- Internet of Things has made small objects and things to be networked and interconnected, and even connected to the Internet in order to offer advanced control and monitoring services. Smart embedded devices along with intelligent decision-making ability will increase the efficiency of services in different domains including a smart grid. A smart grid is an electrical power system that contains all of the activities of the electrical power system connected together by a smart communication system. It includes main energy generation sources, renewable energy resources, smart meters, and smart appliances. It uses communication technology to improve fault detection, reduce power waste and enhance the self-healing features of the grid. Smart grids employ various devices for the monitoring, analysis, and control of the grid, deployed at power plants, distribution centers and in consumers’ premises in a very large number. Hence, an smart grids requires connectivity, automation and the tracking of such devices. This is achieved with the help of the Internet of Things. Internet of Things helps smart grids systems to support various network functions throughout the generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption of energy by incorporating Internet of Things devices (such as smart meters, sensors and actuators), as well as by providing the connectivity, automation and tracking for such devices. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive survey on the Internet of Things of smart grids systems. This survey also highlights the open issues, challenges and future research directions for Internet of Things of smart grid systems. wide adoption in information sensing, transmission and processing,

Microbial desalination cells (MDCs) are considered as a new clean sustainable technology for simultaneous treatment of wastewater, desalination of saline water, and power generation. In this study, the performance of a stacked microbial desalination cell (SMDC) contained three desalination chambers was investigated. This SMDC which designed with three desalination chambers was fed with real domestic wastewater to the anode and actual wetland saline water to the desalination chambers. The results revealed that maximum COD removal efficiency, desalination efficiency, power generation, and coulombic efficiency were 100%, 96.8%, 877mW/m, 6.92%, respectively. These promising results indicated the validity of using SMDC for simultaneous desalination of actual wetland saline water, treatment of sewage treatment, and power generation. KeywordsStacked microbial desalination cell, , Power generation, Saline water, Biotreatment.

-E-learning can be defined as one of the ways of teaching with the use of the latest means of communication, remote as well as in classrooms. The E-learning Platform helps the learners to learn in anytime and from anywhere also includes educational material that expands the learners' knowledge. The existing tools of learning are 2-D visualization tools, and that is complicating to the construction of the mental models of the 3-D anatomical structures which consist of elements of width, depth, and breadth. For the sake of overcoming this issue, a virtual 3-D tool of the anatomical visualization has been advanced and assessed according to the technology of the virtual reality which runs on the web. In this study, an E-learning platform for anatomy laboratories has been built depending on the webGL and ADDIE model to be used for the Higher Health Professions Institute The proposed platform contains many pages that include many learning resources to the learners such as E-books, video lectures, documents, 3D images, 3D models for human organs and students can interact with those organs, in addition to that, it provides the ability of communications between instructors and other learners, through the chats. The platform has been tested and evaluated by 20 teachers and 87 students from the Higher Health Professions Institute in Iraq and the results showed that the platform motives them toward their lessons and increase their understanding of human anatomy.
