Security system with 3 dimensional face recognition using PCA method and neural networks algorithm 安防系统采用PCA方法和神经网络算法对三维人脸进行识别

The increasing use of computers and the internet has resulted in an increasing trend of computer crimes. This is the reason computer security is becoming important. A computer security system should be able to provide some kind of information assurance such as confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and non-repudiation of data. The method used to help meet the authenticity of information assurance is biometric-based authentication, among others, a two-dimensional (2D) face recognition system, but it can make mistakes in recognition. The intruder is also easier to enter the system if has a photo print from the user's face. To overcome these deficiencies can be use a three-dimensional (3D) face recognition system. This research did three-dimensional (3D) face recognition by not doing 3D face reconstruction. But using face data got from camera ToF i.e. distance, amplitude, and intensity from each image pixel as input data. The hypothesis was face recognition execution speed faster and similar accuracy when compared with research conducted by Zhang and Lu. The algorithm used in this research, is back propagation neural networks algorithm and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Obtained accuracy of 95% and training time of 9728 seconds. Face recognition in this study has a lower accuracy level than previous research but faster face recognition speed.

UI/UX analysis & design for mobile e-commerce application prototype on Gramedia.com Gramedia.com移动电子商务应用原型UI/UX分析与设计

Mobile-based e-commerce application has begun to gain its trend. Gramedia as one of leader bookstore in Indonesia plans to create a mobile app that is accessible to its customers. The tendency of Gramedia's customer that starts accessing Gramedia.com from their gadgets is one of the main reason. Task Centered System Design (TCSD) is a method in building Human Computer Interaction that is useful to identify task-requirements and user needs. This method has been used to build the prototype. The prototype has met the requirements as the User Acceptance Test (UAT) shows that 80% acceptance whilst another 20% is accepted with notice. The method of System Usability Scale (SUS) performs a final score 80.9 showing that its usability quality is high.

Cost benefit analysis of MVNO business models for LTE 4G services in Bandung city 万隆市LTE 4G业务MVNO商业模式成本效益分析

The development of telecommunication technology so rapidly, so industry structure of information and communication Technology in Indonesia must be able to adapt to these changes. The shift of the industry paradigm to data services led to the emergence of new operators in the field of telecommunication service networks, to provide a variety of services and affordable prices to society. Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) is a part of the Information and Communication Technology convergence industry, where the operator is able to provide communication services to the people without having a frequency spectrum license or even telecommunication network infrastructure. Mobile Virtual Network Operator implementation planning in Bandung using capacity approach on 4G Long Term Evolution technology to determine the traffic requirement that must be served. An economic approach is performed to determine at the business feasibility of Mobile Virtual Network Operator operations with respect to capital expenditure, operational expenditure, average revenue per user and potential customers. Thus, based on the simulation it is found that Reseller Mobile Virtual Network Operator is feasible to implement in Bandung with Net Present Value of 2 billion rupiah and Internal Rate of Return 53.8%, but for Service Provider and Full Mobile Virtual Network Operator not feasible because the value of Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return is negative. This is because the business capital cost of Reseller Mobile Virtual Network Operator is smaller than other type of Mobile Virtual Network Operator, so it can be covered by business income in Bandung.

Implementation of C4.5 algorithm to determine hospital readmission rate of diabetes patient 实现C4.5算法确定糖尿病患者再入院率

Diabetes is a disease in which the body's ability to produce or respond to the hormone insulin is impaired, resulting in abnormal metabolism of carbohydrates and elevated levels of glucose in the blood and urine. It can be suffered by everyone and until now there is no cure for it. A hospital readmission is an episode when a patient who had been discharged from a hospital is admitted again within a specified time interval. Readmission rates have increasingly been used as a quality benchmark for health systems. In this research, C.45 Algorithm is used to determine hospital readmission rate of diabetes patient. Dataset used in this study is taken from UCI Machine Learning Repository, which contain diabetic patient data from 130 hospitals in United States for 10 years (1999–2008). Several experiments are done to get the best result, and the best result is 74.5% for accuracy. This result is obtained by doing several pre-process data i.e. filling all missing value, using numeric and nominal attribute type, and by not including several attributes.

Knowledge-based systems in decision support context: A literature review 基于知识的决策支持系统:文献综述

Both the knowledge management system (KMS) and decision support system (DSS) had a wide range research's domain. KMS in technology implementation called knowledge-based system (KBS) as a system that processing and representing the knowledge in the understandable form. When the purpose of the KBS development is a problem-solving or decision-making, then the functionality of the decision support system can be adopted. The KBS that had been developed in the context of decision support considered as knowledge-based decision support system (KBDSS). The challenge is that there no recognition towards the trend summary of the KBDSS within this past five years. In order to identify the trend of the KBDSS, this paper aimed to review the existing KBS development in the decision support context. The result of this review is the dominant research area, the common issues summary and the particular approaches as a contribution with their benefit in each selected papers.

Phatsa: A web-based application for forecasting using conventional moving average methods Phatsa:一个基于网络的应用程序,使用传统的移动平均方法进行预测

Forecasting with time series was made by hypothetical study that historical data related with the future data. Moving average (MA) is one of the well-known methods to be used in forecasting technique. Although there are several methods that already developed like soft computing and modified methods, conventional moving average methods still implemented in recent researches because of its simplicity. This study conducts a development of web-based application called Phatsa (PHP Application for Time Series Analysis) that implements three conventional moving average methods, i.e. the SMA, WMA and EMA. All the calculation tested in 100–5000 rows of time series dataset with the maximum calculating time below 0.4 seconds. Calculating time is relatively linear with the complexity of its equation, EMA has the biggest amount of time while SMA has the lowest one.

Sinergy of art and animation technology in multimedia performance art creation entitled sad ripu 艺术与动画技术在多媒体行为艺术创作中的应用

This research is aimed to create synergistic creation between art and technology in form of multimedia performance art. It was formed in combination of motion graphic animation from contemporary Balinese ethnic designed style mask, packed in a contemporary dance performance package. This collaborative project also tries to explore the potential of ontological and terminology on multimedia, which is previously used in the performing arts world. The kinesics aesthetic aspects are explored, by aligning the motion of the contemporary dancers, with motion graphic showing the animation of the composition of the mask part, into a whole contemporary Balinese style mask. The final result of this collaborative project is able to propose a formulation of a collaborative multimedia performance art that considers the kinesics aspect as an important element that synergizes dance motion with contemporary motion graphic mask animation.

The kinesics aesthetic aspects are explored, by aligning the motion of the contemporary dancers, with motion graphic showing the animation of the composition of the mask part, into a whole contemporary Balinese style mask. A scalable and reconfigurable verification and benchmark environment for Network on Chip architecture 片上网络架构的可扩展和可重构验证和基准测试环境

To reduce the complex communication problem that arise as the number of on-chip component increases, the use of Network-on-Chip (NoC) as interconnection architectures have become more promising to solve complex on-chip communication problems. However, providing a suitable test base to measure and verify functionality of any NoC is a compulsory. Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) is introduced as a standardized and reusable methodology for verifying integrated circuit design. In this research, a scalable and reconfigurable verification and benchmark environment for NoC is proposed.

Software-based turbo decoder implementation on low power multi-processor system-on-chip for Internet of Things 面向物联网的低功耗多处理器片上系统turbo解码器的软件实现

Internet of Things technology is highly reliant on wireless radio link, which must be of low error rate to avoid retransmission. Forward error correction (FEC) provides lower error rate by introducing data overhead. A particular FEC, Turbo code has found vast application over various platforms, trading off between flexibility and power-efficiency during implementation. This work proposes a low-power yet flexible Turbo decoder implementation on a low power programmable MPSoC in expense of data throughput, aimed for low-data rate IoT applications. A detailed analysis for software-based implementation and optimization of the decoder targeted for the specific MPSoC is given. The implemented decoder is tested on a real SDR-based wireless transceiver system and compared against its non-coded version. Test result shows significantly lower error rate for the coded system compared to the non-coded version, that is around 50–60 percent on the 3rd iteration of Turbo decoding.

Evaluation of behavior estimation using Ward's method in multifunction outlet system 多功能出口系统中Ward方法的行为估计评价

Home Energy Management System(HEMS) is standard as a system for reducing power consumption in ordinary homes. The system prevents the users from forgetting to turn off home appliances. However the system is too simple to more reduce power consumption. Therefore we aim to reduce power consumption by figuring out a user's behavior to control home appliances. However to estimate user's behavior is difficult for the system. So we develop Multifunction Outlet System into a function to control home appliances. The function uses Ward's method which is an unsupervised learning for estimation of a user's behavior. In this paper, we evaluated a result of estimate of a user's behavior from sensor data by Ward's method.
