People Like Us: Pop Divas’ Image Deglamourization by Digital Influencers 和我们一样的人:数字影响者对流行天后形象的改造

Digital influencers who spread information about pop divas approach the deglamorization of their lives by paratextualizing activities carried out by them in their daily routines. Accordingly, this current study advocates that this deglamorization process points towards the “topification” of divas’ bodies, since it highlights their urgency to distance themselves from the utopianism required to keep their bodies as glamorized bodies. Thus, its aim is to analyze how Brazilian digital influencers paratextualize pop divas deglamorization process by subjecting influencers’ discourse to Foucault’s Discourse Analysis. The herein analyzed research file comprised news reports published on gossip blogs about pop divas. Results have evidenced two discursive formations: the first one refers to the formation and promotion of pop divas’ image and the second one reveals the support given to them. This result has shown that influencers paratextualize the deglamorization of pop divas by humanizing them.

Intellectual Structure of Export Orientation in International Marketing: A Bibliometric Coupling 国际市场营销中出口导向的知识结构:文献计量学耦合

This study aims to present the structure of export orientation research and clusters over 10 years of research. The bibliometric analysis was made up of 434 articles from the Scopus database. To analyze the extracted data, three bibliometric techniques were applied: Citation Analysis, Keyword Analysis, and Bibliographic Coupling. The results show an exponential increase in research on export orientation research. The study also revealed eight clusters based on publications from the last ten years. The main themes that emerged related to export orientation research include; Marketing performance and export orientation, firm’s productivity and efficiency orientation, local to global upgradation and export orientation, industrial policy, manufacturing and export orientation, technology as a stimulant for change, competitive strategy for export orientation, and value chain coordination. It allows the researcher to better understand the most common issues of the last 5 years and relate these issues to current problems in the international marketplace.

Sustainable Consumption and Practice Theories: Connecting Elements of Clothing Sharing 可持续消费与实践理论:服装共享的关联要素

Changes in lifestyles and clothing consumption patterns as paths to a sustainable society defines sharing as one of the strategies of slow fashion. Through practice theories, this research explores materials, competences and meanings that make up the practice. Thus, we sought to identify how the elements and the dynamics of clothing sharing are configured. Using a qualitative case study, data were collected through observations, semistructured interviews (individual and group), and a focus group carried out with practitioners and providers of a collaborative store. Our results revealed that: (a) for practitioners, the practice of sharing means exclusivity, economy, and sustainable consumption; (b) for providers, the practice is linked to a conscious consumption as an opportunity for more sustainable business, including financially (c) and different materials guide the practice of sharing clothes. The elements of clothing sharing are similar between practitioners and providers; therefore, they indicate the effectiveness of the practice, in addition to pursuing sustainable consumption. The research then contributes to the development of research on sustainable consumption once it identifies management practices aimed at the collaborative consumption of clothing.

As mudanças nos estilos de vida e nos padrões de consumo de roupas, que vêm sendo debatidas como caminhos para uma sociedade mais sustentável, definem o compartilhamento como uma das estratégias do slow fashion para promover o consumo consciente. Por meio das teorias da prática, esta pesquisa explora materiais, competências e significados que compõem a prática. Assim, buscou-se identificar como se configuram os elementos e a dinâmica do compartilhamento de roupas. Utilizando um estudo de caso qualitativo, os dados foram coletados por meio de observações, entrevistas semiestruturadas (individuais e em grupo) e grupo focal, realizados com praticantes (consumidores) e provedores (fornecedores) de uma loja colaborativa. Os resultados revelaram que: (a) para os praticantes, a prática do compartilhamento significa exclusividade, economia e consumo sustentável; (b) para os provedores, a prática está atrelada ao consumo consciente como oportunidade de negócios mais sustentáveis, inclusive financeiramente; e (c) diversos materiais orientam a prática do compartilhamento de roupas. Os elementos do compartilhamento de roupas são semelhantes entre praticantes e provedores, portanto indicam a eficácia da prática, além de buscar um consumo sustentável. A pesquisa, então, contribui para o desenvolvimento de pesquisas sobre consumo sustentável, uma vez que identifica práticas de gestão voltadas ao consumo colaborativo de vestuário.

Dynamic Capabilities and Strategic Control Systems: A Study at Itaipu Binacional 动态能力与战略控制系统:伊泰普两国组织研究

Several studies have thus far linked diverse organizational outcomes as antecedents to dynamic capabilities, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, environmental dynamism, resources, knowledge management, organizational learning, and strategic planning. This study aims to fully assess how the model of strategic levers of control and dynamic capabilities framework are related, considering all conceptual dimensions and the profile of ITAIPU Binacional employees. The data was collected through a survey, and the hypotheses evaluated with the assistance of structural equation modelling, using the partial least squares estimation method. The findings validated the central hypothesis, that the levers of control do positively influence the presence of the dynamic capabilities, in addition to one other complementary hypothesis— that the interactive system also positively influences the ability to sense opportunities. The strategic levers of control can now be treated by organizations as possible sources of dynamic capabilities.

Vários estudos têm vinculado diferentes outcomes organizacionaiscomo antecedentes às capacidades dinâmicas, sendo que se destacam oempreendedorismo, o dinamismo ambiental, os recursos, a gestão doconhecimento, a aprendizagem organizacional e o planejamento estratégico.O presente estudo tem por objetivo avaliar de forma completa, considerandotodas as dimensões conceituais, como se relacionam o modelo das alavancasde controle estratégico e as capacidades dinâmicas, considerando o perfildos empregados da ITAIPU Binacional. Os dados foram coletados pormeio de um survey e as hipóteses avaliadas com o auxílio da modelagem deequações estruturais, empregando-se o método de estimação por mínimosquadrados parciais. Os resultados obtidos validaram a hipótese central deque as alavancas de controle influenciam positivamente a presença dascapacidades dinâmicas, além de uma das hipóteses complementares de que osistema interativo influencia positivamente a presença da capacidade de sentiras oportunidades. As alavancas de controle estratégico podem ser tratadasagora pelas organizações como possíveis fontes de capacidades dinâmicas.

As Controvérsias ESG Influenciam o Valor das Empresas? Uma Análise com Dados Longitudinais em Diferentes Países 环境、社会和治理争议会影响企业价值吗?不同国家的纵向数据分析

Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar a influência das controvérsias ESG no valor das empresas. Foram analisados os dados anuais de 6.325 empresas de 61 países no período de 2002 a 2020. No modelo econométrico desenvolvido utilizaram-se como controvérsias de ESG os índices elaborados pela Refinitiv® e disponibilizados por meio da plataforma Eikon, além das três variáveis como proxy de valor da empresa: Q de Tobin, Market-to-Book e Capitalização de Mercado. This study aims to analyze the influence of ESG controversies on the value of companies. Annual data from 6,325 companies from 61 countries between 2002 and 2020 were analyzed. In the econometric model developed, the indices prepared by Refinitiv®, made available through the Eikon platform, were used as ESG controversies, in addition to the three variables as proxies of company value: Tobin’s Q, Market-to-Book, and Market Capitalization. The results indicate a negative relationship between ESG controversies, and the value of companies measured by Tobin’s Q and Market Capitalization proxies. Considering that the value of a firm represents the estimation of returns, our findings corroborate the view that controversies produce negative effects on the evaluation of future results. It contributes to the literature by demonstrating that ESG controversies affect companies based on global analysis and a deepening understanding of the impacts of corporate irregularities.

Este estudo teve como objetivo validar duas tarefas experimentais de decisão de compra em ambiente de social commerce. Esse termo se refere a interações online e contribuições dos usuários em sites com o intuito de auxiliar na aquisição de bens e serviços. Para tanto, foi desenvolvido um quase-experimento para simular a decisão de reserva de hotel e de compra de um televisor, com a aplicação da técnica de eye tracking para análise do processamento da informação. A validação das tarefas contemplou operacionalização do equipamento eye tracker e validação com especialistas e teste piloto. Por meio das métricas de fixações e dos mapas de calor foram identificadas as áreas de interesse que receberam mais atenção visual dos participantes. Destaca-se que as recomendações de produtos foram o critério mais considerado. Este estudo contribui com a compreensão sobre a busca de informações e a decisão de compra no social commerce.

Validation of Decision-Making Experimental Tasks in a Social Commerce Environment 验证社交商务环境中的决策实验任务

This study aimed to validate two purchase decision experimental tasks in a social commerce environment. This refers to online interactions and their contributions to users on websites in order to assist in their acquisition of goods and services. For that purpose, a quasi-experiment was developed to simulate the decision invoved in making a hotel reservation and purchasing a TV, using the eye tracking technique to analyze the processing of information. Task validation comprised the operationalization of the eye tracker, validation with specialists, and a pilot test. The fixation metrics and heat maps identified the areas of interest that received the most visual attention from the participants. It should be noted that the products’ recommendations were the most considered criterion. This study contributes to understanding the search for information and purchase decisions in social commerce.
