This work presents the comparison study between neural super-twisting sliding mode control (NSTSM) and adaptive-network-based fuzzy inference system-STSM (ANFIS-STSM) algorithm of the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) controlled by direct power control (DPC). The mathematical model of the three-phase DFIG has been described. The descriptions of the DPC strategy, NSTSM and the ANFIS-STSM algorithm have been presented. The DPC strategy with NSTSM and ANFIS-STSM has been described. The simulation studies of the DPC strategy with intelligent STSM algorithms have been performed, and the results of these studies are presented and discussed.

The multitude of cutting materials already in existence increased further with the appearance ofpolycrystalline diamond (PCD) some 25 years ago. Ceramic show no chemical affinity to most machiningmaterials, but are very brittle. Natural diamond, the hardest known material, is very wear resistant, but alsosensitive to impacts and difficult to shape. The main advantage brought about by the development ofpolycrystalline diamond is the partial combination of the exceptional hardness of diamond with the toughness oftungsten carbide. This paper is presenting a series of the general considerations on cutting tools which have thecutting surface made of polycrystalline diamond. There are also presented some original results concluded by theauthor, based on experiments made with the tools mentioned before, which have different design values.

The purpose of this paper is to detail the aspects regarding the implementation requirements ofenvironmental management system in accordance with SR EN ISO 14001:2015. There are defined the mainindicators underlying the context and the principles of environmental management system highlighting theimportance of systematic approach of environmental management. The presented study consists ofenvironmental aspects assessment specific to the production processes. By implementing the adequatecorrective actions, the score of the significant environmental aspects decrease falling within the category ofinsignificant environmental aspects
