Most countries suffer from the phenomenon of the fragmentation of agricultural holdings, which directly contributes to the decline in the volume of work and agricultural output, which is expressed as a dangerous phenomenon for the economies of countries that depend mainly on agriculture. A big negative, the most important of which was the economic infeasibility of small holdings and thus the exit of large areas of agricultural investment, the disintegration of the family and the spread of differences between members of the same family due to different points of view, the increase of migration to cities in search of livelihood and work, and the transformation of the agricultural community from open to consumer, this study showed that Edfu Center occupied the first place among the leading centers of the governorate, as its possession area amounted to about 40,236 acres, which is equivalent to 34.8% of the total area possessed in the governorate, while the Aswan Center did not exceed its agricultural area about 11568.6 acres, at an estimated rate of about 10.01% of the total licensed area in the governorate. The study also showed an increase in the value of the Gini coefficient in some governorate centers such as Aswan and Edfu, where it reached 0.27 and 0.34, respectively, while this percentage decreased. For laboratories in Nasr, Daraw and Kom Ombo centers, reaching about 0.19, 0.17, and 0.06.

The research aims to identify the role of social media networks in the modernization and development of some villages of Ismailia and Port Said governorates, by measuring the degree of their impact on the modernization and development of the rural community in the study area, where Ismailia governorate was divided into administrative centers, according to the Human Development Index, One village was selected from each center with a total of seven villages, and two villages from the south of Port Said governorate with a sample of 450 young people, selected by the method of stratified random sample in 2021 and used in the collection of data a questionnaire form in personal interview, and the study used appropriate statistical methods to analyze the data. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: that there are significant differences between the villages of Ismailia and Port Said governorates in the health, ecological and economic aspects at the probability level of 0.01 in both the modernization and development of villages, the correlation coefficient between the standard of living and the degree of modernization and development of the villages was the highest followed by the educational situation, the monthly income, geographical openness, where it contributes by 18%, 12%, 11%, and 6% respectively. There are six variables of the total independent variables studied that were introduced in the analysis, and these variables are the ones that contribute morally and substantively to the explanation of the variation in the degree of modernization and development of villages and these variables are: (educational status - monthly income - standard of living - geographical openness - cultural openness - degree of use of social networks), and explain about 60%, 69% of the variation in the degrees of modernization and development of villages respectively.
