: This article examines the complex situation of the post-pandemic period in relation to the “new normal” that may have become a pathological normal, recognizing that the pandemic (globally) affected everyone (rich and poor, powerful and needy). This fact led to the construction of solidarity that had not been experienced before, as solidarity is the correct articulation of the ethical dignity of the human subject and the equality of subjects in the asymmetry in which they find themselves. It appears that history does not advance in a linear fashion, driven by evolution, but in the form of repetitive cycles, concluding that man seems to be the only animal that stumbles over the same rock.

Por fim, é feita uma análise sobre a crise vivenciada pelo sistema público de saúde brasileiro e a atuação do Estado frente à sua precarização, o que já era uma realidade antes mesmo da chegada do vírus. A metodologia empregada é a qualitativa, mediante pesquisa bibliográfica e estudo de legislações e jurisprudências que abarcam o tema. ABSTRACT: This paper aims to discuss the arrival of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Brazil and its impact on the unified health system, resulting in the instability of the public health system and the alarming increase in the number of uninsured deaths. the proper provision of assistance, whether due to the absence of supplies, beds or even medical labor. For this, the right to health in Brazil and the arrival of the unified health system, as well as its principles and the difficulties faced in its implementation, are discussed at first before arriving at the concept of mythanasia. Based on this concept, social vulnerability, the trivialization of human life and how deaths from mythanasia became even more evident in the COVID-19 pandemic scenario were discussed, especially when the analysis of the number of deaths from mythanasia points out, in its the majority, the vulnerable. Finally, an analysis is made of the crisis experienced by the Brazilian public health system and the role of the State in face of its precariousness, which was already a reality even before the arrival of the virus. The methodology used is qualitative, through bibliographical research and study of legislation and jurisprudence that cover the subject.
