The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts and obstacles of Candi Ilmu Library in fostering a culture of literacy in children in Candirejo Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection process uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. For data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study explain that the efforts made by Candi Ilmu Library to foster a culture of literacy are by recruiting competent members using Facebook social media and direct invitations by the library, providing services to the community in the form of circulation services, reading in place, writing guidance, reference services to entertainment services for children, in addition to performing services Candi Ilmu Library also promotes using social media methods, direct contact, public relations, and conducts collection management to make it easier for children to retrieve library materials. The efforts made by Candi Ilmu Library to foster a culture of literacy in children are supported by innovations in the form of work programs and regulations. The work program includes competitions, social education, academic support activities, and training that supports reading literacy, cultural literacy and science literacy. However, in carrying out these efforts, Candi Ilmu Library is constrained by the quality of volunteers, collections that have not developed and are not in accordance with the needs of adult users, budget funds that cannot maximize work programs, and also undisciplined users. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya dan kendala Perpustakaan Candi Ilmu dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi pada anak di Desa Candirejo, Kecamatan Ponggok, Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Perpustakaan Candi Ilmu untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi ialah dengan merekrut anggota-anggota yang kompeten dengan menggunakan media sosia Facebook dan ajakan secara langsung oleh pihak perpustakaan, memberikan layanan kepada masyarakat berupa layanan sirkulasi, baca ditempat, bimbingan menulis, layanan referensi hingga layanan hiburan untuk anak-anak, selain melakukan layanan Perpustakaan Candi Ilmu juga melakukan promosi dengan menggunakan metode media sosial, kontak langsung, hubungan masyarakat, serta melakukan pengelolaan koleksi untuk mempermudah anak-anak melakukan temu kembali bahan pustaka. Upaya yang dimiliki oleh Perpustakaan Candi Ilmu guna menumbuhkan budaya literasi pada anak didukung dengan adanya inovasi yang berupa program kerja dan juga peraturan. This research is to explore the preservation activities of the ancient newspaper collection at the National Press Monument. The research method used descriptive qualitative. Data were collected from informants through observation, interviews and documentation. The research data was then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings of the research show that the preservation policy of the ancient newspaper collection at the National Press Monument are side on the Ministry of Communication and Information Law Number 6, 2022, Standard Operating Procedure, and SKP. The preservation activities carried out with preventive, curative, and restorative actions. Preventive activities include setting room temperature, air humidity, lighting, preventing human damage, and binding. Curative action through fumigation and Restorative action by patching and connecting torn and perforated paper, repairing damaged bindings, and re-binding collections that have been repaired. Digitization was also carried out to overcome the limited space for documentation, to prevent damage caused by users, and to facilitate searching. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi kegiatan pelestarian koleksi koran kuno di Monumen Pers Nasional. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Data-data yang dihimpun dari informan didapat melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Data penelitian kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian, dan kemudian diambil kesimpulan. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pelestarian koleksi koran kuno Monumen Pers Nasional didasarkan pada Peraturan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Nomor 6 Tahun 2022, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), dan Sistem Kinerja Pegawai (SKP). Kegiatan pelestarian dilakukan dengan tindakan yang bersifat preventif, kuratif, dan restoratif. Kegiatan preventif berupa pengaturan suhu ruangan, kelembaban udara, pencahayaan, pencegahan kerusakan faktor manusia, dan penjilidan. Tindakan kuratif dilakukan dengan fumigasi dan tindakan Restoratif dengan menambal serta menyambung kertas yang robek dan berlubang, memperbaiki jilidan yang rusak, dan menjilid kembali koleksi yang sudah diperbaiki. Digitalisasi dilakukan untuk mengatasi terbatasnya ruang dokumentasi, mencegah kerusakan akibat pengguna, dan untuk memudahkan pencarian. Literacy has an important role for the community in discovering certain information, one of which is history. Historical literacy is a part of literacy in which the historical literacy is able to recognize the values and information within the past. The objectives of this study were: 1) to find out on how the Tapak Jejak Kadhiri Community developed the historical literacy to the citizens of Kediri, 2) to know the supporting and inhibiting factors of Tapak Jejak Kadhiri Community in developing historical literacy. This study utilized descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study were interview, observation and documentation. Whereas the data analysis used the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this study indicated that the Tapak Jejak Kadhiri Community has several activities to develop historical literacy, namely having a reading gallery, opening reading booths, exhibitions, visiting ancient sites, publishing sites through Facebook and YouTube, screen printing kawi script t-shirts, kawi script online classes, and organizing inter-community activities. In addition, the supporting factors are getting book donations, community support and receptiveness, and photos of inscriptions online Kawi script class learning support. As for the inhibiting factors, namely limited costs and energy, inadequate vehicles, uncertain seasonal conditions and lack of interest in participating in kawi script online classes. ABSTRAK Literasi memiliki peran yang penting untuk masyarakat dalam menemukan suatu informasi salah satunya yaitu sejarah. Literasi sejarah merupakan bagian dari literasi dimana dengan literasi sejarah dapat mengetahui nilai-nilai dan informasi pada masa lampau. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu:, 1) untuk mengetahui cara Komunitas Tapak Jejak Kadhiri untuk mengembangkan literasi sejarah kepada masyarakat Kediri. 2) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat Komunitas Tapak Jejak Kadhiri dalam mengembangkan literasi sejarah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Komunitas Tapak Jejak Kadhiri memiliki kegiatan untuk mengembangkan literasi sejarah yaitu memiliki galeri baca, membuka lapak baca, pameran, kunjungan situs purbakala, publikasi situs melalui media sosial Facebook dan Youtube, sablon kaos aksara kawi, kelas online aksara kawi dan menyelenggarakan kegiatan antar komunitas. Selain itu untuk faktor pendukungnya yaitu tersedianya donasi buku, dukungan dan keterbukaan masyarakat, dan adanya foto prasasti sebagai penunjang pembelajaran kelas online aksara kawi. Sedangkan untuk faktor penghambat yaitu terbatasnya biaya dan tenaga, kendaraan yang kurang memadai, kondisi musim yang tidak menentu dan kurang ketertarikan untuk mengikuti kelas online akasara kawi.

Leaders with their leadership style can influence employees to improve performance at work and able to create a climate of communication that can affect employee productivity. This study aims to describe the leadership style and communication model applied at the Central Library of UIN Sumatra Utara Medan. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytic approach. The data collected is the result of observation, interviews and literature studies. From this study it can be seen that the head of the librarian as the leader of the North Sumatra UIN Library involves subordinates in making decisions, the head of the librarian is willing to accept suggestions and involve subordinates in decision making which is a characteristic of a democratic leadership style and the communication that is carried out is in the form of interactive communication and flows upward and down. This means that the process of conveying messages from the head of the librarian to subordinates and vice versa is accompanied by a direct response.

The development of technology makes information very needed as well as the library which can be categorized as a gathering place for information. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the library's performance is not optimal. The purpose of the study was to determine the existence of libraries in the new normal era and the strategies used by librarians in maintaining their existence and increasing interest in visiting the Tulungagung Regional Library. The researcher used descriptive qualitative method. The informants used in this study were the head of the library, librarians, and users. The results showed that the existence of the Tulungagung Regional Library was quite good even though there were still shortcomings because the procurement of books had decreased. However, the library also opens an ebook application service and an online storytelling program for children called DoReMi in collaboration with several institutions. The condition of the library building is also still lacking, but the role of the librarian is quite good. Interest in visiting the library has also decreased, but public enthusiasm for visiting the library remains high. The strategies taken by librarians are not many, they are only able to adapt, implement and maximize existing services, create an online storytelling program for children called DoReMi and ebook applications, enforce improvised regulations and intensify online promotions and outreach to the public. This is because the Tulungagung Regional Library is still hindered by government regulations.

Literacy is one aspect as a basic ability that must be possessed by someone, not only in educational institutions but in broad community forums. A person's literacy ability will make it easier for someone to understand and receive information. The aims of this study are: 1) To analyze the role of teachers in utilizing the reading corner program at MI Mansyaul Huda Gunungsari Bojonegoro. 2) To analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors of the reading corner program at MI Mansyaul Huda Gunungsari Bojonegoro. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used the Miles and Hubberman method. The results of this study indicate that through the Reading Corner Program implemented by MI Mansyaul Huda Gunungsari Bojonegoro, there are several identified teacher roles in improving students' literacy skills, namely the teacher being a facilitator and evaluator, the teacher being the person in charge of providing understanding, and the teacher encouraging students' literacy skills, through learning activities or the available Reading Corner Program. Supporting and inhibiting factors in this study, namely the first supporting factors, namely facilities, school culture, and community encouragement. Factors inhibiting student interest in learning and an environment that is not conducive. Supporting or inhibiting factors are important for teachers or educational institutions to identify, especially as a form of evaluation so that the learning carried out can run even better.

The family is the first organization where a person socializes and gets education. In one family creates an archive of everyone in the family. The archives produced in a family are important documents in the phase of human life, ranging from marriage certificates, birth certificates, family cards, and other documents. Maintenance of archival documents in a family is an important thing that must be done, to maintain the integrity of the documents and information contained therein. In rural communities, the management and maintenance of family records is still very minimal in information, so it is not uncommon for family records to be neglected and lost, due to the lack of awareness of family members to maintain their archives. The focus of the research in this study is to look at how to manage digital-based family records and the factors that influence the management of digital-based family records. The method used in this research is a case study. Data were obtained from surveys and literature studies. The results of this study can be seen that people in Indonesia are not fully aware of backing up data from their family archives to anticipate the risk of loss or damage to archives.

State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is a university with the status of a Public Service Agency and is required to improve the quality of its public services, including the quality of services and archive management. This study aims to determine the effect of archivist competence on archive management at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, so it is hoped that the results can be used as a basis for consideration of policy making in managing archives to be better. This study uses a descriptive verification approach that describes the facts and data as they are. The object of this research is the competence of archivists and archive managers and their influence on archive management, with the population being archivists and archive managers at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of this study indicate that the influence of archivist competence is not very significant in archive management at State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang because the influence of knowledge on the performance of the p-value (0.171) > (0.05) has no significant effect, the influence of skills on the performance of the p-value (0.305) > (0.05) had no significant effect, and the effect of attitude on the performance of the p-value (0.069) > (0.05) had no significant effect.

This study aims to describe user education activities in the new normal era. This was motivated by the limitation of face-to-face activities during the new normal period which was then responded by the IAIN Ponorogo library by organize the use of social media in user education activities. This study uses qualitative research with data collection methods is observation, interviews and literature study. The results showed that there were several social media used to promote activities as well as the implementation of user education, such as websites, Instagram, Facebook, Google Form and Youtube to make it easier for students to recognize and utilize library facilities effectively and efficiently. The delivery method used in the implementation of user education activities is through the use of audio-visual uploaded on the Official Youtube of IAIN Ponorogo. The form of activity is directed at library orientation, including introduction to libraries, browsing library collections, borrowing and returning book collection, and procedure uploading student final project.

This paper aims to find out the Islamic Knowledge Management (IKM) Library of the state Islamic religious college (PTKIN) in the new normal era/work from anywhere. Focus on library tacit and explicit knowledge; how to deal with the era of the new normal; and manage Islamic knowledge in the future. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this research, first, in managing Islamic knowledge, the library began to transfer the media of Islamic library materials such as Arabic books with an Islamic approach into pdf form and the organization strengthens the psychology of workers by paying attention to workplace spirituality. The library also facilitates the needs of users for Islamic library materials and referral services through online media such as whatsapp, telegram, and email. Second, then to face the work from anywhere era, the library will prepare things directly after the Covid-19 pandemic and increase the use of information and communication technology (information and Communication Technology / ITC). Second, the PTKIN library did to improve the tacit knowledge of the staff was to use several video conferencing applications to attend webinars on information science and libraries as well as about the Islamic of staff, work groups, and organization. As for explicit knowledge, the PTKIN library during WFH encouraged its staff to be active on social media and make webinars with the theme of information science and libraries. The conclusion of this study shows that libraries can provide services for users by implementing IKM and increasing organizational knowledge during the work from anywhere period.
