To carry out a quality project, the company collaborators need to rely on an efficient management methodology. It is the key to organize the project in a structured and streamlined manner, it helps the team to be more structured. The traditional methods are usually used on projects based on very precise ideas with very detailed specifications and planning which anticipated all possible risks. Nevertheless, these do not allow any kind of interaction with the customer, who will receive the project once it is finished. For that reason, solutions like eXtreme Programming and Scrum have been proposed by project management experts respecting the interaction with the customer, ability to change, and so on. These methods share the same values and principles, but each one has its own singularities. In this paper, we will present the process flow model of the Scrum and XP methods. For this process flow model, we used the BPMN models.

This paper presents a teaching-learning-based optimization algorithm for discrete large-scale multi-objective problems (DLM-TLBO). Unlike the previous variants, the learning strategy used by each individual and the acquired knowledge are defined based on its level. The proposed approach is used to solve a bi-objective object clustering task (B-OCT) in a swarm robotic system, as a case study. The simple robots have as mission the gathering of a number of objects distributed randomly, while respecting two objectives: maximizing the clustering quality, and minimizing the energy consumed by these robots. The simulation results of the proposed algorithm are compared to those obtained by the well-known algorithm NSGA-II. The results show the superiority of the proposed DLM-TLBO in terms of the quality of the obtained Pareto front approximation and convergence speed.

The technology has known a great development in the last years, which leads to the apparition of several devices. This diversity permits users to connect freely to the network. However, the mobile system’s energy consumption is maximized. Therefore, reducing the energy consumption of the mobile user is a key issue for Heterogeneous Networks(HetNet). The main aim of this paper is the minimization of energy consumption by the use of a wise user association strategy. The novel approach consists of associating the users taking into account their optimal cost of association to the available network. This selection is realized by the Best Worst Method(BWM). Simulation results prove that the proposed approach has significantly improved network performances

Hadoop has become the most popular and the most used platform in distributed data processing, Hadoop is also an open-source software that implements the MapReduce model for processing big data, it has taken a large part in scientific research in the field of big data, a lot of research has addressed allocation and scheduling in Hadoop system, in this paper we will present the main research done in improving the performance of the MapReduce model of Hadoop platform. The Most previous surveys only focused on Hadoop MapReduce scheduling and how to ameliorate it, but this paper tries to give an overview of the important work that aim to improve the performance of Hadoop MapReduce from different sides (energy, budget, scheduling, makespan …).

A Personalized question-answering system aims to provide tailor-made answers for each user's question according to his interests and preferences. Building such a system depends essentially on creating user profiles that represent actual user interests. In this paper, we present a personalized open-domain question-answering system based on large scale ontologies. Furthermore, we describe the main components of our system and the techniques used for handling user's questions in a personalized approach based on the user profile. To evaluate our system, we introduce a user-centered methodology based on the users’ feedback. The results show a significant improvement in users’ satisfaction when their profiles are used to personalize answers.

Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) is a data analysis method in high-dimensional settings, it is used as a dimension reduction method and also as a tool of linear regression. However, it has some problems in a big data context when the data is too large and has been designed to handle only quantitative variables. In this paper, we will present PLSR, then discuss adaptations and extensions of PLS regression to overcome these problems so that it can be more use-full in a big data context.

COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the last corona virus that was discovered. This new virus and disease was unknown before the outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. COVID-19 is now pandemic and affects many countries around the world. Since COVID-19 is a type of flu, it can be diagnosed using radiology imaging techniques. With rapid development in the field of deep learning, there had been intelligent systems to classify between normal, pneumonia and COVID-19 patients. In this study, we have proposed a new neural network that is a concatenation of VGG16, ResNet-50 and Xception networks. The overall average accuracy of the proposed network for all classes is 98%, and the average accuracy for detecting COVID-19 cases is 100%.

The novel 2019 Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was discovered as a novel disease pneumonia in the city of Wuhan, China at the end of 2019. Now, it becomes a Coronavirus outbreak around the world, the number of infected people and deaths are increasing rapidly every day according to the updated reports of the World Health Organization (WHO) .The expanding of this coronavirus that infected people is highly rise because most of them do not relate the common symptom of this virus is fever or high body temperature. Because of the expanding keep increasing quickly, currently, infrared thermometers are being used everywhere to check the body temperature in places with large number of people. But this process is not really efficient even it might cause the spread of the coronavirus from the infectious people to the person who does the screening process. Therefore, applications, architecture, and technology systems need to be improved for quick and timely enforcement of rules, guidelines and government orders to contain such future outbreaks. The aim of this study is to design a system that has capability to diagnose COVID-19 earlier and to improve its treatment by applying medical technology, with less human interactions using IoT technology and develop how smart city networks should contribute to the improvement of standardization protocols for increased data sharing in the event of outbreaks or disasters.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are considered emerging innovative technologies, equipped with different sensors they can offer various services and applications. It is possible to exploit unmanned aerial vehicles to capture high spatial resolution images and high temporal resolution images, which could be helpful in many smart farming applications. We expect that these innovations will revolutionize agriculture, enabling to take faster decisions, and promise major cost savings and production enhancements. Precision agriculture is based on the use of the right process, with the right quantities, at the proper place and time, according to the targeted application. In this paper, we address the prevalent applications of UAVs and artificial intelligence in precision agriculture and their benefits in Algeria.

Distance learning has always been a solution to support face-to-face learning. It represents an interesting solution to free learners from the constraints of time and place. For this reason, several researches have been conducted to improve the effectiveness of this solution; From January 2020, with the propagation of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), distance learning has become an obligation in several countries to ensure the continuation and development of the learning process. The implementation of this strategy must take into consideration the category of the target audience because distance learning for a child in the primary cycle differs from a university student especially in the period of confinement where the learner is invited to mobilize all his or her autonomy to accomplish the learning task. The objective of this paper is to highlight the impact of COVID-19 on the educational process in Morocco, by introducing the different procedures, methods and tools proposed by the Moroccan government in order to make a success of this experience. In addition, we have put forward some recommendations to ensure effective distance learning by presenting the teaching model after COVID-19.
