the article proves the urgency of studying the models of the uranium mining process by the method of underground leaching, which will allow to evaluate the dynamics of the technological process. More and more attention is paid to the modeling of the process of underground leaching (ISL), with the aim of solving the problems of raising the effectiveness of the process under consideration. The problems of extraction of underground leaching are described, the current state and description of the technology, connection with management problems is very actual development of new systems using the simulation results of the ISL process in the control loop. The article considers that there is an optimal pressure on the pumping wells according to the chosen criterion. Models of searching for the solution of the required flow rate for a quench well providing the maximum productivity of the solution at the outlet are constructed. In the paper, the tasks of determining the initial hydrodynamic parameters of wells and seams after conducting special investigations of wells with the use of deep instruments and information measuring instruments are solved.

Due to the variety of feature extractions and classifiers, many different algorithms have been proposed for gesture recognition. In this paper, we work to increase the recognition performance in terms of recognition rate and execution time by using recently proposed modified sparse representation classifier based on intensity of images. Sparsity based classifier is compared with two conventional ones as K-nearest neighbor and random forest classifiers on gesture recognition. Simulation results showed that, our recognition algorithm based on sparsity has a higher performance than that of the others for both recognition rate and execution time.

Illumination with different lighting levels or angles is an important problem for classification of an individual in face recognition. To overcome this issue, generally classification algorithms are applied after pre-processing of the images to get rid of the low contrast regions to increase the accuracy of recognition. In this work, we use Steerable Gaussian Filter at the pre-processing step for all training and testing samples. In the classification step, we use the recently proposed “Classification via Sparse Reconstruction Vector (CSRV)“ algorithm. The performance of our approach is compared with that of the “Principal Component Analysis (PCA)” algorithm in terms of recognition rates (RR). Experiment results show that the CSRV algorithm has a better performance than that of the PCA algorithm with higher RR even for poorly illuminated images taken from Yale Database B.

In this research we implemented a technique for resolving differential diagnosis (DD) in medical disease expert systems (ES). This was achieved by collecting additional information from users during diagnosis which help to correctly decide which new rule will be asserted to the working memory before feedback can be deduced after proving that a user is suffering from a particular disease by confirming all the symptoms. Our approach correctly resolves differential diagnosis by ruling out similar diseases which match user disease symptoms and enhances the general accuracy of the expert system due to sufficient user information made usable to the system. This work presents a general solution to most significant problem of differential diagnosis, which is neither restricted to a particular disease nor medical domain as compared to the work of other researchers where techniques to resolve differential diagnosis were restricted to a particular disease type. The system can be further optimized by providing the probability value when a goal is achieved as well as medical prescription after diagnosis is completed.

Cervical Cancer is the second most prevalent cancer found in women inNigeria. It is predicted that this will increase by almost 72% if efforts are not made to reduce this growth rate. Cervical cancer is predominantly caused by a virus known as Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Hence, this survey aims to discuss statistical information on cervical cancer incidence in the six-geopolitical regions in Nigeria. Problems with data collection from these regions are highlighted. Also, existing screening methods and challenges affecting these methods are evaluated. The need for introducing an intelligent detection and classification system which will potentially reduce the growth rate of cervical cancer is discussed.

Nowadays Machinery Diagnostic becomes a major part for many industrial applications. It allows to predict and prevent of breakages. An analysis of the trends in the development of power machines show that the most advanced installations can be created using gas turbine technologies. Quite justified, many energy specialists consider the XXI century - the century of gas turbine technologies. It is very important to prevent gas turbine failure. In this paper investigated machine learning classification techniques with further implementation for fault detection in gas turbine running data trends. Investigation was done for real gas compression station running parameters.

The focus of the present article is a simulation of a solar hot water heating system for Kazakstan climate conditions. The system consists of solar flat collector, installed exchanger coil inside a storage tank and pumps to provide heating as well as domestic hot water. The simulation of solar heating system is done in Matlab + Simulink. Based on the simulation results it can allows simulate the operational of solar hot water heating system in different climate conditions (temperature and solar irradiance) and different customized parameters of the system for better efficiency of the system in different climate condition.

In this paper, we attempted to generate insights about improving the education of students of EDUCON summer camp in Kazakhstan on the basis of analysis of their dataset and extrapolate the studies into other similar education-based projects. On the basis of empirical data we found that the organization of EDUCON camp was generally good, but there are some points such as subjects related, dormitory related, etc. to be improved in order to make the system of EDUCON even better. As the result, we suggest some new additionalities to be incorporated into the EDUCON education system and some changes have to be done.
