High-voltage phasing test using a contactless sensor 使用非接触式传感器的高压分相测试

We propose a novel contactless measurement technique for detecting the phasing of double overhead transmission lines which are used to supply power to a transformer in the substation. Different from traditional contactless methods whose sensors should be quite close to measured overhead lines, the proposed method uses a electric fled (EF) sensor located on the ground to measure the ground-level electric field distribution. Then, the remote contactless phasing test method can be realized based on the distribution waveform. The proposed method has been validated by experimental tests on a reduced scale model of double overhead transmission lines.

People counting in smart buildings 人们在智能建筑里数数

Today almost everyone carries a mobile device. The authors test whether these devices may be used to ascertain the number of people in a building. The number of mobile devices present (number of persons) is determined using methods that capture network packets sent by mobile devices using the 802.11 protocol. The packets are captured using a Wi-Fi scanner, a hardware device that allows information to be gathered from 802.11/a/b/g/n/ac networks. The number of people in a building with an adequate count of Wi-Fi scanners may be determined with a definite probability which, aside from its statistical importance, might also be key in emergency situations in which it is imperative to determine how many people are inside a particular building.

Multipath delay spread measurement for indoor wireless device-to-device communications 室内无线设备对设备通信的多径延迟扩展测量

One of many ways in increasing the system capacity and spectral efficiency aside from adding the number of base stations is the implementation of device-to-device (D2D) communication. In D2D communication, user is allowed to communicate with other user directly via D2D link controlled by BS. However, it is known that indoor environment cause multipath, which can be more severe for communicating devices that are located in a rack together with other objects. Therefore, the channel measurement of indoor D2D communication for devices in a rack is important to do. The measurement in this paper covers NLOS propagation with 3 pairs of transmitter and receiver locations in rack environment. Finally, baseband complex channel impulse response and average power delay profile of device-to-device communication are observed. From the result, the statistic of the measured multipath delay spread was observed that the value of mean excess delay were below 20 ns. It was also found that the longer the distance (i.e., difference of levels in the rack between transmitter and receiver) the higher the delay spread.

A PWM switch model of isolated full-bridge converter 隔离式全桥变换器的PWM开关模型

The PWM switch method has been used to investigate the effect of the transformer leakage inductance on the small-signal model in an isolated full-bridge converter. In this paper, a PWM switch model of full-bridge converter works in continuous current conduction mode has been derived, and the leakage inductance can be expressed as a resistance in model. Under the different load and different leakage inductance conditions, the proposed model can correctly show the system characteristics in frequency domain.

New hybrid control for wide input full-bridge LLC resonant DC/DC converter 宽输入全桥LLC谐振DC/DC变换器的新型混合控制

In order to achieve low switching frequency range and high efficiency for a wide-input LLC resonant converter, a new hybrid control combining pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) and phase-shift pulse-width modulation (PS-PWM) is proposed. In the new control, the LLC converter has two operation modes, i.e PFM and PFM+PS-PWM. The new control scheme and operation principle is analyzed deeply, and then efficiency optimization can be carried out by the proposed design procedure for the resonant tank of LLC converter. Finally, a prototype is developed with input voltage range from 22V to 45V, and rated power of 250W and output voltage of 380V. The experiment shows that the peak efficiency of LLC converter reaches to 96.2%, and verifies the proposed control scheme, design.

Design of smart home mobile application with high security and automatic features 设计具有高安全性和自动化功能的智能家居移动应用程序

With the advancement of technology nowadays, the number of electrical home appliances increases, especially for the Internet of Things (IoT) based smart home. Therefore, human becomes immensely dependent with electricity. However, many of us do not aware with the use of electricity. Hence, a lot of energy are just wasted away and thus we are potentially subjected to an expensive electricity bill. In this paper, we propose a mobile application which is able to be run on Android based smartphone. The app is designed to have a high security by implementing a double encryption method, using both RSA and AES algorithm, to encrypt the communication data. Besides, it also has other security features, including privilege and autolock. Moreover, the app can also intelligently control the appliances automatically using the scenario and scheduling feature.

Interleaved three-level bi-directional DC-DC converter and power flow control 交错三电平双向DC-DC变换器及潮流控制

An interleaved three-level bi-directional DC-DC converter topology was proposed for high voltage, high power applications in the paper, which has simple structure and is suitable for single bus DC microgrid. The three-level inverter switching tubes voltage stress decrease to a half of the output of the high voltage side, while the interleaved parallel technology can reduce the inductance value, improve the converter dynamic performance and enlarge the converter capacity for applications in the energy storage units. The operating principle of the proposed interleaved three-level bi-directional DC-DC converter as well as the influence of the duty cycle on the operating state were analysed. The converter flying capacitor voltage control was presented, bidirectional power control method and the mode switching was studied in order to realize the bidirectional flow of power. Finally the experimental result is analysed to verified the correctness of the interleaved three-level bi-directional DC-DC converter and the effectiveness of the converter control strategy.

Research on probability density modeling method of wind power fluctuation based on nonparametric kernel density estimation 基于非参数核密度估计的风电波动概率密度建模方法研究

Since the research on probability density distribution model of wind power fluctuation is of great importance for wind power integration and operation, this paper proposes a novel modeling method for the wind power fluctuation probability density based on nonparametric kernel density estimation. Firstly, the fluctuation components of wind power are extracted by wavelet decomposition to build a model involved bandwidth optimization, which is based on nonparametric kernel density estimation. Then a bandwidth optimization model is built constrained by goodness of fit test. Finally, constrained ordinal optimization is adopted to solve the model. Simulation results show that the model constructed by nonparametric kernel density estimation is determined by sample data without a prior probability density distribution, therefore this modelling method features with higher accuracy and more general applicability. In addition, an improved strategy proposed in this paper for nonparametric kernel density estimation also greatly improves the modeling accuracy and computational efficiency.

The principle of power system energy management for HEV is presented in this paper, and energy management strategies from the country and the abroad are reviewed, their advantages and disadvantages are also analyzed. The paper concludes the existing problems of those strategies, and looks forward to the development trends of energy management strategy. Aiming at the problem of the misbalance in practical and global optimization using traditional energy management strategies, a new energy management strategy for HEV based on Pontryagin's Minimum Principle (PMP) is developed, which research the intent of the driver and the operation state identification of HEV based on Markov theory, in full consideration of the people-vehicle-road influence on power management control system, and finally, the problem of global optimum in energy management in case of variation of real operating conditions is solved.

Simulations of network bottlenecks in smart grids 智能电网中网络瓶颈的模拟

Using power distribution infrastructure for communication channels is experiencing a renaissance in the context of Smart Grid landscape. Smart Grid objectives include the integration of intermittent renewable energy sources into the electricity supply chain, securing reliable electricity delivery, and using the existing electrical infrastructure more efficiently. Unfortunately, current power grid infrastructure sometimes cannot provide high quality transmission channel due to channel interference, node distance or delay caused by included repeaters. This is the reason why network bottlenecks can appear in specific parts of the communication chain. This situation can then prevent data from reaching the destination nodes or delay significantly its arrival. In this paper, authors propose simulation scenario where the network congestion in case of network bottleneck is observed. First, the attention is focused on the available simulation tools most commonly used in similar Smart Grid scenarios. Then simulation of the behaviour of data transmission with different throughput values of bottleneck channels is provided. Obtained transmission time and calculated throughput in created network topology are evaluated with respect to requirements to PLC communication within the Smart Grid.
