitor for faults in each partition. This paper presents improved software configuration tool that provides the state of connections among partitions, the usage of partition memories, and faults and responding actions for Health Monitoring based on the XML scheme of the ARINC 653 standard.

Atomicity races in ARINC 653 applications are a kind of concurrency bugs which causes nondeterministic behaviors by parallel processes. This paper presents a tool, called AR653, to dynamically detect atomicity races. The tool monitors only synchronization operations and access to shared resources, and analyzes the relation of synchronizations to report atomicity races through a locking discipline of semaphores. We compared the accuracy of AR653 with CodeSonar using synthetic programs on a simulation system for integrated modular avionics. The empirical results show that our tool correctly reports atomicity races, while CodeSonar only locates atomicity races in cases of using shared variables.

Actuator network envisions the control provision of resources on Internet. Actuator network middleware supports the message transmissions for controlling the behavior of the environment or physical systems. This paper presents the actuator network middleware based on ID for control environment using multiple actuator devices. The middleware presented here is part of an IoT system. The proposed middleware provides a mapping table between actuator ID and IP address. The middleware supports to transfer command messages through a service interface.

With the recent emergence and popularity of e-business, and the increasing complications of our modern day IT infrastructure, companies have been minimizing their IT infrastructure and making much more investments into cost and personnel in order to ensure ongoing and stable services. This is being done to cope with our modern day rapidly changing business environment. However, in spite of much effort being done, they have not been as effective as what they were expecting, with frequent service downtime due to fault and response time, which raised the essential tasks to find the causes through IT infrastructure monitoring and extended application, rather than to find the causes only from the aspects of hardware in the past. In this study, about how the IT monitoring system was developed, to see many service actions that configure IT services (eg. Server/database/network), by implementing the Agentless real-time monitoring system under the cloud computing environment.
