INTRODUCTION. Proprioceptive deficits are one of the common sensory impairments after stroke and have a negative impact on motor activity. AIM. Evaluation of the effect of stabilization training on the dynamics of clinical and functional indices and the efficiency of motor rehabilitation in patients after stroke. MATERIAL AND METHODS. The dynamics of motor (motor functions, activity) and non-motor (cognitive and emotional volitional) consequences of stroke, as well as the quality of life under the influence of complex application of stabilization training with the use of scales (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale, Medical Research Council Scale, Modified Ashworth Scale of muscle spasticity, «Memory for images» and «10 words», Schulte-Platonov Table, Lusher Color Test, The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale), International Classification of Functioning (ICF), EQ-5D questionnaire and stabilography method. The effectiveness of motor rehabilitation was evaluated by the dynamics of the integral index of health level. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. After complex rehabilitation in stroke patients the regression of neurological disorders was detected (almost half of patients after rehabilitation showed mild degree of impairment, in 6 % of cases full recovery of paretic leg muscle strength was achieved, the share of patients with severe and moderate paresis decreased, hypertonicity of paretic muscles decreased). Complementing the complex of motor rehabilitation with stable exercise led to a decrease in the degree of functional limitations (in 48.5 % of patients after rehabilitation the Hauser walking index indicated a mild degree of walking disorder, patients became able to walk around the room without using aids, reduced dependence on others in everyday life), improved quality of balance function and quality of life, a positive impact on the psychoemotional state of patients and increased effectiveness of rehabilitation measures. CONCLUSION. Stabilotraining application in the complex of motor rehabilitation of patients allowed to improve walking and balance functions, psycho-emotional state of patients, to increase their quality of life and, accordingly, to increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures after stroke.

AIM. To evaluate the efficiency of telemedicine technologies in the complex rehabilitation of patients after transpedicular fixation of the lumbar spine. MATERIAL AND METHODS. 64 patients (38 men and 26 females, age 31 to 67 years) after transpedicular fixation of the lumbar spine where included in the study. All patients underwent 2-weeks inpatient medical rehabilitation. The telemedicine platform «Steps Reabil» was used in the study group (35 patients) for home-based rehabilitation. Patients received e-mail links to the video recording of 10 home-based physical exercises. The control group (29 patients) received a leaflet describing similar 10 physical exercises. Rehabilitation diagnosis by ICF domains (b28013, b7303, b7600, d4500, e1151), backache on 100-mm visual analog scale (VAS) and on Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire (RDQ), Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ), Spielberger-Khanin reactive anxiety test, Beck depression inventory (BDI), 10-meters walking test were evaluated before starting home-based physical exercises and after 1 month. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. The best patient adherence (74 %) to regular home-based physical exercises using the telemedicine platform was observed after 2 weeks, by the 2nd month the adherence decreased. Telerehabilitation improved the values of the qualifiers of ICF domains, reduced backache on VAS by 43.2 % (p < 0.05), on RDQ by 47.8 % (p < 0.05), HAQ by 57.1 % (p < 0.01), 10-meters walking test by 39.0 % (p < 0.05), reactive anxiety level by 30.6 % (p < 0.05), subclinical depression symptoms on BDI by 44.2 % (p < 0.05), with statistically significant differences from the control group in most parameters (р < 0.05), excluding 10-meters walking test. These results are consistent with the data of numerous studies that have demonstrated the efficiency of technology-based distance telerehabilitation in patients with various diseases. CONCLUSION. Telemedicine technologies allow to conduct the individual home-based rehabilitation program, to control its efficiency, which ensures the continuity of rehabilitation activities at all stages.

INTRODUCTION. The beneficial effect of the ozone therapy use in acute serous gestational pyelonephritis is well-known. However, in the scientific literature there is no information on the effect of medical ozone on the functional state of placental fetal blood flow with this pathology. AIM. To study the dynamics of fetoplacental complex parameters in women suffering from acute serous gestational pyelonephritis using ozone-oxygen mixture. MATERIAL AND METHODS. The studies were conducted on 93 pregnant women at the age of 28 (16-39) years old suffering from acute serous gestational pyelonephritis, gestational age was from 14 to 26 weeks, who were randomized into two groups: the first/study (n=46) group and the second/control (n=47) one. The control group of pregnant women took only the drug standard according to the Federal Clinical Guidelines. In the study group, drug therapy was supplemented by intravenous administration of an ozone-oxygen mixture. Both groups were evaluated in the dynamics of ultrasound examination of the fetoplacental complex, as well as uterine and placental blood flow Dopplerometry. DISCUSSION. The increase in the effectiveness of restorative treatment of women with acute serous gestational pyelonephritis including ozone therapy is due to an increase in the initially reduced diastolic blood perfusion rate; summation of the therapeutic effects of ozone and pharmacotherapy; enhancement of pharmacopotential value of the used medicinal preparation. CONCLUSION. Parenteral application of ozone-oxygen mixture in programs of restorative treatment of women with acute serous gestational pyelonephritis provides significant improvement of functional state of placental-uterine blood flow.

INTRODUCTION. The level of stress experienced by stroke patients (caused by anxiety-depressive disorders, pain and motor deficiency) is still difficult to assess adequately clinically and with the help of existing diagnostic questionnaires, whereas their presence in a state of pronounced discomfort significantly affects the overall functioning and effectiveness of rehabilitation measures. In connection with the above, of interest are the methods aimed at objectification of stress level, such as determination of sympathetic activation byregistration of cutaneous conductivity, which, according to the literature, can be a reliable marker of affective pathology and chronic pain. AIM. To assess the possibility of using the NeonFSC stress monitoring system, RU No. RZN 2021/16179 dated December 29, 2021 for diagnostics by recording the skin conduction of stress, pain sensations and emotional pathology in stroke patients, and determining the effectiveness of the treatment and rehabilitation measures taken to correct the above disorders. MATERIAL AND METHODS. Thirty-five stroke patients were examined clinically and anamnesthetically, clinico-neurologically, clinicopsychopathologically, using diagnostic scales and recording electrodermal activity. RESULT AND DISCUSSION. The NeonFSC system determines the level of sympathetic activation in stroke patients, correlated with clinical parameters (neurological deficit, severity of pain, anxiety and depression) and helps to assess the dynamics of discomfort experienced by the patient as a result of rehabilitation measures. The use of electrodermal activity monitoring in a comprehensive examination of patients increased the diagnosis of emotional pathology and pain by 30%, objectified the presence of distress or its absence. CONCLUSION. The NeonFSC system is promising for use in comprehensive diagnosis and assessment of the dynamics of anxietydepressive disorders, pain, and other distress-inducing conditions, as well as to determine the adequacy of physical activities used in rehabilitation for various diseases.

AIM. To determine the concentration of connective tissue growth factor and assess the relationship of this index with a number of pathological conditions in elderly patients with CHD. MATERIAL AND METHODS. The study enrolled 50 patients older than 75 years with a diagnosis of coronary heart disease (CAD); most of them (71%) were women. The patients ranged in age from 75 to 96 years (mean age -87.8 years). The concentration of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in blood was determined by enzyme immunoassay. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. In the group of CHD patients, the average CTGF concentration was 357.2 pg/ml, whereas in healthy young adults it was 1076.7 pg/ml (p=0.07). Only 7.9% of patients with CHD had CTGF level exceeding 1000 pg/ml, whereas in young subjects CTGF level exceeded 1000 pg/ml in 25% of cases. In patients with clinically significant CHD, CTGF concentration was significantly higher than in patients without CHD (p=0.001). A negative correlation was registered between the CTGF levels and the systolic (r = -0.25; p = 0.1) and diastolic (r = -0.36; p = 0.02) blood pressure. In the subgroup of patients with pneumosclerosis, the median CTGF concentration reached 190.7 pg/l, without it – 34.7 pg/ml (p = 0.03). A significant inverse correlation was found between the CTGF levels and glucose (r = -0.34; p = 0.03), total cholesterol (r = -0.49; p = 0.002) and LDL cholesterol (r = -0.40; p = 0.01) concentrations. This pilot study found a significant effect of CTGF on echocardiographic parameters and the course of CHD, and higher levels of CTGF in patients with pneumosclerosis. However, a small sample of patients and extremely variable CTGF values do not currently allow unequivocal conclusions to be drawn at this time about the role of this factor in various comorbid conditions. CONCLUSION. Further research is needed to establish the clinical significance of CTGF.

AIM. To develop an original information technology for remote monitoring and to conduct a scientific justification for its use for monitoring and evaluating the motor regimen and the main physiological parameters of patients in a rehabilitation center. MATERIAL AND METHODS. The original architecture of the software and hardware complex was used (certificate of state registration of the computer program No. 2022611766 of February 1, 2022), allowing to the attending physician’s PC and wearable devices (smart watches) of the patient with the function of the 24-hour registration of motor activity and heart rate indicators of users. The study involved 21 patients, who underwent medical rehabilitation courses in a round-the-clock hospital. 11 patients underwent cardiorehabilitation programs for the diagnosis of chronic coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction in the past (I25.2 according to ICD-10); 10 patients due to a condition after COVID-19 (U09.9 according to ICD-10). RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. When comparing the motor characteristics of the 2 study groups, it was found that the average number of steps per day was 9004.6 in the group of patients with a diagnosis of I25.2, which equals the distance of 6.6±2.63 km, and 10072.4 steps per day and 7.45±3.12 km in the group with a diagnosis of U09.9, respectively (p<0.001). In both groups, during the course of medical rehabilitation, as a rule, 3 peaks of an increase in motor load were observed – on days 2-3, 5-6 and 8. The period of physical activity in group I25.2 averaged 5:45±0:33 hours, and in group U09.9 – 5:30±0:23 hours. The total density of motor load in both groups corresponded to ≈ 35-36%. However, the average time of motor load spent on active physical rehabilitation procedures in the group with a diagnosis of I25.2 was 1:45±0:17 hours, and in the group U09.9 only 1:05±0:14 (p<0.01). In this connection, the motor density of the motor load of rehabilitation measures in the groups corresponded to 26.6% and 19.8%. CONCLUSION. The software package for remote monitoring of the motor regime and the main physiological parameters of patients has demonstrated the possibility of its use in medical practice, namely for patients at the 2nd stage of medical rehabilitation in a round-the-clock hospital and can be recommended for inclusion in programs of spa treatment.

To develop an original information technology for remote monitoring and to conduct a scientific justification for its use for monitoring and evaluating the motor regimen and the main physiological parameters of patients in a rehabilitation center.\u0000MATERIAL AND METHODS. 11 patients underwent cardiorehabilitation programs for the diagnosis of chronic coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction in the past (I25.2 according to ICD-10); 10 patients due to a condition after COVID-19 (U09.9 according to ICD-10).\u0000RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. AIM. The purpose of this work was to study the somatotypological characteristics of patients with non-communicable diseases and obesity of class 1, 2 and 3; compare three methods to evaluate the somatotype using three types of complex formulas according to the Heath-Carter scheme; to check the reliability and informativeness of the method of bioimpedance evaluation of somatotype components by regression formulas used in bioimpedance analysis. MATERIAL AND METHODS. 145 patients (67 men, mean age 41.4±10.3 years and 78 women, mean age 40.6±9.4 years) with class 1, class 2 and class 3 obesity, were examined at the clinic of the Federal Research Center of Nutrition and Biotechnology. Anthropometric measurements were taken. Bioimpedance evaluation of body composition was performed using the analyzer ABC-01 "Medas". The somatotype was determined according to the Heath-Carter scheme using three types of complex formulas – based on anthropometry and based on a bioimpedance study of body composition. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. Based on anthropometric and bioimpedance studies, a characterization of somatotypes according to the Heath-Carter scheme in patients with alimentary-dependent pathologies and class 1, class 2 and class 3 obesity is presented. Significant differences were shown in the values of the somatotype components ENDO and MESO, obtained by calculation using the formulas implemented in the software of the bioimpedance analyzer, from the values obtained by calculating by formulas based on anthropometry. CONCLUSION. The degree of gender dimorphism was different when determining the somatotype according to the Heath-Carter scheme in patients with class 1, class 2 and class 3 obesity, and it depended on what particular formulas were used to calculate the scores. Pronounced gender dimorphism was noted when using both versions of the regression formulas, because they take into account the gender of the individual being examined. It was shown that these formulas are not applicable for evaluation of the components of the somatotype in persons with obesity of class 1, class 2 and class, because the coefficients of determination do not correspond to those previously obtained for a group of people with normal BMI values. We consider it expedient to develop new regression equations for evaluation of the somatotype of the above category of patients.

INTRODUCTION. Chronic prostatitis is one of the most common urological nosologies, the third most common diagnosis in men under 50 years old. Existing scientific sources testify to the effectiveness of various physiotherapeutic interventions in patients with infectious-inflammatory diseases of the male reproductive system, complicated by erectile dysfunction. AIM. The aim of the study was the scientific substantiation of high-intensity pulsed magnetic field application in patients with chronic prostatitis complicated by erectile dysfunction. MATERIAL AND METHODS. The study included 60 patients randomized into two groups. The first group (30 people) received high-intensity pulsed magnetic field; the second group (30 people) received drug therapy. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. It was shown that the high clinical results of high-intensity pulsed magnetic field application were based on the compensation of local blood circulation conditioned by the improvement of the prostate blood flow according to the ultrasound of the prostatic vessels as well as by the elimination of the penile blood supply deficiency due to the improvement of the arterial vessels tone and elimination of venous stasis according to laser doppler flowmetry. CONCLUSION. An innovative method has been developed to treat patients with chronic prostatitis complicated by erectile dysfunction using high-intensity pulsed magnetic field.
