Exploring the Perception of Characteristics between MZ Generation and Established Generation Kindergarten Teachers 探索 "MZ一代 "与 "成熟一代 "幼儿教师的特征认知

Objectives The purposes of this study were to explore the perceptions of MZ Generation and established generation teachers towards each other, focusing on their experiences and thoughts from their own perspectives in early childhood education institutions. Methods To achieve this, six teachers belonging to the MZ Generation born between 1990 and 1997 and currently working at A and B public kindergartens located in Seoul, and five teachers belonging to the established Generation born between 1965 and 1980 were selected as research participants. Data collection was conducted through interviews from June to July 2023, and qualitative analysis was performed. Results Upon examining the research results, first, the established generation teachers perceived MZ generation teachers as having the following characteristics: working until the exact hour, valuing fairness and having a clear sense of responsibility, prioritizing autonomy and efficiency, thinking digitally, and self-motivated to explore and try new things. Second, MZ generation teachers perceived the established generation teachers as having the following characteristics: having a passive tendency to follow the instructions of supervisors, thinking that experience is equivalent to ability, and valuing relationships and communication. Conclusions This study suggests significance as it aims to understand the characteristics of teachers from different generations in early childhood education institutions to address intergenerational conflicts in the teaching culture and provide basic data for communication and collaboration.

Interpersonal Stress and Psychological Well-Being of Infant Teachers in Korea: Focus on the Moderating Effect of Stress Coping Style 韩国幼儿教师的人际压力与心理健康:关注压力应对方式的调节作用

Objectives This study investigated the relation between interpersonal stress and psychological well-being of infant teachers in Korea, focusing on moderating effects of stress coping style. Methods The participants were 232 infant teachers who agreed to participate in this study. The measures included interpersonal stress questionnaires, psychological well-being questionnaires, and stress coping style questionnaires. The moderating effects were examined through hierarchical regression, after controlling the control variables. Results Interpersonal stress was negatively related to psychological well-being. Among stress coping styles, problem-focused coping and avoidance-focused coping were positively related to on psychological well-being, while emotion-focused coping was negatively related to psychological well-being. It was found that avoidance- focused coping style had a moderating effect on the relation between interpersonal stress and psychological well-being. Conclusions The results will serve as basic data for developing interventions to improve the psychological well-being of early childhood teachers in Korea, helping us understand the relation between these variables and the moderating effect of stress coping styles.

The Influences of Maladaptive Perfectionism on Career Anxiety: The Double Mediating Effects of Generalized Anxiety and Conflict Experience with a Professor of Graduate Students 适应不良的完美主义对职业焦虑的影响:广泛焦虑与研究生教授冲突经历的双重中介效应

Objectives The purpose of this study was to confirm the dual mediating effects of generalized anxiety and faculty conflict on the impact of maladaptive perfectionism on graduate students' career anxiety. Methods For this study, data were collected from 354 graduate students in Seoul, Korea, and SPSS Statistics 26.0 program and SPSS PROCESS (v.4.3) macro were used to conduct correlation analysis to analyze the relationship between key variables and the dual mediating effects of generalized anxiety and faculty conflict on maladaptive perfectionism and career anxiety. Results First, graduate students' maladaptive perfectionism, generalized anxiety, and conflict experience with a professor showed a positive correlation with career anxiety. Second, in the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and career anxiety, generalized anxiety showed a simple mediating effect. Third, generalized anxiety and conflict experience with a professor sequentially double mediated the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and career anxiety. Conclusions The findings are significant in that they provide implications for counseling interventions in the process of maladaptive perfectionism's transition to career anxiety in graduate student research. Finally, the current study's implications for future graduate student research are discussed, along with limitations and implications for clinical practice.

Development and Effects of Adjustment in Military Program for Recruit Training Center's Instructors 新兵训练中心教官军事适应计划的发展和影响

Objectives The purpose of this study is to develop a Adjustment in Military Program for Recruits Training Center’s Instructors who experience difficulties in Military life and to verify its effectiveness. Methods For the development of a Adjustment in Military Program, a draft was developed after analysis of previous research, survey of needs, and consultation with experts, and then final development was conducted through conduct and evaluation of preliminary research. The developed Adjustment in Military Program was applied to 36 Recruits Training Center’s Instructors belonging to the Army Unit Recruit ㅇㅇ Training Battalion located in ㅇㅇ Metropolitan City, divided into 3 groups (experiment/comparison/control). Tests were conducted to measure variables related to Adjustment in Military in three periods of program implementation (pre/post/follow-up), and effectiveness was verified through repeated measures analysis of variance (RM ANOVA) and qualitative analysis. Self-esteem, job satisfaction, family health, and stress of military life were selected as variables for the Adjustment in Military Program. Results First, the Adjustment in Military Program for recruits was Recruits Training Center’s Instructors was properly structured. Second, the variables related to Adjustment in Military, such as self-esteem, job satisfaction, family health, and stress of military life, showed an increase in the mean difference over time in the experimental group, while there was a slight change in the comparison group, but the difference was small, and in the control group was little or no change. Conclusions According to the experimental results, it was confirmed that the Adjustment in Military Program increases the self-esteem, job satisfaction, and family health of Recruits Training Center’s Instructors and reduces the stress of military life. And it is systematically organized so that anyone can use it easily and conveniently. Therefore, we expect that it can be widely used in other divisions' education Units and other military Units.

The effects of a children's digital play program based on LT cooperative learning on children's playfulness 基于 LT 合作学习的儿童数字游戏程序对儿童游戏性的影响

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of a digital play program based on LT cooperative learning (Learning Together) on children's playfulness. Methods To this end, we conducted a literature review and data collection according to the ADDIE model, and derived content and developed a program to utilize a digital play program based on LT cooperative learning. An experimental study was conducted for 5 weeks from June to July 2022 on 22 children in two classes of 5-year-olds at A Public Kindergarten and B Public Kindergarten located in E City, Gyeonggi-do. Results This program attempted to reconstruct the curriculum by linking physical computing educational activities and unplugged activities as digital play for children with the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum, and verified the positive effect of the developed program on children's playfulness. Conclusions The results of this study suggest a digital play program based on LT cooperative learning (Learning Together) as a model for integrating curriculum and digital play. In the future, it can be used as a curriculum development material for digital play operation for post-digital generation children in early childhood education fields.

Effects of COVID-19 Vaccination Intention and Related Anxiety on COVID-19 Prevention Performance of High School Students COVID-19 疫苗接种意向和相关焦虑对中学生 COVID-19 预防表现的影响

Objectives The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the performance of COVID-19 prevention performance in high school students. Methods A descriptive research study was conducted on 395 high school students located in D city to confirm the effect on the performance of COVID-19 prevention performance. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Results The average score of COVID-19 vaccination intention was 3.68±.81 points, the average score of COVID-19-related anxiety was 4.13±.56 points, and the average score of COVID-19 prevention behavior performance was 3.83±.57. In addition, COVID-19 vaccination intention and COVID-19-related anxiety were identified as factors affecting COVID-19 prevention behavior performance, and the total explanatory power was 29%. Conclusions This study presented results that significantly affected the performance of infectious disease prevention actions according to vaccination intention and anxiety. Accordingly, the government and health authorities suggest the importance of actively implementing strategies to increase trust in preventive vaccines and alleviate anxiety in order to prevent the spread of new infectious diseases in the future.

A Study on Difficulties and Support Plans for Oporating a Shared Childcare Centers for Infant and Young Children in Seoul: Centered in Nowon District 关于首尔婴幼儿共享托儿所的困难和支持计划的研究:以芦原地区为中心

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate and examine the operation of shared childcare spaces, a form of infant and toddler care in Seoul, with the goal of providing foundational data for proposing childcare policies. Methods The research methodology involved the collection and analysis of data through open-ended surveys, in-depth interviews, observations of childcare spaces, and examination of relevant documents. Results First, as for the environment of the center, the operators changed playing stuff quarterly and proper for the development of the children. Parents perceived the environment as clean and warm, respecting individual attention to children, and considering it a comfortable environment for playing together with their parents. Second, the challenges of the shared childcare center, operators claim that it is difficult to satisfy users’requests. They also claim that parents are not cooperative with keeping the center’s rules and regulations. The operators experienced limitations due to the diverse tasks they performed. Parents emphasize that the easy access to the center and the availability of the center without making reservations are most necessary. The reservation to use the center is very competitive. Third, as the demands and support methods of shared childcare center, the operators advocated for the provision of dedicated personnel. Parents requested program diversification, extension of weekend hours, and expansion of participation in cultural events. Conclusions Considering all these results, the author’s suggestion for the policy of sharing childcare center is that we need to expand rhdehddbrdkqksharing child care and we need to obtain more manpower with specialty and weekend operation and relaxation of reservation system.

Analysis of Research Trends on Depression in Elderly People Living Alone 独居老人抑郁症研究趋势分析

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the research trends on depression of the elderly living alone in Korea and to drive implications. Methods A total of 71 papers dealing with the subjects related to depression of the elderly living alone among the domestic journals published for 10 years from 2013 to August 2023 were analyzed. In the analysis of each research topic, biological, psychological, social, and health-related factors were used, and classification by depression measurement tool was carried out. In addition, in order to understand the current status of the variables studied with depression, the analysis was conducted by independent variables, mediating variables, moderating variables, and dependent variables. Results First, in terms of the publication status of academic journals by year, the largest number of researches were conducted in 2016 with 10 (14.08%), and researches on the subject of depression of the elderly living alone were steadily conducted. Second, as a result of analysis by research subjects, 57 were the elderly living alone and 12 were the elderly women living alone. Third, in the analysis by research method, the survey research was the largest with 50, followed by 12 experimental research, 5 mixed research, and 4 qualitative research. Fourth, as a result of analysis by data analysis method, quantitative analysis was the highest with 62, and regression analysis was the highest with 47. Fifth, in the analysis of research topics and contents, psychological factors accounted for 69.23%, social factors 20.51%, health-related factors 7.05%, and biological factors 3.21%. Conclusions Based on these results, implications and suggestions for research on depression of the elderly living alone in Korea were provided.

Analysis of Educational Needs and Priorities on Competencies for the Doctors of Korean Medicine 韩医学博士的教育需求和能力重点分析

Objectives In 2015, the Institute of Korean Medicine Education & Evaluation undertook a study to develop a competency model for Doctors of Korean medicine, with the aim of transitioning the educational system of Korean medical colleges to a competency-based approach. Anticipating future societal changes, the research identifies educational needs for core competencies in Korean medicine, intending to enhance a competency-based curriculum for prospective doctors. Methods The study involved a survey of 44 students in Korean traditional medicine to investigate the importance and current implementation of core competencies. It utilized the Borich Needs Assessment and The Locus for Focus model to analyze the educational needs. Additionally, a survey was conducted to assess the competencies needed for traditional Korean medicine doctors in future. Results Results highlighted the highest educational needs in ‘Participating in Developing Policies for Public Health,’ ‘Finance & Human Resources Management,’ and ‘Manage Medications & Supplements.’ Conversely, lower needs were observed for ‘Participating in Public Health Events Locally & Nationally’ and ‘Learning & Research Activities.’ Essential competencies for future Korean medicine doctors included utilizing electronic medical records, understanding telemedicine technology, and proficiency in artificial intelligence and big data analysis. Conclusions The results showed a higher importance than implementation for all competencies, highlighting the need to review the current educational curriculum. Specifically, there is a need to cultivate competencies in traditional Korean medicine related to law, policy, and system involvement, and to enhance management skills as practitioners. The study also underscored the necessity of incorporating digital technology competencies for future Korean medicine doctors.The findings underscore the necessity for a curriculum redesign.

A Case Study on the Self-Growth of Learners in Mokdonaru School, ‘Transition Year’ Institution 莫克多纳鲁学校 "过渡年 "学生自我成长案例研究

Objectives This study aims to deeply understand the process of self-growth in students within the school educational environment. It explores the self-growth process of four participants who are enrolled in a transitional educational institution, ‘Mokdonaru School’ located in Chungcheongbuk-do. Methods Preliminary surveys were conducted among all enrolled students, and foundational surveys were carried out with all teachers to select four research participants. Semi-structured, in-depth interviews were conducted with these participants, and the data was collected through transcription. The gathered data was analyzed using Nvivo (version 14), processing a cyclical process of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. Results The participants in this study revealed a growth process characterized by individual differences. They recognize various triggers and elements as the background of their self-growth, and their individual growth is not so much independent as it is holistic, affecting and transforming across the areas of self-identity, social identity, and career identity. Conclusions These findings suggest the need for a deeper understanding of individual differences in students' self-growth processes in secondary education, and for a holistic approach that goes beyond a narrow focus on teaching activities to include the diverse living spaces and relational aspects surrounding the school.
