A mu!tiple regression analysis of 5g cli-rnatic factors was done to explain'the abnormal of [[he phenomenon could be satisfactorily explained by the absolute value of the prodacts of winter preeipitation and coId-ness index. The value, snowdrifts duration index (SDI), was related closely tQ the duration of snew-drifts.
