Changing patterns of serviceability of healthcare infrastructures:An investigation on proposed smart cities of West Bengal 医疗保健基础设施可服务性模式的变化:对西孟加拉邦拟议智能城市的调查

Better healthcare service delivery is a pertinent parameter to improve Human development Index of a nation. Better service is indispensable without attaining the basic parameters of health like resource allocation, humanitarian approach along with service equivalents coordinated with proper accountability. In the current scenario of development and implementation of smart city projects, integration of healthcare service delivery have become a subject of paramount importance. In such a situation, it has become necessary to allot the nancial as well human resources in proper constructs of service delivery .This action oriented pro-active approach will help in strengthening the pillars of existing as well as conceived smart city projects. This study is an empirical approach to mine out the dimensions emerged due to changing patterns of healthcare service delivery in proposed smart cities of West Bengal. The investigation has explored the parameters of service delivery among the respondents of proposed smart cities. The factors explored are amenability, trustworthiness, competency of the staff, and clinical competency along with timeliness. The ndings will act as a value addition for the investors, stakeholders like Public institutions, private organizations, PPP organizations to integrate the strategies of healthcare service delivery with smart city projects effectively. The extracted parameters will also help in designing the serviceability of healthcare infrastructures of smart cities in resilient and sustainable way.

Physiological burden on cognitive performance of middle managers in modern organization: Nigerian experience 现代组织中层管理者认知绩效的生理负担:尼日利亚经验

This study investigated the effect of physiological burden on cognitive performance of middle managers in Nigerian work organization. Data was collected from 62 middle managers in manufacturing, banking and oil rms operating within Niger Delta States, Nigeria. Data collected were subjected to multiple regression analysis and the outcome indicated that physiological burden adversely affect middle managers cognitive ability to perform assiduously in the Nigerian work environment due to burden which translate into emotional damage on their physical and mental wellbeing. The study concluded that organizations need to build structures that would enable middle managers develop self condence in order to function amidst stressful conditions, since mental workload proves to reduce individual ability to function effectively. The study recommends that Nigerian managers should discourage coercive behaviours for improving productivity because human beings are not animals but emotional creatures that perceive negative treatment as dehumanization of their personality in the workplace.
