Modular web service design for agility and maintainability with unity container 模块化web服务设计,使用统一容器实现敏捷性和可维护性

A key design consideration in software development is that models must be strongly cohesive yet be loose coupled to ensure reusability and maintainability for future deployments. Practice experiences can show how repeatable design concepts are represented and how new service offerings are developed within service-oriented architectures in a flexible manner. A web service architecture configuration (applied by an Australia-NZ car rental car company using distributed database architecture) is described in this paper. We demonstrate how flexibility can be incorporated in the design when new run-time dependencies are injected with version updates. The paper demonstrates the application of two object oriented principles — Inversion of Control and Dependency Injection — with the Microsoft .Net Unity Container libraries. The Unity Container pattern brings agility and ease in testability with a loosely coupled modular design. The paper contributes to design areas of service modularization and shares insights on how practitioners customize service architectures with new service dependencies.

Cylindrical Magneto Rheological Brakes are designed in such a way that it will maximize the field induced braking torque and minimize the weight. Therefore different parameters affecting the torque are studied. These parameters are 1. The effect of structural properties of brake material 2. Magneto Rheological fluid properties 3. Different types of Magneto Rheological Fluids 4. Effect of Particle size 5. Effective working surface 6. Magneto Rheological Fluid composition 7. Temperature 8. Magnetic properties of Brake Material 9. Magnetic field srength. he effect of Nano sized particles in Magneto Rheological Fluid on braking torque and their effect on braking efficiency are investigated in this paper.

Design and development of soft actuator for surgical application 外科用软致动器的设计与研制

In this paper, the aim is to design and develop a bendable soft actuator prototype to overcome the limitations of Surgical Lighting Systems (SLS). Pneumatic bending actuator made of silicone rubber undergoes the desired deformation when each chamber is pressurized. Surgical luminaires are used for illumination of wounds during surgery. For optimal illumination surgical luminaries need to change their orientation several times during surgery. Soft actuator because of flexibility provides advantage to overcome the mechanical singularity faced by existing surgical lighting system. Mathematical model based on geometric deformation has been presented. A fourth degree polynomial approximation has been used for characterize behavior of each chamber of actuator.

Performance comparison and future estimation of time series data using predictive data mining techniques 使用预测数据挖掘技术的时间序列数据的性能比较和未来估计

Time series data mining techniques is applied to data related to women empowerment expenditure released from year 2006 to 2015 data for predicting future estimation of expenditure required for various schemes including all states of India. Two models namely linear regression model and ARIMA model are used for analyzing the future prediction of expenditure required for women empowerment in India. These two model are analyzed with respect to standardized error generated by them, fitted values, residuals, standardized error, square root standardized error are used for forecasting future expenditure prediction. Result shows that both model accurately and approximately predict the same future Expenditure measure.

Resource utilization by pharmaceutical companies in India: Emphasis on R&D, labor and capital 印度制药公司的资源利用:强调研发、劳动力和资本

The growing competition in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry has emphasized that they utilize resources in an effective manner to ensure sustainable growth. Using data of 116 India pharmaceutical companies for the year financial year 2013–14, we find that R&D expenditures are statistically significant along with expenditure on physical and human capital in explaining the sales performance. We also present an alternative framework based on resource utilization for mapping and measuring the performance of a firm and its competitors. Our study shows that the average technical efficiency for the Indian Pharma firms is low and there is also wide variation among the firm. We conclude that resource optimization is a key for the long term sustainable growth of any firm.
