Comparative analysis in terms of environmental impact assessment between railway and air passenger transport operation: a case study 铁路与航空客运营运环境影响评价之比较分析:以个案为例

These days, the burden of transport operation on environment means major issue, above all in terms of vehicles' energy consumption and emission gases' production which cause serious global problems. This manuscript is focused on particular investigation concerning emission gases' production between chosen modes of transport. Specifically, railway passenger transport and air passenger transport are considered. Introductory sections of the manuscript consist of clarifying relevant concepts, elaborating a literature review in a given context and presenting methodological guideline details in regard to quantify the amount of greenhouse gases emissions as well as energy consumption. Thereafter, the most important paper sections follow which include compiling the particular research study within a discussed topic with a purpose to quantify and compare an environmental burden (impact) of railway passenger and air passenger means of transport operation, outcomes achieved assessment, as well as related discussion.

Energy/power efficiency and parametric optimisation of a non-afterburning turbojet engine 非加力涡轮喷气发动机的能量/功率效率和参数优化

In this study, the fluid power values per unit mass flow in a turbojet engine were calculated under different design criteria at on-design phase. Emphasis is placed on understanding and applying the effect of compressor pressure ratio (πc) and turbine inlet temperature (TIT) on the fluid specific total power (TPs), specific wasted power (WPs), specific thrust power (τPs), specific fuel consumption and overall efficiency. Also, these design parameters (πc and TIT) are optimised with genetic algorithm for better system efficiency. The analysis results obtained via on-design method are quantified for 3 ≤ πc ≤ 10, 1,000 K ≤ TIT ≤ 1,400 K. According to the results of optimisation for minimum specific fuel consumption, optimum values of WPs and τPs are found 156.384 kJ/kg and 133.953 kJ/kg, respectively. Optimum propulsive, thermal and overall efficiencies which are performance parameters are determined 48.5%, 37.04% and 17.96% respectively.

Peculiarities of airports development strategy in Ukraine in context of environmental friendly land management 环境友好型土地管理背景下乌克兰机场发展战略的特点

The article deals with the features of airport forecasting, planning and design in the context of ecological and efficient land management. Methodical approaches to the assessment of the risks and consequences of the operation of the airport in the initial stages of the project are analysed. The problems of formation and management of the surrounding area of the airport are considered here by the examples of some international airports: Kai Da - Hong Kong, Kiev Zhuliany - Ukraine. The article offers a detailed zoning plan for the aerodrome neighbourhood of Kyiv International Airport (Ukraine). The principles of zoning of territory around the aerodrome in conjunction with the aerodrome (heliport, permanent runway) and land use are substantiated, the necessity of displaying the specified territory in the State Land Cadastre of Ukraine and in the databases of accounting of the quantity and quality of lands of other countries is proved.

Laser welding and its implementation in the assembly of battery packs in aviation 激光焊接及其在航空电池包装配中的应用

Following an overview of conventional bonding techniques used for the assembly of battery packs of modern hybrid vehicles special attention will be paid to laser keyhole welding. The unique challenges of aviatic applications, especially joining large number of batteries in a highly reproducible manner are pinpointed. The effect of contact area on the electrical and mechanical properties of laser welded joints is investigated on a DC01 steel model structure. The results are also discussed in terms of laser scanning speed. In the optimal process parameter range joints exhibiting electrical and mechanical properties appealing for assembling hybrid aircraft battery packs can be produced with high reproducibility.

In a process of continuous improvement of reducing the rates of aircraft crashes, we must examine each crash so that we will become able to take measures to prevent such accidents from happening again in the future under the same conditions. This paper uses two different crashes as case studies. This study also includes a discussion of the necessity of the FDR and CVR equipment for determining causal factors of the crashes. The major focal points in the course of following the investigative strategies of these two crashes are furnished herein, and the comparison of these crashes gives us very important insights. The most important consequence obtained in this study is, therefore, a need for emphasising the learning process from each crash and the emphasis on the implementation of deduced recommendations.

Methods for assessment of NOx emissions from aircraft engine 航空发动机氮氧化物排放评估方法

During the last decade a lot of investigations also focused on the evaluation of the impact of aircraft engine emissions on the local and regional air quality in the vicinity of the airport. The certificated emission indices rely on well-defined measurement procedures and conditions during engine test. Under real circumstances, however, operational (power setting, time-in-mode and fuel flow rate) and meteorological (air temperature, humidity and pressure) conditions may vary from ICAO definition, consequently deviations from the certificated emission indices may occur. The advanced emission model of turbofan engine (TURBOGAS emission model) was developed for the assessment of aircraft engine emissions taking into account the influences of operational and meteorological conditions on emission indexes to generate precise aircraft emissions inventories as well as contrails likelihood and lifetime. Both BFFM2 and P3T3 methods have been implemented in the TURBOGAS emission model.

The methods of relative navigation of satellites formation flight 卫星编队飞行相对导航方法

This paper is devoted that relative navigation of satellites which fly within a formation. The concept and the methods of swarm satellites technology and architecture are explained. The difference between the constellation and the formation architecture of satellites are focused. Analyses of relative motion between satellites are simulated by mathematical model which used Hill-Clohessy-Wiltshire (HCW) equations and Keplerian orbital equations. The results of the analysis show that all axes shift by formation. The control algorithms requirements of follower satellite are decided according to the drift of the all axes. Extended Kalman filters are used for optimisation, estimation and control stability of nonlinear orbital relative motion of satellites. At last, comparison of relative navigation models are focused.

Understanding seasonality in passenger traffic at Indian airports 了解印度机场客流量的季节性

Air traffic in India has seen significant growth over the past few years. The growth story is likely to continue, and traffic is likely to grow up to 1.256 billion by the year 2040. The presence of seasonality in traffic due to holidays, religious events, etc. has been a concern for airports and airlines to manage the demand during such seasonal traffic. The paper attempts to analyse the seasonality at six major airports in India for domestic and international passenger traffic. HEGY method has been applied for monthly data of air traffic across these six airports for domestic and international air traffic, respectively. The results indicate the presence of different seasonality at these airports for domestic and international traffic.
