This work presents the comparison study between neural super-twisting sliding mode control (NSTSM) and adaptive-network-based fuzzy inference system-STSM (ANFIS-STSM) algorithm of the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) controlled by direct power control (DPC). The mathematical model of the three-phase DFIG has been described. The descriptions of the DPC strategy, NSTSM and the ANFIS-STSM algorithm have been presented. The DPC strategy with NSTSM and ANFIS-STSM has been described. The simulation studies of the DPC strategy with intelligent STSM algorithms have been performed, and the results of these studies are presented and discussed.

Research in the field of Polycrystalline Diamond Tools 多晶金刚石刀具领域的研究

The multitude of cutting materials already in existence increased further with the appearance ofpolycrystalline diamond (PCD) some 25 years ago. Ceramic show no chemical affinity to most machiningmaterials, but are very brittle. Natural diamond, the hardest known material, is very wear resistant, but alsosensitive to impacts and difficult to shape. The main advantage brought about by the development ofpolycrystalline diamond is the partial combination of the exceptional hardness of diamond with the toughness oftungsten carbide. This paper is presenting a series of the general considerations on cutting tools which have thecutting surface made of polycrystalline diamond. There are also presented some original results concluded by theauthor, based on experiments made with the tools mentioned before, which have different design values.

The purpose of this paper is to detail the aspects regarding the implementation requirements ofenvironmental management system in accordance with SR EN ISO 14001:2015. There are defined the mainindicators underlying the context and the principles of environmental management system highlighting theimportance of systematic approach of environmental management. The presented study consists ofenvironmental aspects assessment specific to the production processes. By implementing the adequatecorrective actions, the score of the significant environmental aspects decrease falling within the category ofinsignificant environmental aspects

The paper presents the results of a interdisciplinary research study of terminology in the field ofenergy and environment. Some modalities of acquiring terminology in environment and energy field by meansof lexical and semantic entities to be mastered in a communication context are presented. The objective of the present work is to characterize a power plant with concentrator of Fresnel on various Algerian sites (Sahara). These sites were chosen for comparison by moving the power plant in the Algerian sites: Hassi-R’mel, Tamanrasset, Béni-Abbes, and El Oued. A technico-economic study was made to determine the various characteristics of the power plant. This study is carried out through a simulation in the hourly scale: it concerns the insolation, the system 'field', and the 'receiving' system. The results of the simulation are represented on annual average. Annual energy production and the cost per kWh are evaluated, the technico-economic results are also estimated for the same sites, and the results are compared for the purpose of site classification.

Estimation of emissions of volatile organic vapors from parameters measured in a fuel loading terminal 从燃料装载终端测量的参数中估计挥发性有机蒸气的排放

In this work, an estimate of the emissions of volatile organic vapors emitted at a gasoline loading terminal is presented, in the absence of a vapor recovery unit. The estimation of the emissions is evaluated by the application of the General Law of Ideal Gases, using data measured in situations of fuel loading. A total of 3800 tank truck compartment samples were collected, totaling a loaded volume of 33 161 838 liters of gasoline for about 282 hours of operation in 21 days, or in three operating weeks. The results obtained provided a first estimate of the reduction of the environmental impact, evaluated by the reduction of the mass of evaporated gasoline and the registration in a database, for the execution of future projects. The classification of images, in many cases, is applied to identify an alphanumeric string, a facial expression or any other characteristic. In the case of satellite images is necessary to classify all the pixels of the image. This article describes a supervised classification method for remote sensing images that integrates the importance of attributes in selecting features with the efficiency of artificial neural networks in the classification process, resulting in high accuracy for real images. The method consists of a texture segmentation based on Gabor filtering followed by an image classification itself with an application of a multi layer artificial neural network with a back propagation algorithm. The method was first applied to a synthetic image, like training, and then applied to a satellite image. Some results of experiments are presented in detail and discussed. The application of the method to the synthetic image resulted in the identification of 89.05% of the pixels of the image, while applying to the satellite image resulted in the identification of 85.15% of the pixels. On the wave energy potential along the southern coast of Brazil 关于巴西南部海岸的波浪能源潜力

The ocean wave energy resource is a real alternative to supply part of the energy demand in various countries, since some locations have a remarkable capacity to generate electricity. The objective of this study is to evaluate the energy resource of ocean waves in the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the southern state of Brazil. This note presents the first results. The wave data used were collected in the sea area near the Port of Rio Grande during the years 1996 to 1999, amounting to sixteen months of monitoring. The data set was treated and grouped resulting information monthly, seasonal and annual basis. The annual average was found to be 8.6 kW per meter of wave front, reaching 14.0 kW per meter for the month of May and 4.0 kW per meter for the month of January. Simulating an ocean wave power plant with Homer 用荷马模拟海浪发电厂

In recent years, renewable resources have become an important alternative to increase the capacity of power generation. Among the resources available, the energy in the oceans have attracted more interest and experiencing a period of strong development. Wave energy is the one that is currently closest to reach a stage of technical and economic maturity. In this process, computational tools to facilitate evaluation of the feasibility of power systems including ocean wave power plants are critical. This paper presents the use of software Homer, version Legacy, for evaluation of technical and economic feasibility of hybrid energy systems including contribution of wave energy. Homer is a software designed for the optimization of micro power systems that has a very broad spectrum of applications. A case study in southern Brazil is presented, studying the inclusion of an ocean wave power plant in a wind biodiesel hybrid system and showing the functionality of Homer for this purpose. Preliminary determination of the energy potential of ocean currents along the southern coast of Brazil 巴西南部海岸洋流能量潜力的初步测定

The ocean can be a strategic alternative for obtaining energy supplies, both from ocean waves as from sea currents and tides. Among these features, the power generation projects based on ocean currents are still under development. Generating energy from ocean can have great impact on the Brazilian energy grid, since Brazil has a vast coastline, with more than 9,000 km long, with potential for generating energy from ocean currents not fully estimated. This article presents a preliminary determination of the energy potential for power generation from ocean currents along the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state of Brazil, and also presents notes that contribute to the characterization of the system of ocean currents in the region. The data used were obtained in two areas near Tramandaí, allowing the determination of velocities and directions of the currents on a seasonal basis. The maximum speeds obtained rarely exceed 0.750 m/s, while the average speeds do not exceed 0.200 m/s. A relationship with the prevailing winds in the region was identified. Unfortunately, the results do not allow optimism about the power generation from ocean currents on the southern coast of Brazil, at least over the continental shelf.
