Abstract: Hypertension has affected on a person's quality of life, particularly on elderly people, including their social life, mental health, and psychological function. As a result, the elderly's quality of life will suffer, as will their life expectancy. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the relationship between the duration of hypertension and the quality of life of those who have hypertension. Patients and methods: A descriptive study with a cross-sectional survey was conducted with participants from the Management of Chronic Diseases Program (Prolanis) in primary care in Muara Dua, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia. We employed a total sampling technique (35 participants) and collected data through guided interviews using WHOQOL-Bref questionnaires. Results: We discovered that participants with hypertension for less than five years were 45.7%, while those with hypertension for more than five years were 54.3%. Physical domain (57.1%), psychological domain (57.1%), and environmental domain (51.4%) all fall into the "good" category of life quality measurement. Meanwhile, social relationship were in the moderate category (42.9%). The following p values demonstrate the association between the duration of hypertension and quality of life: 0.460; 0.719; 0.635; and 0.975. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between hypertension duration and quality of life among hypertensive patients enrolled in the Prolanis Program in Aceh, Lhokseumawe.

Agranulocytosis as adversed effect of antithyroid drug (ATD) in patients with Graves disease is a rare complication but it can be serious and life threatening. The mortality rate 2-10% caused by severe infection as complications. Immediate diagnosis and management are essential for proper treatment and good prognosis. A 35-year-old female with Graves disease was complaining of fever and sore throat. She was initially treated with Thiamizole 1x20 mg for 2 weeks. Physical examination revealed leukoplakia and diffuse struma. Laboratory test : FT4 43 pmol/L, TSHs :0,005 uIu/mL, ANC <100/ul. Patient is diagnosed with ATD induced agranulocytosis. Treatment includes meropenem, fluconazole and GCSFs. The clinical and laboratory parameter improved after two weeks of treatment. Agranulocytosis in Graves’ disease patient which had ATD is a rare occurrence, with an incidence 0,2- 0,5% (66,7% had severe infection). The diagnostic criteria for agranulocytosis caused by ATD are hyperthyroid patients who are confirmed with an increase T4 and/or T3, decrease in TSH, ANC of 1500/ul before receiving ATD, ANC < 500/ul after initiation ATD and other causes of agranulocytosis have been excluded. In fact, most patients had ANC <100/ul. There are no symptom difference with agranulocytosis caused by other cause. High fever and sore throat are the most common symptom. Initial management are to identify, immediately stop the drug use, broad spectrum antibiotics and GCSFs. The hyperthyroidism will continue and alternative therapies should still be given. The best prevention is to educate patient and to examine granulocyte count frequently.

Abstract: The community health public in Indonesia needs to be improved to elevate the quality of life. The waste bank is an activity of a non-governmental program to maintain environmental health by separating the household waste into organic and non-organic categories. The waste bank is managed using a system such as banking conducted by officers. It was proven that waste bank activity has a positive impact on declining waste volume to improve sanitation. However, waste banks are still carried out in volunteering houses, public service houses, and residential paths. Waste banks have many potencies to support either ecotourism or eco-green planning. This study was performed by waste generation and characterization sampling to determine the required size of the waste bank schematic design. The result shows a schematic design model of the Waste Bank building by researching society’s needs for better environmental health. Purpose: This research is to design a waste bank based on public health needs Patients and methods: This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling, with 98 respondents residing in Lhokseumawe city. Data collection was done by 8 days of sampling. Results: The results showed that there is no waste bank building that meets the public health building requirements. There is a schematic design to propose. Conclusion: There is an urgency to have a requirement to waste bank building design to improve sanitation and public health.

This study aims to examine in depth about the stress coping behavior of workers who experience job cuts (layoffs) during COVID-19. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods. Selection of location and research subjects using purposeful sampling techniques. The subjects numbered three people, namely workers who experienced job cuts (layoffs) during the COVID-19 period who lived in Securai Village babalan district of Langkat regency. The data collection methods in this study used interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display, and inference. The study also used all three triangulation of resources, technique, and time. The results of the Depression Anxiety Stress Disorder (DASS 42) questionnaire showed that all three subjects experienced mild stress with an assessment of roughly 18. The stress experienced by the three subjects in the form of sadness, upset, anxious, confused and discouraged when experiencing job cuts (layoffs). The results showed that all three subjects did the coping process, the first initial assessment, secondary assessment, and reassessment and decision. This aims to find out the cause of the problem that occurs, then the three subjects do stress coping. The three subjects used both forms of stress coping, namely problem focused of coping and emotion focused of coping. This can facilitate the process of handling the source of the problem that causes stress. As for a new findings from all three research subjects, the concept of self that affects coping stress is physical, social, moral and psychological

The increase in the haemoglobin levels can be achieved quickly, but the side effects that may occur are also not small. This study aims to determine the relationship between chemotherapy and the incidence of anaemia in breast cancer patients at the Cut Meutia General Hospital, North Aceh Methods: The type of research is analytical, and the method uses a cross-sectional design carried out from October 2021 to March 2022. A total sample of 45 breast cancer patients was taken by total sampling that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The results showed that there were 15 people (16.00) of chemotherapy drugs using the platinum base and antrasiklin for 30 people (26.50). Abstract: Female teachers often use high heels in their work activities, which causes musculoskeletal problems such as hallux valgus. Hallux valgus can cause pain around the first metatarsophalangeal joint. One of the treatments for hallux valgus is a hallux valgus splint which works as a big toe corrector. This study aims to determine the effect of using hallux valgus splints on pain due to hallux valgus on teachers and employees at public elementary schools in the Kemangkon district. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using a hallux valgus splint on pain due to hallux valgus in teachers and employees at State Elementary Schools in Kemongkon District. Patients and methods: This research is a quasi-experimental research with one group pre and posttest design. The subjects in this study were teachers and employees at a public elementary school in the Kemangkon district as many as 22 people with hallux valgus pain. Subjects were given an intervention using a hallux valgus splint and pain measurements were made using a numeric rating scale (NRS). Results: Hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test showed that the use of hallux valgus splint could reduce hallux valgus pain p = 0.000 (p <0.05), statistically there was an effect. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is an effect of using a hallux valgus splint on pain due to hallux valgus on teachers and employees at public elementary schools in Kemangkon District
