Currently, Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) technology is restricted to desktop and high performance computing devices. In recent years, mobile devices and tablets have become ubiquitous due to their increased performance. However, the size of RTI files (≈100 MB) limits the range of portable devices capable of displaying RTI files. In this paper, we explore different compression techniques, and develop an RTI viewer prototype for both Android and iOS devices. Experiments with JPEG, JPEG2000, lossless compression show the resulting error for compression ratios of 30:1 is comparable to the error of traditional two-dimensional images. For higher compression rates, we present a novel αβ-JPEG algorithm which compresses color and reflectance information individually.

One of the e-commerce products that is popular nowadays is online shopping. Online shopping has been experiencing its golden years and becoming one of the potential contributions in e-commerce. In its report, [1] stated that retailers e-commerce sales increased by 18.4 percent from 2006 to 2007 while manufacturers, as the biggest contributor reached 35 percent. The advance of technology has encouraged this development while at the same time Information technology has obliterated the borderline of each country. The implication of this phenomenon is the spread of online shopping websites across the regional. One website originating from Egypt for example will be accessed and used by the people of all around the world. There will be a lot of advantages caused by this. Besides companies, customers gain their profits or advantages as well. E-commerce has been considered as knowledge-based economy that can support the economy of the countries applying it [2]. The importance of e-commerce has caused high competitiveness among the online business doers. Many efforts have been done to discover the factors behind both success and failure of e-commerce specifically online shopping adoption. This includes the abundant studies which are related with online shopping, e-commerce, or cultural values in e-commerce and website design conducted by many researchers and practitioners. One of the important factors in the online shopping is the cultural factors. This paper discusses issues regarding the influence of culture on online shopping in Jordan so that it can enhance the e-commerce in the country. This paper also aims to investigate whether culture takes essential role in the online shopping websites to affect consumers to have intention in doing online shopping transaction.

The Emergence of WEB 2.0 and social media technologies facilitates many social computing applications such as THREADLESS, WIKIPEDIA, GOOGLE and much more as a gateway of mediums in which vast amount of data is shared and discussed globally. These new internet technology platforms multiple broadways in which problems are shared and discussed, thus leveraging patron's globally to contribute collective synergy solutions. Subsequently, its intelligent revolution is aiding in solving world related problems. This paper discusses the topology of the collective intelligent mechanism and its influence in the internet technology. It provides a case structure of how CI is used as an online mechanism in improving issues related to climate change. As such the paper looks at the notion of Collective Intelligence from the perspectives of Social Sciences. It discusses the current state of climate change worldwide and shows evidence of how the matter of climate change can be solved collectively.

In recent years, numerous antenna technologies have caught much attention since they have been proved to enhance the general functions of systems. Various services are now provided by systems with manifold antennas. These systems are capable of increasing credibility of telecommunications and enhancing channel capacity remarkably. They are also able to boost link quality which could lower interference in large extents. The present study proposes implementation of two different patch antenna elements in order to enhance coverage and signal strength of the radiation pattern. Typically, one-element and three-element antennas are applied to assess radiation pattern. Thus, the present study aims to discern signal strength of antennas. It is measured applying the frequency of WiMAX frequency communication system 2.3GHz. Data analysis results of the study demonstrate that as radiation pattern enhances, the number of elements in antennas goes up. As such, it can be concluded that the number of antenna elements should be increased in order to achieve more directivity.
