The Impact of the Social Capital of Non-profit Organization Directors on Fund-raising Ability: – Based on the empirical analysis of China foundations 非营利组织董事社会资本对筹资能力的影响——基于中国基金会的实证分析

As the main force of the third sector, China’s non-profit organizations have developed rapidly in recent years. However, the "fundraising dilemma" has become a common bottleneck for the development of most non-profit organizations. Nonprofit organization is discussed in this paper the measurement of social capital, social capital obtained by principal component analysis (PCA) and director of the comprehensive index, through the foundation’s related data, the empirical analysis on the director of the social capital to the organization’s ability to raise a positive impact, and provide empirical evidence for the complete board structure foundation in China.

Password Strength Assessment on a Laptop Device using an Online Password Recovery Tool — Cain & Abel 使用在线密码恢复工具- Cain & Abel对笔记本电脑设备进行密码强度评估

Password cracking procedures are often done using password recovery tools, this has led to attackers using the same technique to obtain access to weak frameworks and infrastructures. The study conducted two trials of strength assessment for (1) weak password and (2) strong password using a Cain & Abel to show the potential risks of both passwords. Two procedures were used for the strength assessment: brute force and dictionary attacks. The findings of this study shows that passwords containing only uppercase and lowercase letters with numbers (3 to 8 characters) are easily exploited. The study concluded that using strong passwords prevent potential cybersecurity attacks because strong passwords require more resources, power, and time to hack.

The Effects of the Fit of Gourmet Internet Celebrities and Their Channels to the Sponsored Product on Purchase Intention: A Meaning Transfer Theory Perspective 美食家网红及其渠道对赞助产品契合度对购买意愿的影响:意义迁移理论视角

Recently, businesses have begun to partner with Internet celebrities and use sponsorship as one of their major marketing strategies. However, how to find an appropriate Internet celebrity to provide sponsorship is the main challenge that businesses are faced with. Also, how to choose an appropriate business as the sponsor which can also reinforce their symbolic meaning is also an issue that Internet celebrities cannot ignore. The objective of this study is to use the Match-Up Hypothesis, Meaning Transfer Model (MTM), and Reverse Transfer Effect Theory as the foundation, questionnaire survey as the method, and gourmet YouTubers as an example to explore how viewers’ perception of the fit of the gourmet Internet celebrity and the channel content to the sponsored product influences their perception of the trustworthiness of the Internet celebrity and their trust in the sponsored product and further affects their intention to buy the product. The results reveal that when the sponsored product is highly congruent with the Internet celebrity's personal image and channel content, the congruence can reinforce the celebrity's trustworthiness meaning, induce a transfer of that meaning to the sponsored product, and ultimately create a higher purchase intention in consumers. Finally, this study provides a number of suggestions that can be a reference for businesses when seeking partnership with Internet celebrities.

Fusion from Big Data to Smart Data to enhance quality of Information Systems 大数据与智能数据融合,提升信息系统质量

The term “smartness” in the data framework indicates relevancy based on the intended purpose of data. The Internet of Things (IoT) and advancements in technology have resulted in an ever-increasing pool of data available to all institutions to derive meaning and make sound decisions from them. The research presented in this paper explored the role smart data play in information systems quality through a qualitative study of how using the large pool of data (big data) and fusing it to smart data organizations can make sound and intelligent decisions using the available techniques. We use an existing architecture for a public institution to analyze how data ingestion can be achieved with minimum challenges. The findings suggest that even though there is a large pool of data for most organizations, it is becoming more challenging to use this data to make organizational sense due to the challenges posed by such data. The realization of smart data and its benefits in information systems helps improve the quality of information systems, reducing cost and promoting the smartness agenda of today's organization.

Third-party Payment and Commercial Banks in China: Friends or Enemies? 中国第三方支付与商业银行:是敌是友?

This paper explores the effect of third-party payment on the profitability of Chinese commercial banks from 2013 to the second quarter of 2020. In China, third-party payment has developed quickly in recent years, and an increasing number of people choose to pay by third-party payment instead of cash and bank card. This would have impacts on the Chinese traditional financial business, especially the banking industry. In order to find whether third-party payment impacts on commercial banks’ profitability or not, this paper selects the data of 36 listed banks for empirical analysis. The regression result shows that third-party payment has a significant positive impact on Chinese overall commercial banks. Then, for different types of banks, third-party payment has significant positive impacts on state-owned and joint-equity banks. But for urban and rural commercial banks, the regression results are poor fitting. Finally, this paper employs fixed effects model to run regressions, and results are still positive. Therefore, banks should continue to maintain a good corporative relationship with third-party payment.

A Research on the Influence of Directors' Turnover on the Financial Performance of Listed Companies 董事更替对上市公司财务绩效的影响研究

The Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) in China has acquired a great development since its foundation. However, recently, more and more directors resigned from GEM listed companies. Directors are the important senior executives in corporate governance. The turnover of directors may have influence on the financial performance of listed companies. This paper studies this phenomenon and finds that director turnover and the financial performance of listed companies were significantly negatively correlated. The empirical results of this paper can provide some theoretical support for the government to improve corporate governance regulation, and can also broaden the perspective of fundamental investment analysis for external investors.

An Empirical Study on the Impact of Information Industry on Economic Growth 信息产业对经济增长影响的实证研究

With the rapid development of China's information industry, the information industry has gradually become a pillar industry of China's economy and society. In 2018, the total scale of China's information industry income reached 21.82 trillion yuan, accounting for 23.7% of the GDP during the same period, and its direct contribution to economic growth was 23%. In order to promote the better development of the information industry and its internal sub industries, and at the same time, to enable the information industry to better support the development of China's economy, the paper conducts in-depth research on the impact of various sub industries within the information industry on economic development. The research conclusions of the paper provide reference for the development of the information industry. Therefore, the research content of the paper has important practical significance. Based on the review of the existing literature and the summary of the theory, the paper selects the data from 2000 to 2018, and analyzes the long-term impact of the sub sectors of information industry: electronic information manufacturing industry, telecommunications industry, software service industry on economic growth by establishing the Vector Autoregression (VAR) econometric model.

Dividend Trap in Stock Market: Avoid or Take Opportunity 股票市场的红利陷阱:避免还是抓住机会

Investments in securities in the form of shares of public companies are increasingly prevalent throughout the world. Moreover, transactions are now online using smartphones, so there are more and more actors or individual investors on the stock exchange. Dividends, which are profit sharing from public companies to shareholders, are one of the attractions for investors and brokers to invest in the stock exchange. However, it turns out that dividends are not that simple, there is a phenomenon called the dividend trap, where brokers seek profit from holding stocks that pay large dividends in the short term. Dividend trap becomes tricky when dividends that are supposed to provide profit, in fact, end up causing losses. Even though dividend traps have appeared on the capital market, there is still a lack of literature and scientific publications that discuss gambling on this subject. Our paper is a qualitative study, which explains phenomenology based on case examples, experience and expert opinion. In this paper, we will discuss the dividend trap, how to recognize it, avoid losses, overcome if it is trapped in it and even make it a learning thus an opportunity for investors and brokers to reap profits from the dividend trap. Dividend trap can be opportunity and threat. Moreover, transactions are now online using smartphones, so there are more and more actors or individual investors on the stock exchange. Dividends, which are profit sharing from public companies to shareholders, are one of the attractions for investors and brokers to invest in the stock exchange. However, it turns out that dividends are not that simple, there is a phenomenon called the dividend trap, where brokers seek profit from holding stocks that pay large dividends in the short term. Dividend trap becomes tricky when dividends that are supposed to provide profit, in fact, end up causing losses. Even though dividend traps have appeared on the capital market, there is still a lack of literature and scientific publications that discuss gambling on this subject. Our paper is a qualitative study, which explains phenomenology based on case examples, experience and expert opinion. Extreme Event Forecasting for Postal Logistics Service 邮政物流服务的极端事件预测

Forecasting demand is one of the main challenges in supply chain management. Accurate demand prediction plays a vital role in achieving operational optimization for logistical resources. Especially, in special periods when the demand extremely increases compared to normal, it becomes more important to establish the forecasting-based operation plan for logistics service reliability. This study addresses a prediction problem of postal parcel that arises at the logistics infrastructure of Korea Post. The main purpose of this paper is to develop an extreme event forecasting model for postal parcel logistics based on feature engineering and ensemble method. The proposed scheme consists of three main phases. The first phase is to analyze the characteristics of the postal parcel volume and generate the internal and external factor-based features. The second phase is to develop the internal and external ensemble predictive models. The third phase is to construct the hybrid model for extreme event prediction. The experiment with data supplied by Korea Post demonstrates the advantage in terms of prediction performance compared with other methods.

Internet Government Service in the Context of Agency Reform:Application for the Ministry of Natural Resources 机构改革背景下的互联网政务服务——以自然资源部为例

This paper maintains that against the backdrop of rapidly developing information technology, the deepening reform of China's institutions and administrative system, and progress in constructing a service-oriented government, Internet government service has become a breakthrough and rallying point for the current governmental reform. Internet government service and China's agency reform share consistent goals and are mutually reinforcing. The newly established Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), where the latest agency reform occurred, was studied to analyse management requirements of Internet government service. The technological model, underlying mechanism, key measures and achievements are described. Real-life cases are provided to illustrate the series of technological routes and mechanism support after breaking information barriers, thereby advancing the realisation of innovations in government service models.
本文认为,在信息技术快速发展、中国机构和行政体制改革不断深化、服务型政府建设不断推进的背景下,互联网政务服务已成为当前政府改革的突破口和集结点。互联网政务服务与中国机构改革目标一致,相辅相成。以新成立的自然资源部为研究对象,分析了互联网政务服务的管理需求。介绍了技术模式、作用机理、关键措施和取得的成果。通过实际案例,说明打破信息壁垒后的一系列技术路线和机制支撑,从而推动政府服务模式创新的实现。
