This study concerned mainly on the islamic values encountered in human language production and comprehension as a mental process. The production of language of human being positioned in Broca’s area and comprehension of language is located in Wernike’s area which are located in human left brain. The process of language in human brain is very abstract; it could not be directly seen by naked eyes. It was done by activating some features of the brain such as Broca’s area, Wernike’s area, angular gyrus, motor cortex, etc. Based on psycholinguistics theory, ability to speak or produce meaningful sounds were innate in human. Its meant that human were genetically predisposed to learn and use language. The phenomenon were closely related to islamics values that those facts specifically and delibrately created by God; the Almighty Allah with certain purposes and that regularity was shown in the nature of thing in the earth. This research aims at investigating the islamic values encountered in human language production and comprehension. This is a descriptive qualitative reasearch that the researcher herself functioned as the key instrument. It was found out that there were several kinds of islamic values found in human language production and comprehension namely social, moral, economical, and religious values. This study concerns about teaching writing, especially writing narrative text by using picture prompts as media. Picture prompts are believed can make the students relax to study and can encourage them to begin to write. Picture prompts have many advantages in teaching and learning writing. Related to the objective of the study, the aim of this study is to find whether picture prompts can help the students to get higher scores or not. This research will be done in UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in Arabic Language and Literature Department with the research object of class A for experimental group and class B for control group. The objective of the study is to investigate the effectiveness of using picture prompts in writing class in helping students write narrative texts. The quasi-experimental research design will be used in writing this research. This research design was chosen because it was impossible for the researcher to randomize the subjects to the intended conditions. This was due to the fact that moving the students from one class to another in order to get the ideal groups for the sake of the experiment was not allowed. As the study deals with the students of two different classes, the explanation about teaching-learning processes will be applied to it. In the processes, the researcher will conduct pretest to know the students’ writing ability before getting treatment of writing narrative using picture prompts. After the treatment, the researcher conducts posttest to compare the result and to discover whether the students get higher score or not. Then the results of the research between two subjects will be analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for The Social Science) data analysis of group pair data. The phenomenon of religious radicalism has become a global threat of the 21st century that phenomenon was a result of Islam as anaccused religion and was often associated with a terrorist religion. Educational institutions often "suspected" in creating of terrorists’ generations because the content material of Islamic Religious Education Study was dogmatic, indoctrinated, and related to proselytizing spirit that confirms truth claims. Anyway, substance of instructional materials used in senior high school does not contain inclusive religious content so it can create an exclusive and intolerant religious behavior among senior high school students. The aim of this study; 1).Providing foothold among students of theological and sociological thinking and behavior in order to have an inclusive and tolerant religiosity 2).Deploying and seeding ideas and behavior of an inclusive and tolerant religiosity as a form of resistance ideology (de-radicalization). 3). Filling the void literature Islamic Religious Education Study particular model of inclusive diversity relevant to mainstream Islam in Indonesia. To counteract the religious radicalism among students, the teaching material of Islamic Religious Education Study must contain religious inclusive content incorporating the teachings of Islam as a religion Rahmatan Lil Alamin, a religion of tolerance which is supported by the argument of the Qur'an and hadith. By using this model of teaching materials is expected of senior high school students have an inclusive religious behavior that is relevant to the character and Indonesian Islam mainstream in order to prevent radicalism behavior among senior high school students. In their daily activities, people will need to interact with other people. In this interaction, people use language as a means of communication. A conversation, as a way of people doing communication, can only take place by the presence of both speakers and hearers under a particular circumstance. As one of the pragmatic aspects, cooperative principle becomes something that should be noticed in a conversation. Grice (1975) said that the conversation will run well if both of the speaker and hearer obey the rules of conversation which he arranged into four conversational maxims, namely Maxim of Quantity, Maxim of Quality, Maxim of Relevance, and Maxim of Manner. For Islamic followers, these conversational rules, however, have long time been known well since Islam has ruled its people to treat other people well in all aspects, not to mention in speaking. This present article will see how Grice’s conversational maxims, which were proposed in 1975, are in line with the Islamic conversational rules which were mentioned in Quran and hadith long time ago, since 600s. It means that this broadly-known pragmatic theory is not something new in Islam. It is also to prove that Islam, to some extent, is the source of knowledge and value which are often developed further by western scholars. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang upaya kepemimpinan spiritual dalam mengembangkan budaya mutu dan realitas budaya mutu yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus tunggal, dengan memusatkan perhatian pada sekolah swasta Islam SMA Plus Muthahhari di bawah naunganYayasan Muthahhari Bandung. Data primer diperoleh dari sumber primer yaitu kepala sekolah, para guru, tenaga kependidikan, siswa dan orangtua murid. Data sekunder berupa qualitative document seperti disertasi, jurnal, dokumen-dokumen serta sumber dan data penunjang lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipan,dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis integratif, dengan cara data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan tiga cara yaitu, organisasi data, reduksi data dan penyajian data. Untuk pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan; kredibilitas data dengan teknik triangulasi, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan kepemimpinan spiritual dalam mengembangkan budaya mutu adalah: 1) artikulasi dan sosialisasi visi dan misi sekolah dilaksanakan cukup intens, 2) Muthahhari sebagai simbol pengembangan Ulul al-Bab, 3) penghargaan dan sanksi yang diberikan dalam bentuk ekstrinsik dan intrinsik, 4) hubungan yang terjadi di sekolah adalah hubungan sosial, emosional dan spiritual. Adapun realitas budaya mutu yang dikembangkan adalah: 1), budaya empati, 2) budaya kritis, 3) budaya inovatif, dan 4) budaya inklusif pluralis. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Spiritual, budaya mutu

Integration of Islamic science in English language learning for Muslim students is a necessity that should be realized by every teacher, especially in developing teaching materials that are applied in the classroom. This study aims at finding out the perception of STAIN Watampone students particularly Islamic Education program that have taught English by using integrated Islamic science material. Using interviews, it was revealed that the students give positive attitudes toward the implementation of Islamic science into teaching English material. The result shows that the use of integrated English and Islamic material can produce a lot of interest and a make learning activities more effective and efficient. This gives an indication that the teacher or the stake holder can formulate the integrated teaching materials to suit the needs and interests of students. Artikel ini membahas tentang “Sandak” yaitu salah satu bentuk muamalah yang lazim dikenal di kalangan masyarakat Sasak. Sandak merupakan bentuk transaksi yang bernilai ekonomis-komersial dalam upaya pemanfaatan lahan pertanian. Tidak ada padanan istilah yang fixed bagi Sandak dalam disiplin ilmu fiqh. Ada yang menyebutnya sebagai “pinjam uang pinjam tanah”, “jual beli sementara”, dan bahkan ada yang menyebutnya sebagai bentuk lain dari gadai.Sebenarnya tradisi Sandak bisa diklasifikasikan sebagai salah satu modus operandi praktek muamalah pada umunya, seperti jual beli, sewa-menyewa, pinjam meminjam, muzarah dan lain sebagainya. Namun, bila praktek sandak tersebut dibedah secara detail dengan teori al-Rahn (gadai), al-Qardh (pinjam meminjam), dan al-Riba dalam perspektf madzhab fiqh, maka akan ditemukan unsur-unsur yang kontroversial dan dilarang. Padahal muslim Sasak secara mayoritas adalah penganut setia madzhab Syafi’i. Di sinilah menariknya masalah ini untuk dikaji. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa masyarakat Sasak telah secara sadar atau tidak mengadopsi sistem bermadzhab secara eklektif (takhayyur). Mereka lebih memilih berlindung di balik pandangan madzhab Hanafi yang dirasa lebih akomodatif terhadap praktek Sandak. Dalam hal ini, ada dua model transaksi untuk melegalkan praktek sandak. Pertama, masyarakat mengambil opsi transaksi “permohonan izin dalam penggarapan sawah” sebagai bentuk aqad sandak yang diakui oleh mazhab Hanafi. Sementara cara yang lain adalah apa yang disebut dengan “Ba’y al-Wafa’” yaitu satu bentuk transaksi dalam rangka memenuhi hajat, dengan alasan “al-hajat tanzîl manzila al-dlarura ‘âmmah wa khâshshah”. Di desa Banyumulek terdapat dua masjid yang sekarang menjadi satu, masjid itu diberinama Masjid Kembar Menara Tunggal, sebelum masjid Kembar Menara Tunggal, sekitar enam puluh tahun yang lalu, berdiri salah satu masjid yang diberi nama Masjid Nurul Badiah, yang letaknya di Banyumulek Barat. Awalnya keberadaan masjid ini dimanfaatkan oleh warga Banyumulek sebagai tempat untuk beribadah dan sebagai pusat kegiatan keagamaan sebagaimana lazimnya. Namun Seiring berjalannya waktu, terjadi kesalahpahaman antar tokoh pemuka agama dan pengurus masjid itu. Sejak munculnya perbedaan pemahaman keagamaan ini, akhirnya konflik terbuka sesama jama’ah Masjid Nurul Badi’ah tidak dapat terelakkan, yang pada akhirnya jama’ah yang tidak sependapat mendirikan masjid baru yang lokasinya sangat berdekatan dengan Masjid Nurul Badi’ah, masjid baru tersebut diberi nama Masjid Silaturrahmi yang lokasinya berada di wilayah dusun Banyumulek Timur. Konflik dan ketegangan antar jama’ah terus berlangsung hingga puluhan tahun dan secara turun temurun, hingga pada akhirnya atas inisiatif dari tokoh pemuda pada saat itu, berusaha untuk menyatukan kembali jama’ah yang telah terpecah puluhan tersebut dengan melakukan negosiasi dan koordinasi dengan semua tokoh pemuka agama dan masyarakat, yang pada akhirnya menemukan titik temu untuk mengakhiri konflik yang berkepanjangan, dengan di adakan rapat besar antar dua pengurus masjid (Masjid Nurul Badi’ah dan Masjid Silaturrahmi) yang hasilnya di dalam rapat besar itu bahwa kepengrusan kedua masjid di bubarkan, dan kepengurusan masjid yang baru akan dibuat ulang, serta kedua masjid akan dirombak diganti dengan model masjid yang baru. Agar bangunan masjid bergabung menjadi satu maka dibuatkanlah jembatan penghubung yang sekarang dikenal dengan nama Menara Tunggal sebagai simbol pemersatu. Sejak dimulainya pembangunan Masjid Tunggal menara Tunggal dibangun pada tahun 2009 pertikain antar jamaah dapat diredam dan dapat dipersatukan kembali.
