Software Defined Radio (SDR) supports different wireless standards in a single radio device. This can be done by digital signal processing. In digitized form different wireless standards requires different sample rates for baseband processing. Sample rate conversion (SRC) is required for this purpose. In SRC, Comb-Integrator-Comb (CIC) filter plays an important role. Multistage CIC filter provides better stopband characteristics but passband response deteriorates. A FIR filter cascaded in series with CIC filter provides desired transition band. This paper discusses about basic characteristics and structure of FIR filter. Then it discusses the implementation of FIR filter as decimator and interpolator, poly-phase implementation of FIR filter and shows the simulated response of CIC filter when cascaded with FIR filter. Lastly, it also tries to implement CIC filter efficiently in polyphase representation.

In this paper new concept of implementing a reconfigurable filter in antenna is defined. Filter is employed in UHF antenna and reconfiguration is achieved by incorporating switches in the filter. The integration of filter along with antenna makes it suitable for cognitive radio applications. It performs function of band pass filter and tunable bandpass frequency operation is achieved.

In data centric organization, cloud is used as a computational and storage purpose. But the main problem of this organization is data retrieving in efficient manner. To solve this problem a framework is required to retrieve data from thousands of machine. The main purpose is to design a web server in the map phase which will give a fast and efficient way of retrieving data. In Hadoop architecture, MapReduce is a programming model and HDFS is a file system which is used for storing large data.

“Sense Disambiguation” is a simple task of assigning appropriate sense (meaning) for an ambiguous word in a given context. Word sense disambiguation is very crucial, and it is used in many application of computational linguistics. In Natural Language Processing, many methods are available for performing the word sense disambiguation. In our proposed work, we are using Graph-based algorithm, through which word ambiguity is resolved based on their senses and context domain. In Graph-based algorithm, a graph is created that comprises the word which is to be disambiguated with their corresponding candidate sense. In the proposed work, sense disambiguation has been done for Marathi language words. Through Marathi WordNet [4] prepared by IIT-Bombay, multiple senses of Marathi word has been explored.

Network security is a method used to prevent the unauthorized access or modification on computer network. Information security is the process of guarding the confidential data from the unlicensed users. Data leakage happens when a system is designed to be closed to a listener reveals some information to unauthorized parties on the other hand. In this paper we proposed the survey about recent research techniques issued for detecting data leakages in a novel way. It emphasis the classification of the existing literature, developing perspective and evaluating trend.

Logo is used for identity purpose and logo matching is one of the challenge in the recent era in a various applications to meet customers expectations for a product or to discover improper use of logo. Most of the author contributed in this domain, traditionally edge detector and shape detectors are used for this purpose. But still there are some difficulties in logo matching like different images contains logo with different shapes and size, location of logo is not fixed in each image and occlusion problem etc. For these types of logo, traditional methods become fail. To overcome the problem associated with traditional method in this paper literature survey of previous and recent work is presented, in which different descriptors i.e SURF, SIFT, HOG, methods and hybrid version of descriptor i.e ORB used for logo matching. This paper presents a concise review on logo matching and recognition and expected to be useful for researchers who working both on logo matching and object recognition, providing a most comprehensive and accessible information of this important field of research.

As an energy carrier, Hydrogen can be used by combining with electricity in an innovative overall energy system. All primary resources such as fossil fuels, renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydro, geothermic, biomass) and nuclear power could be used for its production and can be termed as one of the advantages of using hydrogen as an energy carrier. The use of hydrogen to balance wind power generation is also detailed. The different techniques for production and storage of hydrogen are discussed. The various applications of hydrogen in transportation and load leveling are presented.

In this paper, we have described an effective implementation of an intelligent remote monitoring system for solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) which is used in a greenhouse environment. The proposed system design can be installed in solar PV PCU in order to solve management problems, maintenance and shortens the mean time to repair. We have designed a smart remote monitoring system based on internet of thing for monitoring Solar PV PCU. This system had incorporated remote monitoring for solar PV PCU through internet using host, network GPRS (Global Positioning Radio Service), embedded system gateway and other components. The result of our demonstration shows that the system can monitor store and manipulate data from solar PV PCU. Thus, the remote monitoring functions are realized in real-time.

Data mining is a technology using which we can extract useful information from data. There are two major issues in data mining first is privacy violation and and second is discrimination. Discrimination is the unfair treatment with respect to the features that should not be considered while decision making. With respect to human, it is when people are given unfair treatment on the basis of their sensitive features like gender, race, religion etc. Discrimination can be of two types direct discrimination and indirect discrimination. Direct discrimination consists of training rules based on sensitive attributes like religion, race, community etc. Indirect discrimination is a discrimination which occurs when the decisions are taken on non-sensitive attributes but these attributes are closely related to direct discriminatory attributes. Automated decision making systems uses data mining techniques to train the system for decision making. Data form the previous work is used for the rule generation to train the system. At first sight, we can say that automating decisions systems are fair in decision making, but if the training data sets are itself discriminatory then the the system cannot be free from discrimination. To remove such discrimination we have discrimination discovery and prevention techniques in data mining. This paper mainly focuses direct discrimination removal from the data.

In agriculture fields or lawns watering systems such as sprinklers or drip water wires are fitted to feed the plants to reduce human load. Normally sprinkler systems operate with respect to time, which means if we program it on 9 am it will be on even if rain occurs during that particular time. Since water is a precious resource we need to use it very carefully. Here we are proposing an idea of smart sprinkle system where human interaction and automation are combined. A soil sensor is used which gives the moisture content in the soil. If the moisture content is bellow particular level the sprinkler systems automatically gets on. We have also integrated current weather report, which can be used to augment the system. Based upon the weather data, watering the plants can be delayed for few days if there is rain prediction in the immediate days.
