SARS-CoV-2, the name given to the virus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, was first reported in the city of Wuhan from the Hubei region of China. Officially recognised at the beginning of 2020, it rapidly spread from Wuhan to the rest of China, eventually taking hold in the rest of the world despite global efforts to contain it. Of these efforts, the most notable is the implementation of lockdown policies which were meant to reduce as much as possible the spread of the virus, thus reducing the burden on the healthcare systems ("flatten the curve"), as well as buy time to develop more effective treatments. This paper intends to study the mental and physical effects exerted by these policies on people worldwide. The online survey has collected responses from 1,586 individuals from across the world, on which the authors employed varied statistical methods such as confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and multivariate analysis. The findings presented in the paper suggest that several effects, such as problems focusing, insomnia, feelings of guilt or pessimism, can be directly attributed to the lockdown-induced changes in people's behaviours and routines. The findings are not only indicative of the need for social interaction and physical activity, but also of the importance of factual information available to the public during such crises, and of the emotional support and assistance required by people to cope with situations like this.

Among investors of cryptocurrencies there are supporters and detractors; this claims for the identification of the behavioral and socio-demographic factors that push to invest (or not) in cryptocurrencies. A survey has been administered to 275 Italian investors. Together with socio-demographic features (gender, income, age, and education), behavioral factors derived from the theory of planned behavior (attitude, subjective norm, and perceived control behavior) and from the financial behavior literature (illegal attitude, herding behavior, perceived risk, perceived benefit, and financial literacy) have been collected and analyzed. While attitude, illegal attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, herding behavior, and perceived risk have a positive impact on investors' intentions. Socio-demographic factors and financial literacy have no influence on the intention to invest in cryptocurrencies. This is the first study that comprehensively investigates the influence of behavioral and socio-demographic factors on the intention of investors to invest in cryptocurrencies.

This paper has a dual purpose. First, it aims to construct and evaluate parental investment in early childhood based on five indicators: mental development, discipline, nutrition, health, and leisure. Second, it aspires to establish a link between the education of mother and family well-being and the level of parental investment in early childhood with regard to the five indicators. The author tests the impact of family well-being and mother's education on investment in early childhood to find out if discrimination of gender and residence inequalities matter. Results indicate that the family's degree of wealth/socio-economic class and mother's education have a significant positive effect on all indicators of parental investment in early childhood except on discipline. The author also sees that households in rural areas invest more in the discipline of their children than urban ones. Moreover, they discriminate between gender in favor of boys.

The aim of this paper is, through a two-staged literature review, to identify the role and impact of causation, effectuation, and bricolage logics during internationalization and, in particular, in entry-mode choice. The results show that entrepreneurs in their internationalization decisions can follow one, a combination, or a sequence of logics depending on the venture's or its international lifecycle and experience, the (perceptions of) internal and external context, and network relations. Likewise, entry modes such as JVs, strategic alliances, and export can be driven by different logics or their combination, while foreign direct investment is predominantly driven by causation logic. Bricolage has received little attention in extant work and, thus, is a future avenue for research. Research, although growing in importance, falls short of longitudinal studies, which are necessary to identify shifts, and, importantly, performance consequences of different decision-making logics.

Financial inclusion is a contemporary issue that has featured in the reforms agenda of several countries. Although it has gained momentum over time, the access to finance and basic financial services remained highly skewed across demographic and geographic segments. The purpose of the study is to analyse the performance of states/union territories in each dimension and composite index of financial inclusion. The focus is on ranking Indian states and union territories, identifying the major changes in ranks during 2000-01 to 2016-17, and finding the rate of expansion. The index of financial inclusion is calculated using three dimensions as per Sarma methodology. Log linear regression model is used to determine the growth rate in the measure of inclusion. The findings show that the index of financial inclusion value has enhanced in 28 and declined in four states/union territories out a group of 32 states/union territories. While a robust positive growth is observed in 23 states/union territories, the deterioration turns out to be significant in Chandigarh only.

Perceptions and expectations are integral aspects which affect people's decision making to support community-based development programs. Few studies have explored the perceptions-behaviour relationship and more so the stakeholders' perceptions towards the sustainability of community-based agricultural projects especially aquaculture. An understanding of perceptions for different stakeholder groups in community-based projects can clear misconceptions, and identify factors that can unleash the full potential of the community-based projects, so as to achieve sustainable societal development. In Namibia, four out of six community-based fish farm projects have failed. Hence, there is a need to explore stakeholder perceptions for improvement. Adopting a qualitative research method with interview guide to collect primary data, the aim of the article is to understand the status quo, re-define stakeholders' roles, expectations, and perceptions about consultation, participation, empowerment, ownership, etc., of community-based aquaculture project improvement and sustainability in Namibia.

This paper tests the gravity model for country of origin consumer evaluations. The analysis, based on about 2500 country pairs, indicates that consumer evaluations in one country (rating country) of products made in another country (rated country) are directly related to GDP of rated country and inversely to GDP of rating country and distances between them. Country pairs with common languages, rated country being an island, and political stability in rated countries are found to have a strong positive influence on the country evaluations. Rated country being a colony of the rating country in the past, rated country being a landlocked country, and country pair being in at least one active preferential trade agreement covering goods have negative influence on the country of origin evaluations. Contiguity between country pairs is found to have no influence on the country of origin consumer evaluations.

This paper is an exploration of the technological dimension that shapes the link between intermediate and capital goods imports (IKGM), manufactured exports (MX), and growth in the case of Tunisia. Within a time series analysis (1970-2016), the author focuses on the extent to which these two components of trade are differentiated and therefore incorporating increasing technological content. By using three-digit SITC-level data of IKGM and of MX, it is shown that weighing simple measures of exports and of imports with a measure of their differentiation reveals that exports are sufficiently differentiated to ensure technological spillovers, on one hand, and the payment of IKGM, on the other hand. The extensive and intensive margins of trade are also explored from the sides of exports and imports. They are put in evidence given the positive impact on growth of IKGM and MX measured in accordance to their differentiated configuration.

Over the past years, the business-to-customer online shopping market has grown rapidly and changed the business pattern. In order to differentiate themselves from competition, marketers have adopted e-business to provide superior service that satisfies consumers and ultimately create consumers' perceived value. The benefits of e-shopping also come with potential risks that the consumers must be aware of. One of the biggest challenges of e-stores is attracting enough online customers to be profitable and survive. That is why a shift in buying behaviour and attitude of consumers toward e-shopping is a key to success of e-stores. The present study focuses on identifying the key factors influencing consumers' perceived benefits and risks while shopping online. Further, the study presents the impact of perceived benefits and perceived risk on perceived value of e-shoppers. The results of the study will be useful to the e-marketing organizations to understand the consumers' behaviour particularly, in the Indian context and design strategies to provide higher customer value.

Generational succession is an issue that is of vital importance in family businesses, since the permanence of the company depends on the success of the process. All the steps to follow, as well as the literature on the subject, are studied in the case presented, which is limited to a consortium of companies dedicated to foreign trade, whose corporate is located in the city of Veracruz, with 30 years in the market and that is in the process of transition from the Council Presidency of the father to his son. The analysis includes the existing generational differences in the way of thinking and therefore in the way of managing several companies on which more than 600 employees depend and seeks to identify if there are some variables that ensures the success of a generational succession process.

All the steps to follow, as well as the literature on the subject, are studied in the case presented, which is limited to a consortium of companies dedicated to foreign trade, whose corporate is located in the city of Veracruz, with 30 years in the market and that is in the process of transition from the Council Presidency of the father to his son.
