Maternal mortality remains a global public health concern. Maternal mortality rate was 211deaths per 100,000 live births in 2017 with sub-Saharan Africa accounting for two third. A strengthened postnatal care can significantly reduce this unacceptable mortality. This study aims at assessing the factors associated with the utilization of 4th postnatal care services among mothers seeking vaccination for their children in selected health centers located in the city of Kigali. A cross-sectional study design was conducted in 10 health centers and 403 mothers were recruited. Data was collected using an interview-administered questionnaire, Chi-square and multivariate analysis were used to examine the relationship between independent variables and PNC4 attendance. Mothers who participated in the study (56.7%) were between the ages of 26 and 35, 47.6% were cohabiting, and 49.6% had completed secondary and TVET school. The attendance of PNC4 was 27%. PNC4 service awareness (AOR = 10.922, 95% CI: 5.869-20.325, P 0.001), ANC attendance (AOR = 2.334, 95% CI, 1.050-5.188, P = 0.038), and religion belief (AOR=0.338, 95% CI, 0.177-0.645, P=0.001) were significantly associated with PNC4 attendance. The utilisation of PNC4 is still low. PNC4 should be strengthened to ensure the well-being of the mothers and children. The use of cosmetic products has become increasingly popular among women, encompassing a wide range of items such as moisturizers, makeup, cleansers, and other beauty-enhancing substances. Cosmetic agents are substances found in cosmetic products that are used to improve the appearance and health of the skin, hair, and nails. They may be natural or synthetic, and their functions may include moisturizing, exfoliating, cleaning, and UV protection. Cosmetic agents play crucial role in the formulation of cosmetic products. Different skin types respond differently to cosmetic agents, so it is important to patch test new products before incorporating them into a daily routine. It is essential to consult a dermatologist before using any cosmetic products. The study utilized the descriptive research design. The target population was 250 Females in Taichung, Taiwan. The study did sampling of 210 participants chosen from the target population of 250 Females in Taichung, Taiwan. Questionnaires were used to collect the data. The research concluded that cosmetic agents have become an essential part of daily skincare routines for many females worldwide. The effects of cosmetic agents on skin health among females are significant. Properly formulated cosmetic agents can provide a range of benefits to the skin, improving its appearance and health. Properly formulated cosmetic agents can offer a range of benefits to the skin, like moisturization, sun protection, anti-aging effects, acne management, hyperpigmentation reduction, and exfoliation. It was recommended that different cosmetic agents work best for different skin types and concerns. Oily skin may benefit from a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer, while dry skin may require a heavier, more emollient-based moisturizer. Females should look for products that comprise beneficial components like antioxidants, peptides, and humectants. Avoid products that contain harmful components like fragrances, alcohol, and sulfates, as these may irritate the skin and cause damage over time.

Undernutrition among children under five years is one of the major public health issues worldwide in developing countries and occurs prominently. In Rwanda, according to Demographic Health Survey in 2019-2020, the prevalence of stunting was 33.0% while 8.0% were underweight. The aim of the study was conducted to determine nutritional status and associated factors in order to plan and alleviate child malnutrition among children under five years at Ruhango Health Center and its catchment area. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted. All children (200) were included with their caregivers who visited to the health center from August to September 2022. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data. Descriptive statistics using counts and proportions were computed to describe the basic characteristics of respondents. Chi-square test was used to establish factors associated with children undernutrition. Multivariable logistic regression model was performed to control the confounding variables. The level of significance was set at 5%. Ethical clearance to collect data was obtained from Mounty Kenya University. The study showed that most of the children were aged between 6 to 24 months (94.5%) and males were 52.0% compared to 48.0% of their female counterparts. The study concludes that the prevalence of under nutrition was relatively high but lower than the national average with respondent factors that are associated malnutrition. Therefore, public health sector and local government should increase access to clean water and also to increase the awareness of caregivers on balanced diet.
