Nivel de Actividad Física en supervivientes de cáncer de mama españolas. Aplicación del HUNT 1-Physical Activity Questionnaire 西班牙乳腺癌幸存者的体育活动水平。Hunt 1-体育活动问卷的应用

Objetivo: El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar los niveles de actividad física en supervivientes de cáncer de mama españolas a través de un cuestionario autoadministrado. Asimismo, se estudió la relación entre variables personales y clínicas, variables del entrenamiento y calidad de vida. Método: La presente investigación es de tipo no experimental, descriptiva y transversal. De una muestra significativa (n=386) de mujeres supervivientes de cáncer de mama, se registraron, mediante encuesta autoadministrada: datos antropométricos, sociodemográficos y clínicos; niveles de actividad física mediante cuestionario HUNT1-Physical Activity Questionnaire; y calidad de vida, mediante cuestionario específico para cáncer de mama Functional Assessment Cancer Theraphy-Breast (FACT-B). Resultados: El patrón de entrenamiento más habitual fue de 2-3 veces por semana (40.9%), a intensidad ligera (41.7%) en sesiones de 30-60 minutos (51%). La puntuación media en calidad de vida fue de 93±20 puntos (escala 0-148). El índice de masa corporal resultó influir tanto en nivel de actividad física, como en calidad de vida (p<0.001). Respecto a variables clínicas, se encontró relación entre administración de quimioterapia y frecuencia de entrenamiento (p<0.05); estadio de diagnóstico con puntuación total FACT-B (p<0.05); y existencia de comorbilidades sobre subescala física del test de calidad de vida (p<0.05). Conclusiones: Los resultados indicaron que la mayoría de supervivientes de cáncer de mama españolas no cumplen actualmente los niveles de actividad física recomendados. Del mismo modo sugieren que, aunque el estadio de diagnóstico no parece ser determinante en dicho hábito, sí afecta a su calidad de vida.

Caracterização das intensidades de esforço e relação da recuperação da frequência cardíaca e aptidão cardiorrespiratória com as respostas fisiológicas e perceptuais a uma sessão de dança de salão no estilo forró 运动强度的特征以及心率恢复和心肺健康与生理和知觉反应的关系

Objetivo: Descrever intensidades de esforço (frequência cardíaca e percepção subjetiva de esforço) de uma sessão de dança de salão (i.e., forró), relacionando com a reativação parassimpática (e.g., recuperação da frequência cardíaca) e aptidão cardiorrespiratória (e.g., máxima velocidade aeróbia) em mulheres. Método: Estudo observacional, com a participação de 17 mulheres saudáveis com idade de 18-24 anos. No primeiro encontro realizou-se a sessão de Forró de 40 minutos (nove músicas; variações de xote e baião; monitoramento da frequência cardíaca e percepção subjetiva de esforço). Com intervalo de 24-48 horas, realizou-se teste incremental máximo para determinação da máxima velocidade aeróbia em esteira. Resultados: A intensidade da sessão de forró variou entre moderada e vigorosa com diferenciação entre as intensidades do xote (ritmo lento, moderada intensidade) e baião (ritmo rápido, vigorosa intensidade) a partir do percentual de frequência cardíaca máxima e com aumento linearizado para a percepção subjetiva de esforço. A máxima velocidade aeróbia foi inversamente correlacionada (moderadas/elevadas correlações) às respostas da: i) frequência cardíaca em cinco músicas; ii) percentual de frequência cardíaca máxima em três músicas; iii) percepção subjetiva de esforço em uma música. Não houve associação entre reativação parassimpática e as respostas fisiológicas/perceptuais à sessão de forró. Conclusão: A intensidade de uma sessão de forró varia entre moderada e vigorosa com melhor caracterização de intensidade de diferentes estilos (xote e baião) pelo percentual de frequência cardíaca máxima em comparação à percepção subjetiva de esforço. O forró pode ser usado para promover melhoras à saúde já que apresenta estímulo suficiente para tal.

Barreiras para a prática de atividades físicas entre usuários de substâncias psicoativas 精神活性物质使用者进行体育活动的障碍

Objetivo: Verificar as barreiras que influenciam a não realização de atividade física no tempo livre entre usuários de substâncias psicoativas. Método: 144 indivíduos com média de idade de 44.3±12.6 anos foram entrevistados respondendo um questionário que verifica as barreiras para a prática de atividades físicas. Foi aplicado o teste Qui-quadrado de independência aceitando um p<0.05 como significativo. Resultados: Os dados mostraram que há associação entre as sentenças do questionário e o padrão de resposta dos indivíduos [x2(13)=193.88; p≤0.001]. Foi encontrada significância como barreira para prática de atividade física o cansaço físico, falta de companhia, falta de incentivo familiar e acometimento de dores leves ou mal-estar. Por outro lado, a falta de tempo, fator climático, não disponibilidade no ambiente, não disponibilidade de equipamento e falta de habilidade física foram apontados, significativamente, como não serem barreiras para a prática de atividade física em usuários de substâncias psicoativas. Conclusão: A partir destes dados será possível estabelecer estratégias mais efetivas para a promoção da prática de atividade física nesta população.

Directrices científicas de ejercicio para personas adultas con lesión medular: proceso de desarrollo, resultados y recomendaciones para su implementación 脊髓损伤成年人科学锻炼指南:发展过程、结果和实施建议

El presente artículo describe el proceso sistemático seguido para desarrollar unas directrices científicas de ejercicio para personas con lesión medular, así como sus resultados. Para mejorar la condición física, las personas adultas con lesión medular deben realizar al menos 20 minutos de ejercicio aeróbico de intensidad moderada-vigorosa, dos veces por semana, combinados con tres series de ejercicios de fuerza de intensidad moderada-vigorosa por cada grupo muscular con funcionalidad, dos veces por semana. Para mejorar la salud cardiometabólica, se sugiere que las personas adultas con lesión medular realicen al menos 30 minutos de ejercicio aeróbico de intensidad moderada-vigorosa tres veces por semana. Dado que la falta de información sobre el tipo y la cantidad de actividad física necesaria para obtener beneficios saludables es una barrera importante para las personas con lesión medular, este conocimiento puede ser de gran relevancia para la promoción de estilos de vida activos entre este colectivo.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate at different levels of flexibility the influence of static passive stretching on bench press one maximum repetition test. Method: Eleven men (26.09 ± 4.2 years, 81.69 ± 13.94 kg, 1.70 ± 0.05 m) were evaluated in flexibility using Flexitest and goniometry test classified according to their flexibility levels (small and upper middle levels) and joint range of motion (deficit levels), as well as performed the one maximum repetition test in the following experimental protocols: without previous stretching and with stretching 10, 20 and 60 seconds before the test. Results: The results indicate that 64% demonstrated a low level of flexibility and 36% with a higher average level. In both, there was no significant difference in load: A0s (72.43 ± 21.10Kg vs 66.25 ± 19.02Kg); A10s (72.29 ± 20.25Kg vs 67.25 ± 20.35Kg); A20s (73.43 ± 20.78Kg vs 67.75 ± 18.23Kg) and A60s (73.29 ± 19.35Kg vs 68 ± 19.25Kg). ANOVA for repeated measures showed that no significantly different the maximum strength between groups the protocols of static passive stretching tested. Conclusion: It was concluded that passive static stretching times lower than 60 seconds, in accordance with the current recommendations, do not interfere in the neuromuscular performance of men in the one maximum repetition test, in the bench press independent of their level of flexibility.

Objective: the aim of this study was to compare differences in volume load, total repetition performed and rating of perceived exertion between static stretching and self-myofascial release on antagonist muscles. Methods: Eighteen recreationally trained men (23.4 ± 3.3 years; 80.7 ± 11.1 kg; 1.76 ± 0.06 cm) performed 10 repetitions maximum test and retest in the leg extension exercise on the first two visits. Then, three experimental sessions were conducted in a random order, in which two consisted of self-myofascial release and static stretching on hamstrings, and the other was used as a control. Results: significant higher repetitions were performed in the third set of static stretching when compared to control protocol. Additionally, significant reductions in total repetitions performed were observed only in the control session. No significant differences were noticed in the volume load of leg extension and rating of perceived exertion between protocols. Conclusion: self-myofascial release and static stretching performed before a session in the antagonist muscles can maintain repetitions performance by optimizing recovery between sets and reducing fatigue of agonist muscle.

Effect of uchi-komi prescribed as high-intensity interval training on Judo athletes 高强度间歇训练对柔道运动员的影响

Objective: The aim of this study was to analyse the effects of a period of training performing uchi-komi prescribed as high-intensity interval training on the performance of judo athletes. Method: Twenty judo athletes performed uchi-komi prescribed as high-intensity interval training (HIT; n = 10) or auto-oriented uchi-komi (control; n = 10). The judo athletes participated in three sessions (60 min for day) of Judo training per week, totalizing 18 sessions in six weeks. High-intensity interval training was performed with 30 s of entry to judo technique (all-out) and 15 s of rest, two times per week for six weeks. Athletes performed eight repetitions of high-intensity interval training in the first week, 10 repetitions in the second and third weeks, and 12 repetitions in the fourth, fifth, and sixth weeks. Pre and post training, athletes performed the Countermovement jump, Isometric judogi chin-up (isometric test), and Special judo fitness test. Results: Special judo fitness test and isometric test showed interaction (p<0.01). Both the Control (p<0.01) and HIT groups (p<0.01) demonstrated improvement in the Special judo fitness test and isometric test. The Special judo fitness test presented a difference between groups at post (p<0.01) but not pre (p= 0.06). The isometric test presented a difference between groups at pre (p= 0.03) and post (p<0.01). Countermovement jump did not demonstrate interaction (p<0.77). Conclusions: Training using uchi-komi prescribed as HIT improved performance in the Special judo fitness test and isometric test, without changing power in the lower limbs of judo athletes.

Comparisons of summer break effect on anthropometric profile, body composition and somatotype between adolescent swimmers and less active adolescents 青少年游泳运动员与不常运动青少年的暑假对人体特征、身体成分和体型的影响比较

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare changes in anthropometric profile, body composition, and somatotype of adolescent swimmers and less active adolescents. Method: We selected 16 swimmers and 8 less active adolescents. The swimmers were divided based on the amount of swimming activity performed per week. A longitudinal study with repeated measures was carried out. The anthropometric profile, body composition, and somatotype were assessed before and after the summer break from swimming activity. Results: Both groups of swimmers showed more changes in anthropometric profile, body composition, and somatotype than the less active adolescents. The very active swimmers showed a higher increase in the sum of the two central skinfolds than peripheral ones (p = 0.018). Both groups of swimmers had a great increase of the percent change in the sum of the two central skinfolds (medium active swimmers: p = 0.006, medium effect size = 0.72; very active swimmers: p = 0.001, medium effect size = 0.64). Conclusions: The fat component seems to be more variable than the muscular and bone component during 55 – 65 days of summer break from swimming activity. The two groups of swimmers showed a preferential accumulation of central fat after the summer break compared to the less active adolescents. The suprailiac and abdominal skinfolds could be used as early predictive measurements to assess changes in body fat.

Objective: Cigarette smoking triggers a plethora of biological mechanisms that promote the development of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Some preclinical studies have shown that exercise training could be effective in blunting oxidative stress and inflammatory response induced by cigarette smoking. Therefore, we aim to analyze the effect of exercise training on pulmonary and cardiovascular system in experimental models of cigarette smoking. Methods: A systematic search was performed in order to identify studies addressed to evaluate the effects of exercise training on pulmonary and/or cardiovascular damage induced by cigarette smoking in animal models. Results: fourteen articles were identified, all of them performed in rats or mice. Running and swimming were the only training methods and whole-body smoke exposition was the most prevalent smoking protocol used in the studies. Conclusion: The studies support the hypothesis that exercise training performed before, concurrently or after smoking can blunt or even revert the oxidative stress and inflammatory response in animals exposed to cigarette smoke, which could contribute to recovering its cardiovascular and respiratory function.

Objective: To estimate total energy expenditure and intensity of a low impact BodyattackTM session using combined heart rate and movement sensing technology. Method: Participants were 10 (8 males) normal-weight adults (33 ± 3 years-old). Maximal oxygen capacity and heart rate were determined by the performance on a treadmill maximal exercise test using indirect calorimetric method. Heart rate and energy expenditure values were monitored during a Bodyattack™ routine using a combined heart rate and movement sensor. The manufacturer's combined activity and heart rate algorithm was used to estimate Total and Physical activity energy expenditure. Results: A 60 min low impact BodyattackTM session demands a Total energy expenditure of 469.4 ± 170.8 kcal at an average intensity of 64% of maximal heart rate, from which approximately 27.2 min are spent at moderate to vigorous physical activity intensities. Compared to a high impact BodyattackTM session as reported by the trademark company, Total energy expenditure was lower in the low impact option (-194.8 Kcal, p=0.006), but no significant differences were found in average intensity (-9.4%, p=0.707). Conclusion: Bodyattack™ routines performed at a low impact option may be sufficient to meet minimal recommendations for developing and maintaining cardiorespiratory fitness, if practiced beyond three days.week-1. Although appropriate for untrained individuals and those with orthopedic limitations, energy requirements of low impact Bodyattack™ may not be enough to elicit an effective weight loss.
