DC ready devices - Is redimensioning of the rectification components necessary? 直流器件-是否需要调整整流元件的尺寸?

DC has several advantages over ac. In relation with the changes needed in todays ac power system to deal with dominating amounts of fluctuating renewable energy, it seems wise to consider dc as an alternative. One of the problems with introducing dc grids is the lack of availability of dc devices. DC ready devices that work on both - ac and dc - would simplify a smooth introduction of dc there, where it has its biggest advantage. This is especially interesting for newly built infrastructure, e.g. in developing countries with bad ac infrastructure, but also for upgrading the power of existing ac cables when needed. As most ac devices today already have dc/dc converters inside, the changes are not as big as one might assume. In this paper the rectification stage and power factor correction is looked at in detail and it is shown that in most cases there is no need for re-dimensioning of components to make devices dc ready. Other important points are subject of ongoing research as are dc microgrids in general.

Dipsticks integrated on smart diapers for colorimetric analysis of urinary tract infections in the field 智能纸尿裤上集成的尿路感染比色分析

Urinary tract infections (UTI) are common infection diseases in the hospitals, affecting especially elderly people. Detecting UTI from samples obtained from elderly persons is difficult and time-consuming procedure. Although the current commercial dipsticks are relatively easy to use and work well with large-volume urine samples, they are difficult to use in diapers, where the urine is highly absorbed. Diapers have been envisaged as an ideal method to easily collect samples from elderly persons. In this regard, this paper introduces a new approach to detect UTI markers from used diapers. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method, commercial dipsticks were incorporated within the diapers, and three UTI markers were detected in urine samples previously deposited on those smart diapers. The results of the dipstick tests showed no significant difference between integrating the dipsticks within the diaper and testing the dipsticks in beakers with urine. Furthermore, the results were consistent between different concentrations (105 to 109 CFU/ml) of E. coli cells, the major UTI agent, spiked into the urine samples. This method holds promises for not only elderly persons, but also adults, especially women, even pets that could have UTI. The concept of smart diaper can also be extended to sanitary towel and pet pad.

Design and optimization of synchronous reluctance machine 同步磁阻电机的设计与优化

This paper deals with the design of synchronous reluctance machine of the transverse-laminated type. Rotor design has been made for two different rotor geometries based on general design recommendations. These geometries are studied and compared by using 2D finite element analysis. The geometries are developed by optimization algorithms after that. The optimized parameters are torque ripple and average value of the torque. Finally optimized design is compared with initial one. Stator for purpose of this study is used from standard asynchronous machine.

Smart Grids process framework assessment through process modeling 通过过程建模对智能电网过程框架进行评估

Smart Grids are current stage in power grids evolution. This trend brings increased demands on network management and it results in the need for greater involvement of ICT technologies to power grids. In telecommunications, managing large ICT networks is traditionally handled at high level and has been described by standardized process frameworks. One of the most important process frameworks is Frameworx by TM Forum. It is generally assumed that the processes from the telecommunications can be adapted to the Smart Grids. This paper addresses the use of existing techniques from the field of telecommunications, especially the Frameworx in the power grid sector. This aim is achieved through modeling and simulation of processes in the power grid using the processes described for telecommunications networks. The output of the paper is to assess the suitability of the usage of formalized process frameworks in the field of power grids.

Evaluation of relationship between the activity of upper limb and the piloting precision 上肢活动度与操纵精度关系的评价

Flying an aircraft requires a significant degree of coordination of upper and lower limbs. Such movements tend to be rather uncoordinated in the case of inexperienced pilots which results in inaccurate piloting. The aim of this study is to prove or disprove the dependence of the upper limb activity in relation to the aircraft steering during various actions which are required for precise maneuvering. We also deal with the design of a method to determine the degree of correlation between the movement of the hand and the airplane. The study was conducted on 8 subjects with the same level of experience during 11 hours of flight training on the simulator of type TRD40 and aircraft of type DA40. Subjects performed 14 maneuvers in total. Between takeoff and landing a recurring cycle of four maneuvers has been carried out by the subjects. Repeated maneuvers were in the order from the straight-and-level flight, horizontal turn by 360°, ascend turn by 180°, and descent turn by 180°. Recorded data except for basic flight data (magnetic course, banked and altitude) have been variables depicting the activity of the pilot's upper limb. The activity was measured using triaxial accelerometer located on the dorsal side of the distal end of the forearm. The correlation coefficient proved relationship between the upper limb movement and aircraft steering both at bank and altitude. It testifies that change of bank and altitude of aircraft is directly connected with upper limb movements. Resultant activity standard deviation relation correlation coefficient is 0.7.

Analysis of high-speed induction motor 高速感应电动机分析

This paper deals with the analysis and design aspects of the high-speed induction machines. Unlike classical induction motor high-speed motor create many challenges in design. The challenges are discussed in the introduction. High-speed machines with solid rotors were design in ansoft Maxwell software. The study induction machine have nominal power 1500 W and synchronous rotating speed 40000 rpm. The first model is equipped with conductive cooper layer on the surface. The following models are equipped with axial slits. In the end the parameters of different machines were extract in Maxwell software.

Introduction to design of speed controller for fuel pump 燃油泵转速控制器的设计简介

This contribution presents an efficient approach to design of speed controller for fuel pump. The fuel pump is used for two-shaft turbine engine concept with reducer driven by a free turbine. Controlling the amount of fuel injection into the combustion chamber is based on the speed control of the fuel pump which is controlled by the engine control unit according to the desired power mode. The resulting flow of fuel into the combustion chamber beside the pump speed regulator influences the bypass which constricts the return fuel according to pressure in the nozzles. Control characteristic of the bypass controller is fixed and is determined by its structure. The only adjustable parameter is the speed of the fuel pump. This paper describes the design procedure of this fuel pump using a two-level controller with speed and subordinate current-torque control.

This article deals with modular system of DC-DC converters which contains more than one converter. It is possible to connect all converters in parallel for gain high output current, all converters in serial for high output voltage or various combinations to reach desired output voltage and current. The paper describes possible control structures for mentioned connections. This system is self-reconfigurable - whole system should immediately change internal connection according required output parameters. The forward converter with a transformer was chosen as a basic element of the system. The modular system is interleaved; it leads to output current and voltage ripple reduction and cheaper output filter.

Analysis of rotor's eccentricity influence on bearing load of induction machine 转子偏心对感应电机轴承负荷的影响分析

To ensure reliable drive with an induction machine requires deep insight in electro-mechanical dynamics during its operation. The flexible multibody modeling technique enables the simulation of dynamic loads on all drive components. This paper focuses on complex modeling of machine's behavior in case of eccentrically placed rotor. The life time of machine's bearing becomes very important issue of machine's maintenance and reliability and is markedly influenced by any unbalanced forces acting on the rotor. The rotor eccentricity is one of the most significant aspects making machine's bearing loaded by strong unbalanced magnetic pull. Only the complex flexible model of the rotor considering all unbalanced rotor forces can provide us the very detailed information about the bearing load. The methodology of determination of such loading is applied to the 11 kW squirrel-cage induction machine.

Identification of multi-mass mechanical systems in electrical drives 电气传动中多质量机械系统的辨识

This paper presents methods for parameter identification of mechanical resonance of two-mass and multi-mass electrical drive system. The presented methods were applied in the field of parameter identification. Various identification setups are considered: different identification models (ARX and OE), sampling periods and models orders. Results for two different excitation signals are presented: pseudo random binary signal and chirp wave. Spectral analysis is used to calculate frequency response data of electric drive with elastic connection. The discussed methods of identification are verified by both simulation and laboratory stand test.
