Farmer’s perception of the opportunites offered by drone technology in arable crop production 农民对无人机技术在耕地作物生产中提供的机会的看法

The incredible scale of development in the world requires constant innovation of technologies used in agriculture. Precision agriculture is also one of the most defining trends of our time in drone technology, which represents a revolutionary innovation in arable crop production. Its continuous monitoring provides many opportunities to assess the specific culture, estimate yields, determine water shortages, nutrient deficiencies, and apply other decision support. Frequent flights provide farmers with up-to-date information so that they can respond to changes in status quickly and cost-effectively. The use of drones is also responsible for improving the competitiveness of agriculture, drones and solutions based on them are spreading rapidly around the world. After reviewing the relevant international literature, publications and materials published by stakeholders involved in drone technology, we conducted a questionnaire survey among farmers based in northern Hungary. Commitment and willingness to precision developments were discovered how open they are to modern agriculture achievements, to what extent are they willing to sacrifice technology, especially spray drones, to what extent do they keep in mind aspects related to the environmental load and with what willingness to invest. overall, the perception of precision elements is positive, farmers 71% considers the use of drones in plant protection, for example, a correct and useful idea, which reduces treading damage, chemical use and soil use.

Farmers’ usage of information and communication technologies for integrated farm management: An analytical study focusing on rural households of Bangladesh 农民在综合农场管理中使用信息和通信技术:以孟加拉国农村家庭为重点的分析研究

Agricultural farming consists of multiple components and information related to farm management is one of the crucial factors. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) provide reliable and need based information in an effective way. This study focuses on investigating the extent of ICTs usage for integrated farm management and to clarify the underlying factors in Gauripur upazila (sub-district) under Mymensingh district of Bangladesh. To achieve the purpose of the study, data were collected from 75 randomly sampled farmers using structured questionnaire. Both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were applied to obtain the findings of the study. The findings of the study clearly revealed that the highest proportion of the farmers (46%) had the tendency to use ICTs to a moderate extent. The analytical findings from the study showed that among the socio-demographic attributes annual income, training received, access to information sources and knowledge level were significantly associated with the usage of ICTs by the farmers. The step-wise multiple regression analysis indicated that knowledge on ICT usage, annual income and access to information sources were the most influential factors affecting the usage of ICTs by the farmers. The policy implications of the study suggests paying more attention to increase the operational knowledge and access to ICTs with provision to hands-on training and economic incentives for rural poor farmers. The integrated approach combining both public and private sectors can be effective to improve the extent of ICT usage for efficient farm management.

A B S T R A C T   This article investigates the international iron trade, focusing on the Brazil-China network and its implications for economic and social progress. Iron supports various industries, particularly construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure development. The study employs descriptive analysis, quantitative measures, and correlation coefficients to analyse the dynamics of the iron trade. The research highlights Australia and Brazil as significant exporters in the global iron ore market, with China as the primary importer. Network analysis reveals China's extensive commercial connections and strong trade relationships with key exporting countries. Correlation coefficients demonstrate positive associations between Brazil's Iron Exports, Brazilian GDP, Chinese construction sector GDP, and world construction sector GDP, emphasising their interdependence. Understanding these dynamics is essential for policymakers, economists, and industry stakeholders in navigating the complexities of the global economy. The study provides valuable insights into the international iron trade, its impact on the construction sector, and broader economic dynamics. It contributes to informed decision-making and promotes sustainable economic and social development.

The world's population has been increasing rapidly at an unprecedented rate In recent decades. This increase poses significant challenges to the agricultural and farming sector. With more mouths to feed, old farming techniques can’t meet the demand. It has become increasingly crucial to adopt advanced management techniques and cutting-edge technologies to boost agricultural productivity, reduce harvesting waste and meet the growing demand for food. This necessitates a paradigm shift in managing farms and agriculture, moving from traditional methods to more innovative and efficient approaches. Two approaches that have recently gained considerable attention are Agile management and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Farmers and agricultural managers can streamline their operations, increase efficiency, and improve their decision-making capabilities by adopting Agile and AI. This paper aims to explore the unique benefits and challenges of implementing Agile management and AI technologies in the agricultural sector and provide insights into their potential to revolutionise the industry. A theoretical implementation model was created with tips and guides for implementation.

The data available at the right time and in the right way and the economic calculations that can be produced from them, as well as the presentation of the produced information to managers, are crucial in the decision-making process for the organizations. Wide range of digital solutions has an important role to support the business activities and the decision making in the case of farm management as well. It is important to determine the structure of the data required to base the economic calculations, build a data model and create a multidimensional database, this lays the foundation for the calculation of economic and financial indicators, which can help in making economic decisions. In our article, we present the structure of a process-oriented data warehouse created according to the OLAP (online analytical processing) principle, which is suitable for displaying immediate results and creating analytical queries, as well as for displaying different combinations of variables for making economic decisions.

Ibn Asyur was the second originator who made the concept of Maqashid Syariah into all scientific disciplines after Al Syathabi, in line with the journey of maqashid Syariah to become a field of knowledge. Sharia banking is also the second concept after the presence of conventional banking, but that is not a thing that prevents Islamic banking from continuing to grow and develop to spread benefits. Ibnu Asyur in his thoughts conveyed the similarity between maqashid sharia and the main objective of establishing sharia banking. Maqashid sharia in the perspective of Ibn Asyur can produce indicators of growth and development of sharia banking to be very rapid and of course still useful for Muslims and humanity in general.

In this paper, I present a LoRa spread spectrum networking device that provides significant efficiency improvements over previously used techniques through digital techniques. Subsequently, the LoRaWAN network is presented, which can communicate with the network server available on the Internet through gateways. Their data rate and transmission power can be optimised depending on the distance from the base stations and the time required for communication can be measured in tens of seconds. In the second major part of the article, Internet of Things devices that also communicate with each other using the LoRa network will be presented. It allows smart devices used in our everyday life to communicate, which are supported by sensors and transmitters to record states and perform actions. IoT devices are also becoming increasingly common in agriculture. Farmers who are already using the technology can better monitor their livestock and crops. IoT can also be used effectively in many areas of agriculture, including dairy, vegetable, fruit and greenhouse operations.

Agriculture has a certain specialty in information technology, and the application of new ICT technologies is inevitable. First, we discuss the idea behind data, concepts such as data storytelling, types and proper use of visualisation. There are several well-known visualisation types, but we would like to point out some AI (Artificial Intelligence) based ones (decomposition tree, treemap, Q&A). Our institute has prepared a survey to investigate ICT usage and attitudes of companies in the agri-food sector. The importance of business processes that can be supported by ICT had to be evaluated by the companies. In this study, we evaluated the importance of some ICT indicators. To ensure the use of the mentioned intelligent visualisation, we present some examples from our institute's questionnaire on ICT use in agriculture. We found the smart visualisation usable and the idea of smart dashboards seems to be usable in practice.

Physical Analysis of a Waterproof Temperature Sensor Responsiveness for Agricultural Applications 农业用防水温度传感器响应性的物理分析

This work analysis the responsiveness, accuracy and precision of a low-cost waterproof temperature sensor model DS18B20 and shows that simple procedures can allow these parameters analysis for other common temperature sensors. The water temperature is a parameter highly relevant for agriculture and aquaculture, and besides it has scientific, social and economic aspects that justify the present work, whose results are presented with quantitative parameters and justified according to solid measurement theories. This sensor has a digital design and requires only a very simple hardware to allow its connection to processors and, besides, it presented a very good accuracy and precision in the work tests.

The implication of CSR on the performance of SMEs in the context of a developing economy 发展中经济体背景下企业社会责任对中小企业绩效的影响

While corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been extensively explored from the standpoint of large corporations and developed economies, smaller businesses and developing economies have received little attention. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to be the backbone of most economies, significantly accounting for a major share in economic value creation. This implies that the contribution of SMEs in achieving sustainable development is therefore critical. The study seeks to add to the limited literature by investigating the implication of socially responsible behavior on the performance of SMEs in Nigeria. Corporate reputation, profit maximization and management efficiency are dependent variables used as proxies for performance measurement. A well-structured questionnaire was administered to 63 Nigerian SMEs. The study adopted a structural equation model using SmartPLS for the data analysis. Findings show a significant relationship between corporate social responsibility and the three determinants of firm performance (management efficiency, profit maximization and corporate reputation). This study has implications for owners/managers of SMEs who are keen on improving performance by leveraging on socially responsible behaviour through the development, implementation and communication of a sustainable and acceptable CSR initiative. Recommendations and suggestions for further investigations are made.
