This research has the aims to explain about the understanding of students mathematical concepts on set topic. This research is a descriptive research whose population is 7th grade students with a sample of 94 students. The instrument used in this research is a test question regarding the set material which contains indicators of mathematics conceptual understanding. The result of the test analysis show that as many as of students with exellent concept understanding, of students with good concept category, of students with sufficient category, of students with low concept criteria, and of students with most low concept understanding criteria.

The development of IT in the 21st century has become the main complement in every learning activity such as using learning media. Learning media is a tool that can help the learning process so that learning objectives are conveyed. This study aims to produce interactive learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe on valid algebraic function limits. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research with a four-D (4-D) development model. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 12 Padang. The data collection technique used a validation sheet. The results of this study are: Validity of interactive learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe which is designed to be very valid with the percentage results obtained 95.99% with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the validity of interactive learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe is valid and feasible to use on the material limit of algebraic functions for class XI IPS 1 SMAN 12 Padang.

The purpose of this study is to describe the traditional Indonesian game (namely Saringgong) as a medium for slow learner students in learning mathematics. Saringgong is a game that utilizes gravels as a medium. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, the method that used is ethnography. Data were collected by using ethnographic principles, such as interviews, observations, documentation, and field notes. The results of this study illustrate that the traditional game Saringgong can be used as an alternative learning medium for Slow Learner students to practice numeracy skills, increase focus and motivation of students in learning mathematics.

Smoking is a habit that some people likes, but it causes health, economic, social, and environmental burdens not only for smokers but also for others. This study describes a mathematical model of the number of smokers which is influenced by the distribution factor of smokers using the dynamics of the square root in the relapse condition. The population was divided into three subpopulations, namely potential smokers, light smokers and heavy smokers. Based on the results of model analysis, it was found that one endemic equilibrium point of smokers was stable. Environmental influences make there always interactions between potential smokers and light smokers so that there are always smokers. The smaller the interaction between potential smokers and light smokers, the smaller the number of light smokers and heavy smokers.

The Covid-19 pandemic is sweeping the entire world, including Indonesia, which has resulted in changes to the education system. Face-to-face learning system turns into online learning. Teachers are asked to be creative in using online learning media to achieve learning objectives, one of which is YouTube. This study aimed to analyze the use of YouTube as a medium for learning mathematics during the Covid-19 period. This research is a descriptive study through observation and interviews with teachers and students. The research instrument used student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, and interview guides. The study results were obtained through descriptive analysis and show that YouTube has significant benefits as a medium for learning mathematics and as the best information seeker during the Covid-19 pandemic.

At present, research on Ramsey Numbers has expanded to a wider scope, not only between 2 complete graphs that are complementary to each other but also a combination of complete graphs, circle graphs, star graphs, wheel graphs, and others. While the classic Ramsey number still leaves problems that need to be solved. Ramsey number R(3,4) > 8. This means that m=8 is the largest integer such that K_(8) which contains components of a red graph G and a complete blue graph G which is still possible not to get K_3 in graph G and not get a blue K_4 in graph G .The graph K_(8) has a total of 28 edges. There are as many as the combination (28,3) red edge pairs that need to be avoided so as not to get any red K_3 edge pairs. And there are as many as the combination (28,4) edge pairs blue. That needs to be avoided in order not to get a pair of blue K_4 edges. Determining the coloring of the of the graph directly is certainly very difficult, especially if the Ramsey number is getting bigger. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Need to use a special method in order to solve this problem. The weighting graph method, where each edge is given weight with a certain value, is able to solve this problem. The weighting graph method is able to display the graph K_8 in the form of a G matrix with the order of 8×8.

This research is based on the low learning outcomes and critical thinking disposition of students at MTsN 7 Tanah Datar. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the acquisition of students' mathematics learning outcomes after using the scientific approach with the Socrates method with the acquisition of students' mathematics learning outcomes with conventional learning, to find out how students' mathematical critical thinking dispositions after using the scientific approach with the Socratic method. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The instruments used were tests of students' mathematics learning outcomes, observation sheets, and questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis, the acquisition of students 'mathematics learning outcomes after using the scientific approach with the Socrates method is better than the acquisition of students' mathematics learning outcomes using conventional learning. Meanwhile, students' mathematical critical thinking disposition in mathematics learning using a scientific approach with the Socrates method is classified as a successful category.
